SUPP all Set to “Wrestle P196 Stampin” from DAP in GE14

19990596_1561099923942532_6405914575135937879_nThe impossible seems now more probable as Minister in Prime Minister’s Deparment Nancy Shukri has found the “formula”

She will not be disclosing it publicly of course but apparently it has already send ‘some shivers‘ down the spine of DAP Leader and now only Sarawakian in Pakatan Harapan Vice President Chong Chieng Jen. Talks within DAP circles there is already a probability that a new face is to replace the incumbent DAP. What is the reason? Nancy would not have just made this statement if she has not been briefed in detail.

It does seem though, that with Batu Kawah and Batu Kitang already in the bag for BN after the winning in the last State Elections attention is now focussed on STAMPIN PARLIAMENTARY SEAT.

From 1999 to 2013 it was a seat for BN/SUPP  Yong Khoon Seng who won by majority of 8897 ( in 1999) 7731  ( in 2004 ) 3070 ( in 2008 ) and losts it to DAP  Julian Tan Kok Ping by 18670

The SUPP candidate hopefuls have been working the ground and with the President of SUPP and the Padawan Council Chairman as Assemblyman in Batu Kawah and Batu Kitang respectively there is much enthusiasm and in reality wrestling this seat back from DAP is within reach.

WHO WILL BE THE LIKELIEST BN/SUPP candidate? Surely, the Barisan Nasional leaders will scrutinise all potential candidates in order to regain back P196 STAMPIN.

DAP Violet “Oh Please … Flood”

adap violetIf the Sarawak State Government have not done anything or lifted a finger DAP Pending Assemblyman have every right to issue the statement above. The last few days 18th to 21st February 2016 the amount of rain that has fallen in the Kuching Division even the best drainage system will not be able to contain the gallons of water the rain brought .

The rain waters came down “mercilessly” and the DID  engineers had their hands full. The operations centre was “bombarded’ with calls of help and all relevant government departments were working overtime.

During times like these we do hope that COMMON SENSE prevails instead of politicising this matter. Kuchingnites and for that matter Sarawakians are appalled by this statement attached. (Surely, soon we will be hearing that its not my statement and my FB was hacked)

Ohhhhh Gosh!!!

Adenan Are We Missing Something?

asupppCM Adenan have already called both parties to sort out their differences?Who and Which party is now trying to play the “good guy” and the “bad guy”?Truth be told says a political analyst the Rakyat will still turn their backs on them as both are still at each other throat’s and its a”Never Ending Battle”.

The Rakyat have taken to Adenan’s style and approach in terms of his way of governance and no nonsense approach on state matters. He have won many fence sitters to believe in his ways but it does seem for his popularity to turn to votes for both the parties it will still be a herculean tasks.

As a blogger Bugi Wijaya puts it.”We are the New Media truthtellers” We are not for the money but we have what it takes to full blown the story or facts just for everyone to see. Believe it or not and if its good enough it will sell.” https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/08/11/bloggerstruthtellersbloodsuckers-or-shit-stirrers-part-1/

Adenan, we know we are not missing anything but the two rival factions within the BN stable are. You don’t need a Harvard or an Oxford Political Scientist to tell you ,Sir…!!! The Truth hurts…

Loyalty.”No substitute”

a1a2a1When the chips are down your true friends will stick together with and by you. When good times roll the friends who are now enjoying the fruits of your labour will be dealt a BAD HAND in time to come if they conveniently forgets you.

Whatever comes around will go around and that is the basic understanding of how karma, the law of cause and effect, works.

My friends become your friends and your friends too will back stab you. An enemy will never even get near you.

There is still a flicker of hope and this is dedicated to the friends who have betrayed my trusts. BEWARE YOUR TIME WILL COME.

DAP 30 years Too Late..??

mawan63DAP who have been trying to wrestle the urban seats are now turning their guns towards 21 rural seats currently held by BN Sarawak. At the Impian Sarawak Dinner IN PJ Selangor one of the 25 volunteers even came out with a Pantun and said,”Susah susah saya buat Paip di Sarawak Ini semua Pasal Taib”

Why are they attacking the Chief Minister who all these while have talked about Politics of Development?

