Dayaks or Kadazans IN DAP CEC..??

Biggest Multi Racial Party? The question in Sarawakians or Sabahans lips is simple says a political observer,”Will the delegates push to include elected  Dayaks or Kadazans into the DAP CEC Polls ? Of course in order to pacify the two East Malaysian State leaders they will appoint them into certain positions.

The article which caught the eye of the political observer is this which we extract from the internet portal and share with all of you :-

Chance for DAP to erase racist tag

KUALA LUMPUR: The DAP has been presented with a golden opportunity to silence detractors who accused the party of being “racists” for failing to elect any Malay leader into its central executive committee (CEC) in December last year.

This follows a High Court decision to strike out a suit challenging legalities of the “special re-election” of the party’s CEC members at its special congress on Sept 29.

It is left to be seen, however, whether the 2,576 delegates eligible to cast their votes for the second time will be seizing the opportunity that could potentially bridge the perceived racial polarities within the party.

A move to present a more multi-racial “image” could also help the DAP in its quest to penetrate into rural vote banks after garnering the lion’s share of non-Malay votes in the last 13th general election.

DAP deputy secretary-general Datuk Ngeh Hoo Kam had reportedly said that it is unlikely that any new faces will be elected from the 62 contenders for 20 top spots; nor will there be any change in the current office-bearers.

Still, certain factions may also use this opportunity to teach secretary-general Lim Guan Eng a lesson to express dissatisfaction on his handling of the recent 13th general election (GE13).

While his popularity will allow him to remain in the CEC, there may be attempts to bring down his number of votes.

When contacted by theantdaily, DAP vice-chairman Senator Dr Ariffin Omar claimed that the party’s “negative” image was mostly shaped by the mainstream media.

He maintained that there are no restrictions for any person to join or rise within its ranks.

“As far as we [DAP] are concerned, we are not looking at it [CEC elections] from an ethnic point of view.

“If you [critics] want to play with the race card, you will have to look at the overall situation in this country,” he said in referring to the Barisan Nasional ruling coalition which is made up of mostly race-based parties.

Ariffin, who is one of 10 leaders appointed to the CEC, stressed that he believes the current line-up of leaders is valid and “inclusive” of all races.

“I couldn’t care less about who is leading the DAP so long as the person is honest, has integrity and prepared to work for the party,” he said.

Ariffin’s comments were also made in response to former DAP vice-chairman Zulkifli Mohd Noor who had on Sept 20 reportedly accused Lim, the Penang Chief Minister, as being a “dictator” and having a hidden agenda to strengthen his hold on the party.

“The Malays in DAP are just ‘a 50 sen race’ and without them, it will not be able to reach one million [members],” Zulkifli was quoted as telling a press conference in Penang.

Zulkifli had also reportedly offered himself to be the party’s first ever Malay chairman in order to reflect DAP’s “multi-racial” politics.

“I’m not asking [DAP chairman] Karpal [Singh] to retire. But, if Karpal thinks his time is up to call it a day, I am prepared to take over his position,” said Zulkifli.

Zulkifli’s call had earned him a stern rebuke from Ariffin and several other Malay DAP leaders who on Sept 25 released a joint statement to refute his claims.

The group said Zulkifli’s actions are “shameful” and must be stopped immediately as it shows that there are individuals within the party who did not understand the party’s aspirations.

When contacted, DAP labour bureau chairman A Sivanesan said while he is on the list of candidates contesting on Sept 29, he did not want any members to vote for him.

“There are so many people out there who want to see the DAP destroyed. This is not the time to destroy the party [from within].

“Zulkifli is barking up the wrong tree… We [DAP] will be united on Sept 29 and the party will emerge from it stronger than ever,” said the Sungkai state-assemblyman.

There is also more drama to unfold with the resignation of Sabah DAP strongman Hiew King Cheu, who first indicated his dissatisfaction when he announced his withdrawal from the CEC re-election.

Taib Confirmed to Stay as President of PBB..

pbb9This we tweeted today,”@PetraJayaMP Works Minister says his Pending PBB branch would not want to see anyone challenging the top posts.

