Sarawak BN Wanita Chief Speaks Her Mind…

“We have come a long way ever since we have been together and todays BN Sarawak in PBB,SUPP,PRS and SPDP are 1United force and 1BN when we go to the elections eventhough there are a number of petty differences here and there” says Empiang to audie61 at the sidelines after the Press Conference..

She continued”I can see clearly in the youths today who are transforming to be better politicians as nowadays the technological advances means the young politicians have to be on their toes and move with the times. The elderly or veteran politicians are always willing to lend their ears and offer to give assistance when required and we will not interfere unless they step out of line

1BN believes in collective decisions and thats why we are very much intact.”

PRS “Senatorship..”

Its another winnable strategy by PRS leaders in trying to solve the problems besetting SPDP and also allowing the Separatists 5 plus 3 to temporary park at PRS. Though the 5 plus 3  has not heeded the CM to “cool  it” they have on their part listened and were advised by the PM Najib not to start a new party but park at a current BN coalition partner.

PRS is in a win win situation and according to inform sources the PRS Wanita Chief Doris Brodie would be sworn in as Senator with effective from the 12th of March 2010. Of course this is another political message being handed down and its more than meets the eye. We offer our congratulations to her and as we answered our smses “VERY GOOD DESERVEDLY”-

Many congratulations to PRS and it seems the President has consented to her appointment with the blessings from the CM and approval from PM Najib.

Erm Ooops “Jual tubuh”

Wah! Lau Eh…! This is just well below the belt and for all intends and purposes he should not only resign but also  be charged with the Sedition Act as Sammy Vellu the MIC President made very clear. How could you Nasir Safar even utter these words?

  • Are you using your position as special aide to PM to garner cheap publicity?
  • Are you devoid of media attention and thus all out to create a “RACIST SLUR
  • Have you been all cooked up in the PM’s office or under duress and stressed out?
  •  Did you forget to take your hypertension’ Herbesser” Pills..??

Please,STOP ALL THESE NONSENSE or Malaysia will really go down the DUMPS.Maybe this quote will straighten things up for you.As if you need reminding: “DOING WHAT IS RIGHT IS EASY.THE PROBLEM IS NOT KNOWING WHAT IS RIGHT.’

What the hell is happening lately says a concerned Sarawakian..? audie61 crew reminded him we are all Malaysians though but Natasha ,Joey and Cindy were indeed too angrered that words that came out are not publishable. This is not normal and there is indeed a “much bigger picture” unfolding says a political watcher.

The full report below as reported by Malaysiakini

Nasir Safar, the special officer to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who stirred a hornet’s nest with his stinging ‘racist’ remarks will resign, according to a statement from the premier’s office this evening.

NONE“The remarks allegedly made by Nasir in Malacca today do not in any way reflect the views of the prime minister,” the statement said.

“… Nasir never intended to make any derogatory remarks. He spoke at length on the contributions made by all races in developing the country.

“Nevertheless, Nasir apologises for any offence caused…and in light of this, will tender his resignation.”

Participants stage walkout

Earlier today, Malaysiakini had reported that Nasir drew flak for his comments made during a seminar titled ‘Rapat 1Malaysia’ in Malacca this morning.

Among others, he had allegedly described the Indians and Chinese in Malaysia as ‘pendatang’ or ‘guests’.

He had also threatened to revoke the citizenship of those making ‘extreme demands’ to scrap the subject cap for the SPM examination.

A source, who was among those at the seminar, claimed that Nasir also said that Chinese women come here to ‘jual tubuh’ (engage in the flesh trade).

His remarks prompted scores of MIC and MCA members as well as non-governmental organisation representatives to stage a walkout.

Following this, MIC leaders, including party president S Samy Vellu, demanded that stern action be taken against Nasir.

Samy Vellu called for the special officer to be punished under the Sedition Act.

9/11 “Back from Hiatus and the Penan Drum Beats Louder”

9/11 its a very significant date in the United States ( The September 11 attacks (often referred to as September 11th or 9/11) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by Al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001.

We covered the PENAN ISSUE on Oct 7th 2008 and today its 9/11 and at 9.11 am I received an sms from a political friend who said to me that the Penan Issue is headlined in the front page of the Star,”They were RAPED“. I did tell him that once audie comes back from HIATUS it will be on 9/11. The drum beats from the jungles where the nomadic Penans live is without a doubt creating A BIG BOOM,BOOM BOOM SOUND.