DAP must be “INPAIN” and not “IMPIAN” seeing their Pakatan partners in PAS and PKR not making much inroad in their quest to capture Sarawak from the Barisan Nasional Government. Now they are trying to capitalise on Volunteers and bringing in the “freshies” whose political ideologies are not so deep rooted and also not seeing that DAP is capitalising on them to spread the “WRONG MESSAGE” back to Peninsular Malaysia.

Development takes time and if the urban areas are not progressing how will it filter down to the rural enclaves? Sarawak is so huge and can fit the whole Peninsular into it and these young Volunteers who are brought down to CAPITALISE ON DAPS QUEST FOR ABSOLUTE POLITICAL POWER should not just be blinded by one such “pipe laying project”

If the 25 volunteers think they love Sarawak why don’t they stay down here in Sarawak for 6 months.  Dont go back to your nice pillows and bed and your city life? DAP is trying to “SOW HATRED” to the Taib administration and this is not healthy. Sorry young “freshies” you have been led astray.

DAP should have done this 30 years ago. We wrote about 4 years ago on one dayak DAP Bidayuh leader Jeguk who was very vocal and now he has even realised that BN is the platform where his people will enjoy the benefits. DAP will say this next “ALL BOUGHT BACK BY BN GOVERMENT” Typical of DAP isn’t it?

The DAP Dayak leaders who are speaking against the BN government are at one time also leaders in the BN component parties. They did not do enough on their part during their time and are now using DAP to further their agendas.

A PKR veteran leader when met said,” DAP are capitalising on the weaknesses of our PKR Sarawak leaders. PKR Sarawak are too weak and they will give away another at least 15 constituencies to DAP to contest. You see it will happen in the next State Elections. Moreover he said,” PKR have losts mosts of their outspoken dayak leaders to DAP”

Surely now the PKR YBs 3 of them will know that their rural constituencies will be swallowed up by the DAP Sarawak “Impian group” Do they have anysay or are they saying anything? You wish they will come out fighting but they have been very quiet on this matter. When someone tried to break the good relations of SPDP/PBB in an article which appeared in an internet portal PBB Information Chief Adenan Satem comes out with a strong worded statement,”BOND UNBREAKABLE BETWEEN SPDP AND PBB

PKR AND DAP WILL SURELY BE AT LOGGERHEADS DON’T YOU THINK? 18 PKR seats will be sacrificed…..hmmmm

Lim Kit Siang Leaving.??

Lim Kit Siang DAP Supremo seems to have forgotten a “Golden Rule” look at yourself first before you talk about others. He can rant, condemn and tell the whole of Malaysia that Taib should keep his part of the deal to step down by midterm but what about he HIMSELF.

Hasn’t he been part of the Malaysian bookshelf for a good 40 years or more as he first won as an MP in 1969 in Bandar Melaka Constituency. Age too is not on his side and he has already succeeded in making his son the Chief Minister of Penang.

WHY DONT HE JUST SAY TO CM TAIB,”LETS RETIRE TOGETHER

Surely,Lim Kit Siang knows that he like many veteran opposition leaders feels that Putrajaya is within their reach and its unfinished business. If they signal that their time is up they will miss the GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY. We shall see wouldn’t we and the GE13 is not too far away.

Taib too have a final hand to play in GE13 and Kit Siang knows unless the grandmaster of Sarawak politics is no more ,winning Sarawak State is still an impossible dream.

The person who takes over from Taib will not be able to control and dictate by just the looks of the eyes. The successor will have a large shoe to fit and the opposition will have more leverage.

The same will happen too for DAP when Lim Kit Siang calls it a day.

The article which appeared in the internet portal:-Looks like Taib is here to stay.

About a year and a half ago, tensions between Kuching and Putrajaya rose when there was a debate on when Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud should step down.

Worried that Taib’s 30-year rule of Sarawak would sour BN’s chances in the April 2011 Sarawak state election, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak crisscrossed the state, promising that Taib would step down soon.