This have been echoed right through to all PBB divisions and Deputy President Abang Johari,Senior Vice President Awang Tengah, Information Chief  Adenan Satem and other Divisional chiefs have made similar calls.

We wrote earlier  a week ago  https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/09/11/taib-mahmud-to-be-uncontested-as-president/ and asked if there are any doubts?

We received many calls and smses and all were positive towards the Chief Minister Pehin Sri to continue to lead not only PBB but also to continue to administer the State of Sarawak.

Najib in his 50th Anniversary Speech at Padang Merdeka touched on the  cordial working relationship between the Federal Government and the State Government under the leadership of Taib Mahmud. The confidence of the Federal government on Taibs administration is a clear indication that the Federal Government is very much behind the leadership of Taib Mahmud.

This also dispel all doubts that those who have any intention on seeing UMNO to Sarawak will need to think not only twice but be on the lookout for the chopping blocks and also be guillotined soon. Our article  https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/umno-to-sarawak/

Always remember this though CM Taib Mahmud is not sleeping and he is also reading a different book from all of you. Please read the following articles below to refresh your memories:-

The picture is now clear that Taib will be reelected to helm PBB for the next 3 years from October 2013 to 2016.

Those who think otherwise might just need to read again the following listed articles below. They must be dreaming that CM Taib Mahmud is going to step aside and not knowing of their intentions

We have forgiven those who speak foul and bad mouth on audie61 but they must remember your time will come. Taib Mahmud knows who is with him and who is not really with him.” Of course the opposition is not…

By the way, we did not speak or call the portal sarawakreport. Awang Tengah’s men have a tendency to push the blame to others. It’s high time they own up and pay for their over enthusiasm and instigating those around them. THE INNOCENT MUST NOT TAKE THE FALL FOR THEM NO MORE….

PM “Thank You for Your Assurance”

Need we say more? You make your judgement and form your own opinion.

We would like to wish all Sarawakians and Sabahans a Happy 50th Anniversary. Enjoy the festivities which have been arranged by the respective states for this special day.

Read this and we extract from the internet portal malaysiakini.

As Malaysia marks the 50th year since its formation, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today vowed that the development of Sabah and Sarawak, the first and third most poorest state in terms average household income, is the nation’s priority.

In his Malaysia Day message, he said that this, however, does not mean that the two Borneo states were ever sidelined by the federal administration.

“As prime minister, I have always strived to ensure that equal development for all states…. Our efforts to develop Sabah and Sarawak’s economy will always be the government’s priority.

“Indeed life in these two states have changed drastically over the 50 years, in line with global development,” he said in the message published on his official website.

He said that proof that the government cares about Sabah and Sarawak can be seen through the federal allocation of RM2 billion for 79 infrastructure projects in the state in 2010.

He said these include projects under the Sarawak Renewable Energy Corridor (Score) and the Sabah Development Corridor.

Autonomous rights acknowledged

Meanwhile, Najib acknowledged that the formation of Malaysia on Sept 16, 1963 was a “compromise reached in order to safeguard the interests of Sabah, Sarawak and the Malay Federated States”.

This, he said, included the autonomous rights of Sabah and Sarawak as outlined by the 20-point agreement formulated by the Cobbold Commission.

Putrajaya’s alleged reneging of the 20-point agreement was often claimed by opposition parties in the last general election campaign, particularly in Sabah where allegations of unfair oil royalty agreements were raised.

According to the Department of Statistics’ latest household income survey, Sabah has the highest percentage of households living under the poverty line at 8.1 percent.

However, this has improved from 23 percent in 2004 and 16 percent in 2007.

According to the Economic Planning Unit, households living under the poverty line for Sabah survive on RM1,048 per month.

Meanwhile 2.4 percent of Sarawak households are poor, with the poverty line there set at RM912 a month per household.

Enemies are INSIDE and not OUTSIDE..

When we wrote the Trilogy way back in August 5th 2011 https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/sarawak-trilogyroad-to-22nd-floor-finalwhose-my-boy/ we did say this,”The political shift and movement of forces are anything but cordial amongst the many political rivals to the chair. They may appear as friends in front with their pleasantries but once the backs are turned all ’hell’ is let out to wander.

