11 to 13 Pakatan Sarawak To Win…

My personal observation is that we (Pakatan Rakyat) can win 11  seats, or even up to 13 seats if the message goes to the ground.  Anything beyond that is a bonus,” Sarawak PKR chief Baru Bian told a  press conference today.

This is the full article which we extract:- (click to see-http://malaysia-today.net/mtcolumns/newscommentaries/54592-sarawak-pakatan-confident-of-winning-13-parliamentary-seats

On February16th 2013 we posted up this:-https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/02/16/pakatanbn-both-at-145-only/and in the figures shown PR Sarawak would win 16 out of 15.

Many political observers are putting it conservatively at 8 seats losts for BN out of 31 and they have marked SUPP as the biggest losers with 5 out of 7, SPDP 1 PRS 1 and PBB 1. Pakatan Rakyat Sarawak have been spelling doom to BN eversince they won 15 out of 71 seats contested in the last state elections. Their confidence are sky high as PR have targetted Sarawak,Sabah and Johor as the deciding factor to wrestle Putrajaya from BN.

BN Sarawak knows now that the PR is targetting 11 to 16 and it certainly will be a fiercely fought battle at some of the greyish/black areas for BN.

Below are the current parliamentarians from Sarawak.

“48 years …..??”

No one can write this script. One involves CM Taib and the other Switzerland. The Football commentor had all the cheek in the world to say,”Spain needs to teach Switzerland how to play Football” Ooops.. when it was goalless.THE LESSON FROM SPAIN..Its like this “Switzerland..This Round ” THING ” is what we call Football.Pass it around beautifully, you only need to put the ball in between the posts and  score and you win. Spain OMG…??

CM Taib after 48 years at the helm informed everyone that.” The State elections will be held on a Saturday” It seems most political observers will be counting how many ‘Saturdays” to come. Could it be the first Saturday of the English Premier League which will be the 14th of August. Hari Raya will be on September 10th 2010. However Feng Shui Experts seems to say that 10/10/10 a Sunday is an auspicious day. Whatever it is 48 years of being in politics he knows more than a thing or two and he will choose the day and no one else. “SATURDAY…hik hik hik”

Switzerland (150-1) after 48 years taught Spain( 7/2) how to put the ball in the net. Spain was a delight to watch but especially frustrating where it matters mosts . Switzerland created the headlines and will present a paper to Spain,” How not to underestimate your opponents..?”

CM Taib has not underestimated the opposition all this while and he knows any wrong move and overcomplacency will see an end to his reign of 48 years. BN has a number of sticky issues to overcome and the window is closing fasts to call the State elections before May 2011.

The differance between 48 years Experience in politics and football are goalposts apart. CM Taib is still the main player while the Switzerland Team is new, young and fresh faced. What has worked for Switzerland as it shocked Spain 1-0 will not work in determining the end result of Sarawak Elections. That was just one game while the Sarawak elections there are 71 games.

These 71 State seats will hold the finals and the PEOPLE will determine the result. Now the aspiring 71 candidates from both political divide needs to impress that they are capable and not be shamed and shocked when the votes are counted.

48 years in Politics is a mean achievement…..

If you are not having the FEVER when it kicks off in 2 days time we do not know what else excites you. Wah.!!Even my nephew said,

“ITS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH”

Malaysia B.S.”Reality Sucks..!!”

Many would take the acronym of B.S.literally.However in this context we take it as Malaysia-Betting and Subsidies. There has been so much protests and anger from all walks of life  pertaining to these two” BIG ONES

Either one could see the beginning of an end to the ruling government in any other country except in Malaysia.

The prophesy of R.A.H.M.A.N. was also received through an email to audie61 plus a hosts of other emails and smses. One of them included that Idris Jala should go back to his corporate life instead of mixing politics and economics just to blind the people.

How can Malaysia be a developed nation by 2020 when our Minister In PM’s department says,”WE will be BANKRUPT by 2019..??”This shocking declaration goes against the grain of past announcements of economic health and growth.