As the heat poured on, Taib declared that he would step down in “two years” midway through the campaign, only to say ambiguously he would step down “mid-term” after it was clear that he had won the election convincingly.

However, all this talk of Taib stepping down in “two years” – which would mean April next year – appear to have all come to naught based on the speeches of Najib and Taib last Sunday.

In a press release today, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang pointed out that the duo seemed to be complementing each other on stage during the national-level Malaysia Day celebration in Bintulu.

Najib praised the cooperation and support of Taib administration’s for the federal government, while Taib praised the premier and alluded that his administration cannot be replaced by a “political newcomer”.

These on-stage theatrics did not impress Lim, who described it as a public “love fest”.

“But what the Najib-Taib ‘love fest’ in Bintulu camouflaged was the clear victory hands-down by Taib in the political tug-of-war with Najib.

“The reason is also very simple and straightforward – the tables have been turned, with Taib now having more political leverage vis-à-vis Najib instead of the other way round 18 months ago before the state election,” said Lim.

DAP “We want Your Votes Sarawakians..!!”

It’s not even Election Campaigning period yet and still there was a Ceramah At BDC Kuching, Sarawak where Kuchingnites turned out in droves to listen to DAP SG and Chief Minister of Penang Lim Guan Eng.

It has become a norm where mosts opposition events, rallies and ceramahs where the interests is growing and sometimes thousands turn up just to be seen and listen. LGE broke the ice when he said ‘when MP Chong Invited him to Kuching for a ceramah he jockingly said to Chong in Hockien{ A Boh,Bo Lang Lai } Can or not no one will turn up

Who will want to listen to me? At that instant he said,’Wah! This morning at the MBKS Community Programme 2012 themed “My City,My Home” at Tabuan Jaya he was told by YB Violet that only a handful meaning 1000 turned up to meet CM Taib. He said he is honoured that Kuchingnites and Sarawakians have given him an overwhelming support to turn up tonight for this UBAH Night at BDC and he was told the crowd has swelled to over 5000.

So he said Ah Jin “Chong Chieng Jin must be correct to say people are giving a listening ear to DAP. DAP knows that Stampin Constituency is under SUPP and the incumbent is Yong Khoon Seng but he has already signalled that he is not seeking relection. Chong is eyeing this constituency of 80000 voters and he knows that his Bandar Kuching Seat is a safe seat for a new face in Dr.Tang (his personal assistant)

DAP knows that SUPP 7 parliamentary seats are all up for grabs as the Chinese Community are turning their backs on the party. It is and will be a tough battle for SUPP judging from the turnout at BDC. LGE hit the right chord and many in the crowd were nodding ,clapping as he said he has proven that he has tried to run a state by being Mr.Clean. He mentioned,”The decision is yours to follow and if you want to follow what Penang government has done its your choice in putting the right people in the right place.

HE and DAP are on a crusade and that is getting into the minds of the voters in that,”Pakatan needs Sarawak to give them the votes to form the next Federal Government” LGE has previously targetted 12 seats in Sarawak and he will try to woo the voters by whatever means possible and he judging from the DAP collection boxes and the amount collected at all this well planned and marketed well ceramah SUPP will have problems a plenty.

SUPP will have their own strategies to counter but they need all the help from all the component parties in whatever ways and however ways to ensure that BN Sarawak will still remain a bastion for the coalition. When a former ADUN and an assistant Minister said,”posters and propaganda does not vote” he was proven wrong and he losts miserably.

This day and age with so much advancement in the technological field even the rural voters are becoming voter smart. The urban voters they say cannot be swayed but till now we are not convinced that “its a lost hope”. SUPP needs to work their programmes well and musts be collectively responsible and reach out even to the last minute of the midnight hour to secure that one (1) vote.

DAP are reaching not only the hearts of the urban voters but their propaganda have reached the brains of the voters/sympathisers who will just blah blah out from their mouths”DON”T WASTE YOUR VOTES ON SUPP”

SUPP needs to up their ante and with fresh faces, new ideas, highly motivated team they will give DAP a run for their EGOS and chip away the winning edges from them. The people will know as SUPP will field the potential candidates who will fight for them in Parliament and will ensure that they will be proud to have voted for them.