Today we were reminded that the PERCEPTION is otherwise. The enemy is indeed inside your own backyard and they have turn from being friends to being spies for a bigger ‘chests” which might just come along nicely. CM Taib and his deputy will no doubt stay on as we have mentioned in our previous article https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/09/12/taib-mahmud-to-be-uncontested-as-president-2/ and it has a significant spiral effect on PRS too. James Masing and his deputy Joseph Entulu will also be reelected uncontested at the party’s TDC in Sibu on 19th September.

CM have already indicated that he will in time make way but still the arrows and swords have not stop brandishing amongst the “greediness that looms” as sitting on the 22nd Floor Chair for Sarawak yields absolute power which the masters (i.e.enemies) yearn very much for. CM Taib watches with eagles eyes on the development within the PBB party in its elections but has eyes on UMNO which will no doubt affect the future administration of Sarawak in totality. Whose my Boy will be added flavour to many in the new UMNO lineup?

The screws are being turned on many of the top leaders within the country and they are playing the PERCEPTION game which in itself is a very DANGEROUS APPROACH. In the end reality will bite in and many will be left to lick their wounds and some may even be left to rot in the abyss. The fighters will continue and the saying goes,” If you’re going through hell, keep going.’ There is nothing to loose so its time to reengineer…..

This goes back to all the articles which we have written in the Trilogy and others connected with it and the following quote is so powerful…..

‘Enemies becomes friends and friends become enemies. An enemy of your enemy becomes your friend, even if the former is also your enemy, but as long as the latter is a bigger enemy. An enemy of your friend also becomes your enemy, even if the former is also your friend, but as long as the latter can serve your POLITICAL INTERESTS. That is the political game. You must learn to treat all political friends as potential enemies and keep them close where you can watch over them..plus keep your political enemies even closer so that you can monitor them and NEUTRALIZE their every move.

The enemies within will use the tried and tested formula” allegations, defamation, character assassination” to hamper or put a hurdle in front to stop the rise of the so called vibrant and forceful leaders who are not in the same TEAM as them. This not only happens in the BN coalition but also within the Pakatan fold.

We have been told on many instances that our writing is very “hot” for some to handle and its hitting at our own coalition. Like we say and we repeat it here which is extracted from the previous,”On this note we would also like to inform our detractors not to capitalise on this subject and to smear the blog.  We have no doubt created ripples of discontentment but it is to ensure that the “MESSAGE IS DELIVERED” to those who harbours to create chaos and disunity amongst the ruling BN Sarawak coalition.

READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND YOU KNOW WHO OUR MASTER IS…..If you dont know please dont read anymore of our blogs and stay in your own nutshell where you will be happy without outside interference.

For those who love to defame and character assassinate audie61 please continue to do so and we wish you well….

The following articles which must be read inorder to understand the picture clearly:-

https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/07/26/sarawak-trilogy-road-to-22nd-floor-part-1-dayaks/ https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/07/29/sarawak-trilogyroad-to-22nd-floor-part-2-the-chair/  https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/sarawak-trilogyroad-to-22nd-floor-finalwhose-my-boy/ https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/12/27/taib-leap-of-faith/ https://audie61.wordpress.com/2011/02/14/taibyesterdaytoday-and-tomorrow/

The internal scheming stopped somewhat short of its tracks and finishing line with the articles which ended with https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/awang-tengahs-men-pre-emptive-move/ but it was the earlier articles which checked mosts of the daredevils who have tarnished the PBB Senior VPs name badly and used it to somehow put a stop to his political career unknowingly. The plot hatched and used was the result of his fighting men and their overenthusiasm of overthrowing Taib Mahmud.

OH BOY! IT got better however when audie61 were linked and even made to be financed by http://www.sarawakreport.org/

For the persons who still thinks we are connected please read this introduction which we extract,” Sarawak Report has received an explosive dossier from sources close to Taib, detailing a powerful conspiracy to depose the Chief Minister at the next PBB Party Convention, due in May.”    http://www.sarawakreport.org/2013/01/the-plot-to-dump-taib-exclusive/

Please read their blog and understand that they too can copy and paste ones writing…YOU ARE SO CLEVER NOW….ARE YOU SATISFIED NOW..?? BE VERY AFRAID NOW..ITS TURNING UGLY NOW…

Taib Mahmud to be Uncontested as President..

musThe PBB convention is close at hand. All the party’s divisions have held their AGM’s or are in the process of doing so before the closing date given by the headquarters.