I did mention to a women activists who is very close to the Minister of Women ,Family and Community in the presence of a lady lawyer  a couple of days ago and we are thankful to the almighty creator that the prayers are answered. This must never go one and the Penans are HUMAN BEINGS too and their RIGHTS have to be Protected.

Back from HIATUS on 9/11 and this is the HEADLINES STORY,”THEY WERE RAPED” .

Allegations of Penan girls and women being raped and molested by timber company workers in the Baram district in Sarawak have been confi rmed to be true.

A special committee set up by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry revealed that at least seven girls and women were raped and molested – confi rming a news report by The Star late last year.

The horror the Penan girls and women went through.

> A girl, 12, was raped by a stranger outside her hostel and by a timber worker when she took a lift in a timber company’s vehicle from her village in Long Kawi to her school in Long Lama. She got pregnant, quit school and married a Penan man.

> A woman from Long Item was raped by a timber worker in 2005 and 2007 and gave birth to a baby girl, now two years old.

> One was raped by an Iban timber worker when she was kidnapped at the age of 13, while visiting her relatives in Miri.

> One was almost raped when she took a lift with her father from a timber company to apply for an identity card.

> In Long Muboi, a student said her 14-year-old friend was molested by a truck driver who gave her a lift to school.

> A 17-year-old girl gave birth to a child and her neighbours claimed that she had sexual relations with the timber workers.

> A group of women said they believed that sex exploitation exists among the Penan women and girls but they were too ashamed to tell their stories.

BN/Pakatan..”Want,Used and Needs”

GetAttachment

We are so Confused.Where is the line that is drawn in politics. There isn’t and one will go all out just to get the ‘ desired result ” More questions and yet there are no pre-determined answers for these group of young aspiring political upstarts. The most common question that is unplucked from the brain cells of these group in which Natasha and Joey of audie61 squeezed out were the simplest English terms of,”Want,Used and Needs”

They asked similar questions of What does BN want from you? Is Pakatan making used of you? Who needs you more BN/Pakatan? In the whole context these questions looks harmless but in the defining world of politics they will probably mean where does these young mind go from here on.

TDFQJCAGG09HDCAWWT02ICA473DM6CAJJAU6LCAT1BNTOCAW7XJ3CCAF8Q5POCAAD45QNCAQNK09WCAIZWIH4CA2GJH0PCA9ZOZ26CAEV12Q4CAX71BICCAZJ4Q1ACAQ9N6BVCA7TR6CHCAMKKD50CA5NXD0E

Try asking yourself these questions infront of the mirror. It has to be immediatedly after saying good morning to yourself before you even brush your teeth. When you have done that and read these its time you leave your comments. Don’t just think that you are EXEMPTED from this tasks. Don’t fool yourself as you will be a greater fool nevertheless. You will do yourself justice by fulfilling this simple yet as effective as A,B,C.

To protect the anonimity of our political boys we will not use names. In this interview with Natasha she stumbled upon a young teenage political machai or running”dog”.He was so disillusioned with the world of politics that he just decided to give up on the platform that he vouched that could bring him his future. A BN component party was his desired ship where many promises were dished out like gift vouchers. He swore by the institution that he followed and even raised his fists with outcries of ‘A Malaysia for all”

BNlogotwirl

The promises many a time were whispered into his ears to push him to go the extra mile by very senior and veterans of the party who has seen past glory days. How unfortunate for these young brash and cocky upstarts to filter through their hands and to be so disillusioned so young and so fast. Is this what he wanted? Didn’t he feel used and are his needs being looked after?

Meanwhile Joey was so captivated by the  lady who feels that Pakatan used her to achieve their aims. She was in the frontline doing all the necessary works, designs and finalising speeches for functions and yet she did not complain. Did she not? Did she do it just to fulfill what she has set out to do? To ensure that the government under Pakatan was so much better than the former BN administration was her priority.