Does this make sense..?? Has he given the death kneel to the BN government and read the last rites..?? He is obviously not a politician and he should not be in the PMs department as he has drove FEAR INTO EVERY WALKING AND LIVING MALAYSIANS.” Of course we know very well that the TRUTH HURTS and REALITY SUCKS.

Even a staunch BN supporter was feeling aggrieved not only with the subsidies but also the betting issue. This is truly giving the Opposition an extra card and a GOLDEN JOKER to push the BN to the brink of surrendering.

We have to contain with the Betting issue and the Football licensing given to the Berjaya Group. The truth of the matter is that Islam together with other religions forbids gambling and here we are Malaysia an Islamic country giving away a football betting license where even China,Thailand and Vietnam doesnt issue such licenses. Where is the logic..?? Please for goodness sake, do not compare with Singapore as it is an Advanced nation already.

Do they care about the Barisan National Government?

http://www.malaysiakini.tv/video/19405/thousands-rally-against-sports-betting.html

They only care for the short term profits and if BN falls they will already make their billions and even moved on to another country. Is it fair for the rests of the country?

Your God Given Conscience will even make you come out to protests on the street if the law allows you to do conduct a PEACEFUL PROTESTS.

These companies only care for their own BARISAN POCKETS and not Barisan National as a whole.

The cut in subsidies to save RM103 billiuon in 5 years is a noble idea but surely it is in the ruling Governments Hands to deliberate such measures before making it public. Would Foreign Investments jump the queue to Malaysia when there is a Statement of Malaysia going to be Bankrupt by 2019. REALITY SUCKS but it is absolutely bad economic publicity for the country. This could also go down as one of the worst calls the ruling BN government has ever made.

Now it so much easier for the Opposition to engage and get to the people and voters. Just an example would be,”TIME TO CHANGE THIS GOVERNMENT BEFORE YOU AND ME AND THE COUNTRY GOES BANKRUPT” and also “GAMBLING IS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM

These captions posted and distributed everyway will be so much a problem for the BN grassroots/echelon leaders to address. Its a good 50%/50% left or right swing depending on the mindset of the people. The People Power will be too strong for even the BN machinery to overcome and it will play right into the arms of the Pakatan.

Reality Sucks and the present BN Government must be able to look at ways to overcome these hurdles. There are so many ways to put the country back to its glory days when everyone was going about doing their own business and minding politics. BN must get the FEEL GOOD FACTOR back before they look at short term gains to bail the country out the DOLDRUMS.

The people will surely have their final say in the ballot boxes come GE13. Honestly,it will take a herculean tasks for the present BN government to be still in power if the issues at hand are not strategically dealt with.

The signs are already bad as it is and the RURAL folks are the first to suffer if the oil prices continue to rise. Food and commodities prices hardly comes down when it goes up and the ordinary middle class citizens will have to bear the consequences. Football betting will hit hard on many families as compulsive gambling and losses will surely give rise to more unwanted and unnecessary crimes.

Pakatan will exploit it to the fullest on these two BIG ISSUES and its already up to the BN Government to stamp it out or COOL MATTERS DOWN by informing the MALAYSIAN PUBLIC that the country will not go BANKRUPT by 2019 and also that the Football betting license has been revoked. The BN Government will be rests assured that it will not face a greater tsunami than 308 if all other pressing issues besides these two BIG ONES are carefully and meticulously looked into.

If not the whole country will say back to BN..REALITY SUCKS……………

Football 39 Years “There are Back”

Blackpool 9 years ago was on the brink to drop out of the Football League. Now they are back in the Land of ‘Milk and Honey” the Premier League. Cardiff City was expected to join West Bromwich and Newcastle into the Promised Land but at Wembley it did not happen. Ian Hollaway the Blackpool Manager outwitted Dave Jones Cardiff Manager with his teams enthusiasm and never say die attitude even though they were twice behind.

Cardiff City has been in the the news as a consortium from Malaysia has bought into the shares of the club and expected them to be in the Premiership. Extracted statement,” Vincent Tan and his group’s recent purchase of a controlling stake in Cardiff City (by the way, Cardiff City is in the playoff for the Premier League) … and all of a sudden,The potential upside to a Cardiff City promotion is tremendous. It’s not going to be taps that we are going to open, it’s going to be floodgates .”