Not only DAP have calibre candidates but SUPP does have too and they need to be the ones who needs to reach out and convince the voters that they are the one. Nothing comes easy on a platter and SUPP needs to conjure up their resources and ensure their party workers are on the same wave lenght as the candidate themselves.

The team factor will bring them through but all strategies needs to be planned and carried out not mediocre manner but with enthusiasm and giving 100 percent.

Sarawakians will vote wisely and DAP knows that Sarawkians are no fools and they need to also work hard to maintain their 2 seats which are in their hands at the present time. SUPP needs to prove to all the detractors wrong and ensure that they maintain their iron grip on the 7 seats allocated to them by the BN coalition.

It goes without saying that DAP and SUPP will eyeballing each other till the elections are over

“DAP AT WAR WITH PKR Sarawak..??”.

It was supposed to be another normal breakfast gathering with my fellow “political brainstormers” One a former banker cum economic columnists told me the political situation is now so muddy and there are so many issues on both sides of the political divide. Another a chemists said that if the equations are not solve it might explode in front of our faces.

It is no more a clear cut single straight line and we have to tread very carefully. One false allegation, lies or defamation someone would justs make a police report and then we will see each other in court. Its too popular nowadays says our emeritus professor.

They said yesterday you mention in your blog on SPDP Princess in which we extract here”Nansian had refuted a recent statement made by Puteri SPDP Barbara Mawan that there was nothing to rescue as Mas Gading was still with BN.

The SPDP Princess he said mentioned that MAS GADING needs to be rescued. What is there to be rescued? I suggest they rescue the losts seats of Krian an Ba’Kelalan.

Guess what.. today another YB but this time from DAP came out to attack a fellow component ally in PKR Sarawak,”stop daydreaming and also in short stop lobbying which they cannot win without DAP” This was in reference to the lobbying of PKR Stampin for candidacy in GE13.(we will put her quote later..extracted from FaceBook)

Wong Ho Leng can say that he did not say that and we try to spin it (see Borneo Posts page 7 )but he musts have forgotten what was written in the February/March Issue of Rocket. Am pretty sure he has a copy.

Oh Yeah! we bought a copy as your DAP vendor sold it to us and we also found the title quite interesting:-HERE COMES THE FUTURE and also “the young and dangerous” an interview with your supremo Lim Kit Siang. Wong Ho Leng do I need to refresh you?

Lim Kit Siang a veteran politician would not even dare to utter those words”daydreaming, stop lobbying, one have to be sure of oneself and the party

Wah! Wisdom to know which party has better chance to win for PR.

Let us quote to you which is extracted from the interview by Lim Kit Siang in which a reporter asked,”Any pearls of wisdom to share with aspiring politicians?”answer..( They have to have the stamina and perserverance to last the journey;as well as commitment and sincerity in serving the people. It is is a long journey) not edited Wong Ho Leng.

We have interviewed previously Voon Shiak Ni lawyer and Women activists. We know her as a true fighter with zests and enthusiasm and she did not come to the fore in PKR until recently. She is all heart and soul for her boss and she will not waver easily and will be quite straight forward when issues are close to her heart.

PKR Voon and Puteri SPDP Barbara are both Wanitas in their own right and to be attacked in such a manner by both gentleman YBs I should say leaves a lot to be desired. CM Taib as much as many have written bad things about him does come good when he talks about PBB Wanita he does not even rule out new women in the lineup of PBB eventhough they have presently 3 Wanita MPs.

Imagine this” he said we already have 3 what more does the wanitas in PBB want?” Imagine the attacks…

We were caught off guard with this posting in the Facebook and with the Headlines “Support us fully in Stampin,DAP tells PKR Wanita” she has every right to answer:( Our apology to all our other dap comrades for this post – WONG HO LENG as an opposition leader in sarawak should not have belittled the whole PKR women wing in borneo post today. … NO one can deny that its the spirits of Pakatan Rakyat n joint efforts of the coalition of PR that broke the fort of BN in the sibu by election for the first time in history ! Mr wong , pls jaga the imej of PR in sarawak ok)

No political party is free from lobbying and there will be many casulties left fuming plus disappointed but there musts be a sense of respect. No matter who we are, both sides would like to present their bests candidates to be chosen by the people in this GE13.

