All Will be Settled

aa1135Much have been said about seat distribution. Only CM Sarawak and the BN hierarchy can settle it at the “Round Table”. There has been too much slagging and dirty linens thrown at each other between Barisan Component parties and their BN friendly counterparts. Certainly it does not look “HEALTHY” as sporadic infighting will only jeopardize the preparations.

The Bigger picture is getting a FRESH mandate for Barisan Nasional Sarawak under the New Man on top and that is Adenan Satem. The enemy is not within and a senior political leader have echoed this sentiment as he is doing his utmost to keep the “warring factions” on a leash or else all hell will break loose. This will be very detrimental to the Barisan Nasional  and the saying.”CRISIS means OPPORTUNITIES must not be ignored and it iwill be capitalised and cashed in by the Opposition Fronts.

Adenan will be RUTHLESS at the best of times when he needs to be and he will not let it get out of hand. He has been harping on “GIVE ME 5 MORE YEARS” which in itself is a double edged sword. He is after all the appointed Chief Minister until he has the FRESH MANDATE he is still under the rule of the thumb from the former boss.

This is the truth and nothing will stop Adenan from moving his Political Road Map to suit his next 5 years and the way his administration on how Sarawak will be governed.

Whatever and Whoever stands in his way as he battles through will be dropped or realigned. His inner circles will whisper sweet nothings to his ears but he will carefully go through the lists until he is certain of the peoples representative candidates who have the “Winnability/Credibility and Likebility” to win their respective seats. Remember Adenan was the Chief Hatchet Men under the former CM and as such he knows the way to SCORE A GOAL and win instead of kicking into an own goal.

It will be SETTLED sooner rather than later and Adenan will see to that. Believe Me and all the BN Component leaders will sleep easy soon as Adenan has the final jigsaw …

Your Guess is as Good as Mine

aselectionsThe gloves are now coming off as the lobbying intensifies for all aspiring candidates. Both BN Sarawak and the opposition parties camps are leaving no stones upturned. Only when the CM Sarawak makes an official visit to the Governor we will all still be unsure of the dissolution of the DUN.

We live in interesting times dont we ?

Adenan wants Stronger Mandate..!!

adenan1CM Adenan doesn’t mince his words. He knows that in his “maiden election” as Commander in Chief his team needs to put up an impressive showing.Of course, the political vultures will rip into his bones if he does no better than his predecessor.

Adenan’s so called advisors will say we dont need to read into the results but in any elections even if you win the facts and figures matters as they NEVER Lie.
Adenans words of ,”so that KL will listen to Adenan as he speaks for Sarawak people behind him” is nothing but the Truth.

Its a return to the old ways of FEDERALISM says a veteran editor and current cyber critic.
Truth be told ,” Whatever happens in the next Sarawak Elections will have no bearing on the GE14.” This Sarawak elections will have the Federal leaders ready to barge in if Adenan does badly.
Sarawakians have always been realistic and they ensure that their Livelihood plus Bread and Butter issues are addressed. At the moment their eyes are  focussing on him. The sad truth though is here to stay.
Urbanites & Semi rural voters will not come back or swayed to BN as the local infighting between the parties of SUPP , UPP , SPDP & TERAS remains a “prickly ” affair. Adenan needs to win handsomely
“hensemness” in the rural areas with increase in majorities to balance popularity. The Mandate is achievable of course with 2/3rd majority but could a New Alliance be a REALITY after the election.
This will be a coup but we leave that to another article. Stay focus for now.

The battle ground is now fertile and the opposition are making headways in the semi rural enclaves and no one can deny the fact. Adenan knows that too and his political analysts do not need to cream up to him and give him the “beautiful picture that it is not.

Adenan have had a panoramic view of the opposition when his predecessor was leading the way. He was standing with the arrows and bows hitting the targets. Now his TEAM are being whipped into place to withstand the many adversaries that they will face. His timing and getting them all set and ready to go into battle will be absolutely vital.

The WIND which Adenan has managed to whip up like a desert storm of UU or Oooh Ha’s are a reality check for every Sarawakian Voter.

Will you be a part of the MANDATE that Adenan seeks? You know better than any keyboard cyber analysts. Honestly, we know though, that Adenan doesn’t mince his words..

Choose wisely and don’t forget this article when you casts your votes very soon in Sarawak elections.

“SNAP Sarawak Elections 2015 ..??”

satem11What you see is what you get and when he says “Don’t mess with me” just be careful as he means what he says.

. CM Adenan is being seen as a beacon of hope for “Urbanites” who turned to and voted for the opposition. He can carry the fight to the opposition but its up to the ruling BN Urban leaders to up their ante and use Adenan to their advantage.

Of course Adenan is not a miracle worker nor a “Houdini” but he plans well and he expects his instructions to be carried through, executed and not just left in the drawers. The 4 BN component parties besides PBB,PRS are ready to “rock and roll” over the opposition if the elections are called as early as March/April 2015. SUPP has got their house in order it seems and so will SPDP by December 6th 2014 after their TGM. In the shadows lurks former party comrades UPP and TERAS who sees themselves ready to take over the mantle from them.

UPP have been sending strong signals to the BN administration they should not be discounted to be included in the BN plus formula. TERAS is concentrating on their 5 seats for now and strengthening their fort further by trying to take everything on the chin. CM Adenan has been singing his rendition,”Can’t help falling in Love with you” and the TERAS and UPP political boys are leaving it to the WISE MEN in the BN administration.

Of course there must be ‘goodies” served up on the platter for the returning “urban” voters or the rural voters who sees the BN government under Adenan is truly carrying out his promises.

Even this extract,” the opposition leaders too have praises for him.So far he’s saying the right things and doing the right things,” Sarawak state DAP chief Chong Chieng Jen said.