However it turned out to be a momentous day for Blackpool and we saw a scintillating game and a dramatic game with 5 goals in the first half. Blakcpool won 3-2 and many congratulations to them.

The consortium will need to bear with Championship Football for another season or more as Cardiff City will do well to even come as close as to even sniff Wembley turf. It gets even harder as there are always an “Indian Sign” hanging over the Wembley Play-off Losers.

It isn’t always rosy for any company to take over a football club riddled with debts eventhough the facilities are all  first class. The structure might be in place but Cardiff will need more than a miracle worker or consortium to make her dream of Premiership Football alive. Back door through Football bookies or betting syndicates could just be an answer.Hmmm.

But British Football will not easily fall prey to what happened to Malaysian Football at its pinnaclein the 90’s. Whoever thinks that football is short term fast gains better just use their money some where else where it could generate faster gains.

The recent headline news of “Sports Betting License Approval” by the Malaysian Government was also to assist the consortium to advertise the company responsible as millions usually tune in every weekend to follow the Premeirship. This indeed is a Dampener and ‘Bad News” as far as Advertising Action Plans goes. However to the opposition voices in the legalised betting saga this Blackpool Win is a Blessing in disguise.

Blackpool for 39 years have lived their dream and today they have not only joined the Big Boys but the Reality is that they are Back to where they should be. The whole town and the community will welcome the Chelseas,MUs,Arsenals and Liverpools to Bloomfield Road (home ground) and they will  enjoy every minute of it in the 2010-2011 season.

Cardiff City and the new partners so near and yet so far. They had expected a 90 Million Pounds Windfall by going to the Premiership but Blackpool Won on the Day……

“Sarawak 2 Gone ,1 Other Going…??”

Joey received an sms from a source who works as an advertising accounts executive,”Very soon Sarawak Opposition Legislators will be on the plane to South Africa for the Football World Cup. YB Dominique has tried going into the DUN by road and river but it seems the DAP YBs would fly to South Africa before the BN YBs. Sarawak DUN finishes on May 26th 2010. You know what the 3 YBs should do…??”

Joey replied “thank you for info..and have you got any message to them .??” The source replied,”Sure, tell them to tell their counterparts in South Africa of their mistreatment and stop the BN Ybs from entering South Africa. That will be FAIR as FIFA practises FAIR PLAY…hehehe

The whole episode can be read here as we have copied from an internet portal for your easy reading. So who else will be joining these 3 on a trip to the World Cup 2010..??

Maradong state assemblyperson from DAP Ting Tze Fui is now a step closer to facing suspension over remarks she made to the House last November.

NONEThe state assembly has passed a motion this morning to refer Ting (right) to the state legislative assembly rights and privileges committee, where she will face possible censure.

In the motion filed by SUPP deputy secretary-general Wong Soon Koh, he recommended for Ting to face the committee, and was passed by the House in a vote of 59 to four.

Pakatan has seven assemblymen in the house, including six from DAP and one from PKR.

Chong Jen Jien (DAP-Kota Sentosa) and Dominique Ng (PKR-Padungan) were both suspended on Tuesday, while Opposition leader Wong Ho Leng (DAP-Bukit Assek) could not vote due to a “technical problem”.

The five-member committee, all of whom are BN representatives, will now haul Ting for a hearing before making recommendations to the Speaker, which almost certainly would result in a suspension.

‘Unfair and undemocratic’

When contacted, Ting described the move as “unfair” and “undemocratic”.

“No matter what we say, BN will still find ways to suspend us,” she said, adding that her fate was almost sealed.

Although close to facing suspension, Ting says that she is not disappointed, instead urged the Sarawak voters to vote in more Pakatan representatives in the state assembly for a stronger “opposition voice”.

Ting had raised the ire of the state government after accusing them of misappropriating public funds during the debate on the state budget last November.