DAP was suspiciously absent from the Jangan Lawan Tauke forum and we tweeted on April 15th”DAP Swak absence at “jangan lawan tauke forum” a surprise many said as they were instrumental in d FRUSIS ISSUE.” Oops, we attended and sorry to spill the beans….

G5 has been on the attack against the present SPDP leadership and it doesnt look good for BN. PR in Sarawak does not fare too well too with DAP Sarawak Chief Wong and also Vice Chairman Chong in recent weeks attacking PKR Sarawak. It is not boiling over justs yet but it might be another reddened boil about to bursts.(A boil is a localized infection in the skin that generally starts as a reddened, tender area. Over time, the area becomes firm, hard, and tender. Eventually, the center of the boil softens and becomes filled with infection-fighting white blood cells from the bloodstream to eradicate the infection.

This we wrote earlier in reference to the above boil. It did not go down to well with some in PBB and we were made to believe and were even termed in so many words”like an enemy within” Did we make our feelings known? No we swallowed our saliva but we will not want to be a fool to go on a full cyberwar ahead.

Maybe the person in question forgot to read the small prints or we should have headlined it” Simple last night I seem to have been given this tasks through an extraordinary ”dream” that the CM Taib is asking me to give him a helping hand to FREE HIM FROM ALL THE OCTOPUS HANDS that is squeezing the daylights out of him. He looked so innocent but yet his cries of help are justs not answered and someone is controlling him to the maximum.

It was an extraordinary dream and honestly does he think that we are justs making it up to get to PBB? Politicians sometimes do forget where they start and it might justs be timely to remind them,”Don’t BURN THE BRIDGE when you have crossed it”

Our political brainstormers agreed as unanimously that

The mosts common though would be”REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM

PKR Stampin Chief See Chee How gives way…”

Party lines and discipline remains very much in PKR See Chee Hows vocalbury and he believes in the politics of agreement instead of the confrontational stance. In a telephone interview he told audie61 that he is giving way to DAP to keep the spirit of the opposition alive and if DAP feels that they can topple and win the seat he will abide by the Central and State leadership election committee.

If everyone squabbles and are unreasonable it will be “free for all” against the BN coalition. Of course he says keeping his next move very much guarded meaning that he will be offered another seat but just saying,” When one door closes the other will open.”

We will still see Chee How the PKR Sarawak Information Chief contesting in this 10th state elections. See Chee how said,” its another lady taking on the might of SUPP in Batu Kawah” She might also do what Violet Yong did in 2006 that is being a giant killer when she beat Sim Kheng Hui, who was the state assemblyman for Pending since the state election in 1991 and was the Assistant Minister of Culture and Urbanisation, with a majority of 4,372 votes.

This time its Christina Chiew a 26 year old and an engineer who works for an industrial company at Muara Tabuan and is also a Special Assistant to State Assemblywoman for Pending, Violet Yong.

She will be taking on an Assistant Minister in the Chief Ministers office Tan Joo Pooi 59 year old who holds a diploma in management from the university of technology Australia. In 2006 Tan a newcomer then locked horns with PKR Wong Huan Yu and comfortably defeated his opponent in this semi urban constituency of nearly 16327 voters.

Christina will be eyeing to follow the footsteps of her master in Violet and she will certainly be given some lessons on how “to win over the voters” Will she be allowed to do that? Its up to Tan Joo Pooi to stop her from making any headway. The BN team in Batu Kawah will have their hands full and it will be up to the coalition to assist Tan.

If there are any cracks within the BN coalition Christina will set her sights on capitalising on the weaknesses. Its up to Tan and his team to safeguard this safe BN bastion. We will know by 16th of april whether Christina will be victorious or crushed.

Tan must work hard as Chee How has already been shown the door by DAP Christina…