Pakatan tree

Alas, power achieved the directions somewhat were not like the dreams that she has woken up to in the middle of the night.Used or has she not come to terms that governing is so much different from shouting slogans on election ceramahs. She is perplexed and confused and has not woken up to the believe that Pakatan is ruling in her state. Its not so much USED but too much, too little time to swallow.

There are many political boys who are really at crossroads and are wondering with anticipation that they are really needed now more than ever. These second echelon leaders are waiting for the invitation cards for them to make their moves either into a higher more respectable position within the BN/Pakatan hierarchy. They have put in many years of solid and hard training years plus all the efforts to get themselves recognisable in their parties. The time has come for them to be united under one umbrella.

conspiracy

They might belong to different parties with different ideologies crossed warpaths but now they see themselves in just one big family. Do they make that switch? Are they willing to make this united stand,” There are NO ENEMIES IN POLITICS BUT IT”S A WAY OF LIFE.DOG EAT DOG” They see a NEED for them to belong but who needs them more and this time for real its not a journey to regret.

The two party system is upon us and these young upstarts have their choices and they need not be used but wanted and who they join is a matter of who will give them that PLATFORM TO SHINE. Afterall the young loves to be showered with praises but it has got to be sincere.

Still confused? Are you one of the many young political upstarts who has seemingly trudged into the shadowy world of politics. Its your choice and this is not a mere journey for the faint hearted and its a tough and gruelling way ahead. You will find your feet at times submerged in virtually impossible circumstances which needs the political acumen to get you out of the sticky situation.

There are many seasoned politicians who has ventured into these path but are so afraid that these young goons will outshine them and they will not give their ‘untold secrets”Are they selfish?  Harvard they say to these young upstarts does not give you the ground training in politics and these you have to earn your stripes. What chances do they have unless they are used to their potential. Its the simple words of want, used and need again dont you think so.

Is the line drawn clearer? What chances do you give the young to choose. is it a 50/50 now for them? What are the political parties available for them? Is it UMNO,PKR,PBB,DAP,PAS,PRS.PBS.SPDP,SUPP,MIC.Gerakan.LDP,PBS,UPKO.SAPP,PBRS,SNAP,PPP..? BN or Pakatan will be no diferent if the “kitchens and bathrooms” of these political parties are not CLEANED UP to accomodate these young and unknowing individuals who are about to embark on a life full of intriques and man made mysteries.

thumbnailCA7HXF0I frog

Just ask the wanted ones especially Tengku Razaleigh( WANT )  ( who says that his heart is still with UMNO) Zaid Ibrahim ( NEEDS ) (feels that his platform in UMNO is curbed),Chua Jui Meng ( NEEDS )  ( who leaves MCA after nearly 33 years and joins PKR for another stint to stay relevant)  What about the many thousands of political boys/girls and machais who are USED..? Still confused… Better not be as in politics there are NO POLITICAL PRISONERS and once you become irrelevant you either stay out of it or Get ready to be Guillotined.

Any young soul would want to  know why they are joining politics but usually the ones who brings them in don’t even tell them what the political parties constitution stands for? They sign the application form willingly or unwillingly and that is open to interpretations. Hmmm..This is the line which BN/Pakatan have to address as this proverb “TRUE GOLD FEARS NOT THE TEST OF FIRE” in which the bests will be able to survive while the rests will be thrown into scrapheap and left to rot.

The boat (parties or coalition BN/Pakatan) in which the political members who make the boat must be willing partners in the same boat rowing against the current and tide and every able person must pull the oars to move the boat forward. If there is a snowball effect it will only be too destructive to save and as usual we must have a check and balance system.

We are already within reach of 2020 a developed nation for our country and as such we know that with success often breeds failure because it makes you arrogant, complacent and, therefore you will ultimatedly lower your guard. Our young malaysian political upstarts needs to nurtured to be wanted and needed and not discrded after being used. This is the failure for our poltical system and it goes without saying to some,” ONLY THE BESTS WILL SURVIVE”

My friends please  look into the mirror every morning and tell that to me or to your close ones that you deserve better or is better than what makes you that special to lead the country or give your “WANTED AND NEEDED” service to help the rakyat of the country.

voters

The voters will know now and there are no more hiding places for those who thrive on POLITICAL ILLUSIONS to stay afloat in the coming political avalanche.