Soon Koh, who is also the Sibu SUPP chief, had threatened on Tuesday to file the motion, despite Ting producing a newspaper cutting headlined “Billions siphoned – Sarawak government stepped in” to substantiate her claims.

BN’s vengeance

If Ting is suspended, she will be the third Pakatan representative following Chong and Ng, to face censure since the Sibu by-election last weekend in which DAP managed to wrest the seat previously thought to be a BN stronghold.

Suspension from the legislative assembly appears to be a common tool for the state government. Ho Leng, who was newly crowned as Sibu MP, himself was suspended last year for 12 months. The suspension expired on May 13.

Meanwhile, Ng who was served with a suspension of 12 months on Tuesday, is complaining that the state government was barring him from entering the public gallery of the House.

In a statement, he said that the state secretary also refused to give him the order paper, saying that he has no right to be within the compound of the state legislative assembly.

“I want to know what my rights are during suspension,” he said.

The order paper is usually a public document which can be obtained by anyone. The parliament’s order paper for example, can be downloaded off the Internet..

P212 “Handicap Odds For Sibu”

azlanHere We go! Here We go! Here We go!

These Familiar football chants from the terraces of any football matches has certainly caught on with the World Cup fever in June. Legalise Football betting in Malaysia Wow! That will hit many other punters instead of curbing syndicated betting crime.

But before that there is the Sibu P212 by elections where a lot of $$$$$$ will be exchanged especially in determining the result of the polls. If we can legalise football betting why not election betting..? In actual fact any form of betting is a Disruption and Contamination to the Flow of Nature

This statement by Sibu District Police Chief ACP Shafie Ismail,”We are doing this because we want to ensure that the by election is crime free” when the Headlines appeared in teh STAR Sarawak edition “BETTORS BEWARE

Natasha and Joey of  audie61 made a few phone calls to certain known sources who has links to the underworld betting syndicates and the word is that the bookies are ready to accept bets and even before nomination which is tomorrow 8th May 2010 the odds are already known.

Its BN giving 2000 headstart with those taking DAP/PR winning 85 cents. Taking BN will receive full $ and loses will be at 95cents. In the report published on May4th in the Star a team of CID officers had been deployed to Sibu for the byelection to keep an eye for such activities as they are also linked to gangsterism.CID officers are also working together with Special branch to gather information on such activities.

Both SUPP and DAP condemn election betting but both want to see more done by the police to ensure a good clean fight. In 1982 it was believed that the former SUPP President  Wong Soon Kai losts the elections in Sibu due to massive betting and odds offered which resulted in the end of his political career.

So are we legalising ELECTION betting ….???

“Lim and Khalid Smoking…”

It was well past two thirty in the morning when I put my head on my pillow to catch up with some much needed sleep. I was watching a spirited Chelsea team oozing with confidence and making the young Arsenal team eat “humble pie” The British media has even suggested that with John Terrys frame of mind it will no doubt that conclusively  “Arsenal will tame the Lions at their own Den” Result 2-0. Chelseas teamspirit and confidence very much intact.

Well. it was a good game and I said my night prayers to thank the almighty one for giving me “A Blessed Day” and said “See You in the morning.” This I have been saying for the past 40 years or more. Even the “cicak‘ (LIZARD) concurred with me when I typed this very sentence.

Believe it or not…..One should be dreaming rightly so FOOTBALL..It turned out that just before I woke up around 7.45 am of all the people one could dream of are Two Chief Ministers of their respective states. Both of them are and have been  seriously under heavy attack by the BN who are opposition at both these states.

Lim Guan Eng of DAP helms Penang while Khalid of PKR holds Selangor. The BN leaders of both these states Koh Tsu Koon (Gerakan)and Khir Toyo(UMNO) losts these two BN states in the lasts GE.

The drama unfolds….”Both of them were in at the corridor of the Penang State legislative council having a chit chat and smoking away next to the standing aluminium ashtray. I turned round and said to GUAN ENG,”Releasing tension kah..?” He shook my hands and said ‘How did you manage to get in with justs a singlet and short pants and not properly attired’ I said your bodyguard which happens to be my former classmate in fifth grade by the name of Ho Sia said no problem,”Kaki Lang.Ka Ee Kong Too Ho.”