Then again, he said: “We’re still looking at him objectively and with an open mind”.One of the things Chong, who is Bandar Kuching MP and state assemblyman for Kota Sentosa, is supporting Adenan on is the latter’s stand on corruption.”

DAP,PKR and PAS have always harped on the level of corruption in the state and when DAP Chong is indeed tongue tight Adenan must be doing something REALLY RIGHT.

Even Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng told a group of Sarawak journalists who visited Penang recently.Adenan “He does not have skeletons in his closet.”

On this note will you be surprised that Adenan will go for the jugular and put his faith in his popularity and his actions rather than talk only and go for an early election. UPP AND TERAS problem will not hold so much as a “small hiccup” which cannot be solved amicably within the BN concept.

What Adenan has served up in the recently DUN sitting had even got PKR Chairman in Sarawak Baru Bian to inform his Pakatan colleagues that if Adenan continues with his ways, “opposition will run out of issues” to even go into the “battlefield” that is the Sarawak State elections.

The Federal BN Government leaders are all sipping coffee and smoking cigars knowing very well for now Adenan is a man on a mission. BN Sarawak will be returned to power after the 11th Sarawak State elections be it called in March/April 2014 or even later towards the end of the year.

Adenan knows the popularity statistics will wane if his men are not on the ground executing his instructions. He cannot afford to have it slowed down as the opposition and the voters will have a clearer picture if it falls short.

The elder and veteran leaders where some will have their political careers halted when Adenan puts his stamped in the administration must know how to let go or else they will also suffer the consequences that befell many before them.

IT WILL BE ADENAN’S CALL FOR THE SARAWAK ELECTIONS AND HE KNOWS BEST WHEN HE IS READY. ADENAN FOR NOW IS WARMING TO HIS TASKS AND HIS SEAT REMAINS COMFORTABLE UNTIL THE DETRACTORS ARE TRYING TO PUSH HIM TO THE EDGE

WILL YOU DARE TO MESS WITH HIM.?

Surprises In Store for Opposition in Sarawak..!!

wwm1KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), the backbone of Sarawak Barisan Nasional has prepared a few surprises for the opposition for the coming state elections.

“We have a few surprises for the opposition, which we will not reveal now,” he told a press conference after chairing the PBB supreme council meeting here.

DAP “Making Their Stance Very Clear..!!!”

dapchong16

Earlier this was reported in the BNBFF FB page,”Sarawak DAP unhappy with PAS. Will not compromise and we will make our stance very clear.
Chong “to defend and uphold the principle of the formation of MALAYSIA,Sarawak DAP will discuss at length whether we should remain in our pull out of PR”

Now its quite clear that DAP,PKR and PAS Sarawak are not exactly brothers in arms as their political ideologies have clashed. The ‘HUDUD” factor has reached boiling point and DAP Sarawak central committee met and they have put their foot down and supported their Chairman Chong Chieng Jen.

This appeared today in an internet portal today and one does not need to be a political genius to work it out where the PR Sarawak group is heading to.

Article as appeared:-

QUICK TAKE: So the Sarawak DAP wants to get out of Pakatan Rakyat if PAS insists on working with the federal government to implement hudud in Kelantan.

Making this strong stand last week, its chairman Chong Chieng Jen explained that if hudud was implemented, Sarawak would also be affected because all federal government departments at the state level would then have to comply with Syariah law in their administration.

But Chong did not stop there. He also lashed out at the non-committal stance of the Sarawak PKR on the matter and warned that the recent meeting between Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Jamil Khir Baharom had revealed that there was no need to amend the Federal Constitution to allow for implementation of hudud in Kelantan.

“This means that there is no need to get a two-thirds majority from Parliament to implement hudud and if implemented, it would go against the Sarawak Constitution and the principles of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) that clearly states that Sarawak has no official religion,” he said.

Chong

Chong’s threat to withdraw from the Pakatan coalition in Sarawak elicited a response from state PKR chief Baru Bian who expressed “shock” that Sarawak DAP has seen it fit to issue an ultimatum to Pakatan partner PAS  over its stand on hudud without prior consultation with Sarawak PKR.

Baru chided Chong referring to his past statements which clearly decreed that Sarawak was under no obligation to follow the prime minister on the hudud law in April and subsequent stand that Sarawak agreed to the formation of a secular Malaysia in June which were published in the local papers and shared widely on social media.

“Our stand could not be clearer or any more unequivocal, if Chong cared to read the reports. We have never faltered from holding firm to the guarantees of the Sarawak Constitution and the terms of MA63.”

Baru also questioned Sarawak DAP’s independent step when at the national level DAP had not given any indication of the position regarding this move.

“Perhaps there are internal factors and extraneous considerations at play here but I will not speculate on such matters. Suffice to say that I am deeply disappointed that DAP Sarawak should take such a drastic step at this time when the state election is imminent,” he said.

However, observers are aware that the differences and bad blood between DAP and PKR in Sarawak could not be just over this old hudud issue.

Since last year, PKR leaders in Sarawak have been jittery over the state DAP’s “Impian Sarawak” programme which is the party’s charge into the rural areas.

Armed with RM600,000 for the rural drive, a neat sum collected from the party’s state assembly representatives who had an allowance windfall, the DAP’s rural drive has been quite successful.

This has made certain PKR quarters unhappy as they see the DAP’s go rural drive as a threat for it has encroached into some constituencies which they have been eyeing.

Meanwhile, Sarawak PAS has also told DAP off, saying that the party was free to quit the state Pakatan coalition if it wishes to do so.

The deepening cracks within Sarawak Pakatan do not augur well for the state opposition in the coming state elections, due in two years.