It goes without saying,”It is only reserved for the bests and those who aspire and willing to work hard. ” BN/Pakatan don’t fool yourselves anymore as with a flick of the pen/pencil you will be Ooooooooout..……and  Removed from your Constituency.

‘Cawat” Issue..Stay Clear Wanita’s??

Updated 28th July :- Sms sent to Secretary General of PRS– Wilfred Nissom.Thank God and Glad there is no burning of PAS Flags. We are better than that.

Updated 28th July 9.30am- Headlines “Gathering to burn PAS flags put off, says PRS man. The full story can be seen in Todays Borneo Post Article page 12. Was this our timely intervention with our article and thus someone politically connected with the Prime Minister’s department raised the ALARM BELLS. Thank God or else all Hell would have broken loose.

Last Friday before I posted the article on ” Wanita PKR Sarawak- A New Dawn” I asked PRS Batu Lintang Wanita Chief and Treasurer are they ready if chosen at an instant to stand for the coming elections. Of course, they said we are in politics not only to serve and fight for the party but also groomed to take over. In my article I mentioned ,” PRS has yet to field any wanita candidate but it is speculated by PRS members that the current Wanita chief Doris Brodie is being groomed to be a candidate. How ironic it is today she seems to grab the headlines and suddenly appears? Something is brewing and are they any connections to the New Dawn?

This is what she said in the Sunday Borneo Posts,’

Expressing anger over Hadi’s remarks about Batang Ai voters recently, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) women chief Doris Sophia Brodie said yesterday the remarks reflected the type of leaders PAS and PR have.

“Obviously, PAS and Pakatan are not ethnic-sensitive, thus they can forget about making their existence felt in Sarawak especially in Dayak dominant areas. On top of that, it is such remarks that stir racial tension,” she said.

“I think what Hadi said should hit the nail squarely for Dayak opposition leaders. Clearly, Pakatan and PAS do not have them or the Dayak at heart, to them the Dayaks are just to make the numbers and their laughing stock.

In this respect, she said the PRS women of Batang Ai, Simanggang and Bukit Begunan divisions would come out in full force to support PRS Batang Ai youth in its plan to burn PAS flags in Engkilili town todayk.

We are at bests trying to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS ISSUE AS POSSIBLE. However,we know that a fire would not have started  if the sparks are not lighted.Sarawak Wanita Chiefs from PKR/DAP/PAS/SNAP should not only stay silent on this issue as the Wanita Chief from PRS  has already lashed out. Recently joined PKR former MCA leader Chua Jui Meng would be telling you all,” A Politician is not a Politician if she/he keeps quiet.”

We received a number of smses but this from a senior a dayak leader and a former high ranking civil officer which will be open to your interpretations ,”Mrng bro.what Hadi meant was, dyks hv cawat political mentality.f u say dyks r well clothed 2 refer 2 hadi’s statement, once again hadi n d rest will laugh at n deride even phd educated dyk pol leaders ENDA NEMU RETI JAKO SINDIR”

Burning FLAGS please, please, please I don’t buy that. It’s like Hooliganism in football where rival Fans taunt each other by burning flags on the terraces. Who has come out with this idea.? This is POLITICS AND NOT FOOTBALL.The person who has even initiated this idea let alone carry it out should be TAKEN AWAY and PUT IN JAIL AS THIS IS NOTORIOUSLY EVIL THOUGHT.

audie61 seriously take this as an attempt to instigate a TRULY EXPLOSIVE situation. It’s uncalled for even by PRS Batang Ai Youth. PM ‘s department and the authorities concerned should seriously look into this very  MINDLESS AND THOUGHTLESS  POLITICAL ACT.

IN Malaysia we have enough problems with death and we do not need our political strategists from any political party be it BN/PAKATAN to even think of this. This will eventually lead to  even worse scenario. It only takes someone to singlehandedly take it a step higher,”TORCH PAS HEADQUARTERS” Then what will happen?

PM Najib we do not need to be reminded of the Brixton,Guildford,Manchester nor Liverpool riots where cities just burn through the night for seven to ten nights in the 80’s. (150 buildings damaged,30 burned down)

We say as always,”Politics is politics, but do not take it overboard and it will turn ugly and the whole country suffers. The country is already suffering economically and we do not need another FLAG BURNING THOUGHT to aggravate the precarious and fluid political situation.