Which is  Chinese Hockien  language and it means,” No bother just tell him.” Maybe the dream is a signal for me to write something about all these hurling of abuses especially from their own coalition members. In recent weeks PKR Zahrain Mohamad Hashim (Bayan Baru) and PKR Tan Tee Beng (Nibong Tebal), have been both at loggerheads with DAP secretary-general and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

It is no doubt a smear campaign but are they any truths in so far as why it is so open? Is there something not too right with Lim Guan Engs adminstration? Is Khalid helping out another fellow Chief Minister by meeting him, discussing on behalf of PKR and smoking away?

Well, I got right to business and told Guan Eng,”See you so fasts tell me what I can and not wear while you dont even give me a chance to explain. If Mahatma Gandhi had walked in there will be fanfare right. How judgemental can one get so quickly?

In other words its open to interpretations what the media/BN strategists and spin doctors are up to. Sitting at the ‘holy grail’   of the  two states is no laughing matter and these two CMs better get used to it. Many before them has tasted the bitter sweet of sitting on the top where very often its a lonely appointment. The mosts important of it all is to defend it at all costs. Chelsea did very well in the scond half with all their might and know how.

As the wise remarks of Sun Tzu(in the Art of War puts it…,”That it would be better to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy’s not coming ,but on our own readiness to recieve him:not on the chance of hisn ot attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our own position UNASSAILABLE.”

BN is the opposition in both these states so I told Khalid and Guan Eng,”Do you honestly think that they will let you take over and rule so easily…?”Both of you have to stamp your own political presence. It is very easy to admire on the victory but when things start to go wrong unknowingly it will cause more than a toothache. The people are the masters and not the YBs or MPs who rant and shout their voices to earn political mileage…(Time to wake up 7.46 am..Oh…)

Similarly I would also say to Taib or Musa if called upon….wonder when its their turn for me to visit…………………….

DAP N11 Voon..”A Footballer”

A political watcher sent an sms to Natasha of audie61,”Whats wrong with DAP N11 Voon Lee Shan.? He seems to be in a lot of bother lately and judging from what is written in his blog. Absolutely he is now been sent to substitutes bench. Want to know more click HERE to his blog.

We blogged the DAP Sarawak “Storm Warriors” on December 4th 2009 and it seems like every good footballer his days are NUMBERED and like this song sang by the football Fans”You’re not Famous anymore” Have you YB Voon got the hint from the powerful Sarawak DAP Bureau.?? Your contracts up and its time to move on. { Extracted from YB Voons blog;-Like a footballer, I only could play in certain positions, but, not all positions

“Would you like a Cup of Cappucino…?”

It’s very British if you say,” Let’s have tea..” Suddenly it seems the shores of England Cappucino is the favoured drink in the afternoon. How times have changed and how the connections and flavours have taken off. Has the Serie A losts its sting to the English PremierLeague. Wow! It’s an influx of Who’s Who in Italian Football heading to the British Isles.

Heading the lists of Italians landing the top football Management posts are Fabio Capello (England) Gianfranco Zola( West Ham) Carlo Ancelotti( Chelsea) and now Manchester City has added Roberto Mancini to the lists.

The recent upsurge of Italians to the Managers seat comes after the 1st revolution of Italian football superstars to play in the English Premier League.  Top Football Managers in EPL in the last twenty years has been dominated by Alex Ferguson (Scottish) Kenny Dalgish (Scottish) George Graham(Scottish) Aresen Wenger(French).

Now  it seems that Fabio Capello would have three of his countryman helping him to chart  Englands World Cup Dreams  in Next Years World Cup in South Africa. The English are ready to pick up this new trend of having a cup of cappucino plus having lasagna, pizza nd sphagetti to achieve their World Cup Dream.

Times have changed eversince the days when I was a first year student in the UK when the landlady said to me in the afternoons,”Lets have Tea..” Are you ready for the Change and Move  on to Cappucino…hmmm hik hik hik….??