“Wanita PKR Sarawak A New Dawn”

Your Vote Counts!

The State elections for Sarawak is not due till 2011 but the Pakatan Sarawak machinery is well underway with discussions amongst the opposition component parties in reaching a common ground. Wanita PKR Sarawak had their meeting in the evening and they were also caught up in the “frenzy” of the state elections. The mainstream media /internet portal malaysiakini covered the first “fruitful” meeting between the leaders of DAP/PKR.

According to sources it was the first “official” meeting and in subsequent meetings Sarawak PAS and SNAP leaders will not be left out. Of course the main issue remains,” Straight Fight against BN Sarawak” where all parties will agree on a single candidate from Pakatan against BN. Great says PKR Wanita Exco Voon S.N  ( lawyer by profession)

She gave her views when interviewed by audie61 on the current allocation of seats amongst the Pakatan group. They will be intense lobbying of course she says as most “eligible and aspiring” candidates lobbyists will be trying to push for their own. It will be no different for Wanita PKR she says.

“Don’t get me wrong,I am not pushing for myself” DAP has Violet and Ting as candidates and they pulled through. Of course  PKR Wanita Sarawak would be grateful if at least 2 or more of our capable/winnable Wanita candidates are considered. We will try to push for the national quota but we have to face the realities  that we will be facing the “might of BN”

Unless we are given that platform we will not be certain that we will not win. We will not go into a battle that we will not win she says. It must be noted too that at least 50% of the voters in some constituencies are women folks and with the current political situation in the country, anything can happen we obviously will stand a chance,”Don’t you think so audie61 she asks?”

We just nodded and we got in touch with a number of BN Wanita members who said,”we will not underestimate the might of our enemies and we will ensure that they will not have it easy.” Are they going to do battle with our BN Wanita YBS at their constituencies.?”

Its only PBB,SPDP who are the current YBs. SUPP fielded Lily Yong and she was defeated by PKR Dominique Ng who was the first PKR State YB for the country. PRS has yet to field any wanita candidate but it is speculated by PRS members that the current Wanita chief Doris Brodie is being groomed to be a candidate.

d34b9f9cbce9bf7a77351a80c6a43738

Will it be a New Dawn for Wanita PKR Sarawak? This question will only be answered if the national and state leaders in PKR gives them just that “flicker of hope” and a CHANGE for Sarawak. Another PKR lady member Rosie said,’ In politics there is always a chance. Times have changed and BN will need to work doubly hard to face us.It’s all calm now.Don’t you feel it?”

Of course she was saying,”There is a storm coming and BN be ready or else you will be swept away.

20081215_aliran_ambanner

We say as always,”There will not be any stones unturned as all political parties head towards the 2011 State elections. Will we see PKR wanita candidates..Im sure Dr.Wan Azizah PKR President would give them her stamp of approval..

N29 Batang Ai To win: “Women Voters Crucial”

The phrase ‘ Women’s instinct ” must not be discarded in this byelection campaign. Womenfolks make up around 45% of the total votes in Batang Ai and they are placed of utmost importance says both sides of the political divide.

PKR and BN wanita movements have started their programmes to coax and to ensure that the votes are secured. The women folks in the Batang Ai longhouses practically live a very simple life tendering to their families needs. They are not really concerned about what really is happening politically outside their longhouse boundaries.

The women wings of both the parties will use all their women persuasive powers and not forgetting their instincts. Surely if $$$$$ are offered as assistance it will come in  handy though it might just be a temporary relief for their basic needs. In any elections there will be talks of “MONEY POLITICS” “BUYING VOTES” plus all the  usual niceties that comes along with MONEY.

Nobody will come out be it BN or PKR dare to declare that we DID NOT USE ANY MONEY IN THIS RURAL CONSTITUENCY.  Women folks play such a significant role in this rural remote area and their votes will also determine in the final analysis who wins. To forget the women voters the candidates are doing so at their own peril.

The candidates wife would be another crucial factor in N29 and we all  know too well that,”Behind every successful man……………” Do I need to finish the sentence and say some more..!!!

We say as always,” Never ever underestimate ” WOMEN’S INSTINCT” they will make or always break many a GOOD MAN…hik hik hik