There have been some areas where there have been intense campaigning and where “proxy fights” are in evidence. However, there have been calls too by certain quarters to identify the “people” who rightly or wrongly contested to be part of the future PBB decision making hierarchy.

The youth wing has been targeted as the most “intense” There have been a sudden surge of youth leaders climbing the ladder and many are pitting their experience to even be the Youth Divisional Chiefs and also campaigning to have their names to be included in the State Executive Youth Council.

Much could be written by the audie61 team on the “ongoing election’ within the divisions. It will be foolhardy for us to paint a “colourful picture on the ongoing process” and some “unworthy newsmongers” would still identify us as being “kacau2 dari luar”{outside interference)

Yeah we better turn our attention to this shall we:- http://section9inmy.blogspot.com/2013/09/kj-vs-razman.html

On this subject a friendly blogger did say to us that a number of Sarawak YBs  were not too happy with our association with  http://www.sarawakreport.org/ especially on the malicious,tell-tales,allegations and reports which were similar to the outsiders report. { you do know how to extract and copy ? Oh! please be original.you are just trying to apple polish BUT got stucked in a hole  )

Here we need to clarify on this matter and if there is a need for us to swear in court or in any holy places of worship and make a declaration we would.

audie61 is an independant blog run by BN bloggers and have never ever even once made any detrimental ,false allegations or ill intend statement against the Chief Minister of Sarawak  Pehin Sri Taib Mahmud. If we continue to hear things will turn ugly.

On this note we would also like to inform our detractors not to capitalise on this subject and to smear the blog.  We have no doubt created ripples of discontentment but it is to ensure that the “MESSAGE IS DELIVERED” to those who harbours to create chaos and disunity amongst the ruling BN Sarawak coalition.

The fact of the matter still remains that there are many who still doubt Taibs sincerity that he is planning to handover soon. Even in the corridors of power there are “voices from the walls’ saying that “we have heard it all before and he will never relinquish his position”

Is there still doubt that Taib Mahmud will be uncontested during the PBB TDC?

if there are those who intended so must go back to their drawing boards or better still read this https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/awang-tengahs-men-oh-my-sarawak-report/

The ones who have their fingers dirtied and have made their intentions known will know the consequences when the PBB plus UMNO elections are over. The Chief Minister Taib as we have mentioned in one of our article is READING A DIFFERENT BOOK FROM ALL. THE TRIED AND TESTED BOOK OF POLITICS HAS GONE TO THE ANNALS OF HISTORY.

This is a new history for Sarawak politics and according to a “BUTCHER” who has seen it all and he said this TAIB IS THE MASTER and he has and will continue to chop those who he feels are his threat to his 22nd floor Chair.

No one will dare to touch him after what has been revealed. Try as they may with outside PBB which he says he knows where the HELP is coming from they will also face similar fate to those who came before them”

Even their soothsayers cannot help them. PBB he said will remain the “backbone” of the state BN administration as long as Taib Mahmud still remains as Chief Minister. Whatever happens after that is of course another chapter to be written.

There are a lot of interest generated by PBB as the TDC looms near. Those who wants to have “tastier dishes” can click and look up this blog. We do not want too also be associated with them in whatever capacity http://sebanaku-sarawak.blogspot.com/

Surely, by putting their weblog address we will be hearing soon,” Bro. Both of you BACK TOGETHER..?? It is for this reason and for those detractors who we know and have also eyes for them that “DONT OVERLY GET EXCITED AND POINT FINGERS”

if you are good enough blog it up and don’t hide behind an Icon or in Someone Shadow. A Senior Sarawak Minister Abang Johari said to members at the BN State convention in 2011,” I am not going to answer to a CAT,Any Animals or to Any False Identities”  How very true and we cannot agree more to the minister.

DO YOU CONCUR.? Surely, you must be saying how very true and this people dont have the BALLS..Forgive my language. “Grrrrrrrr…eeee”

We have maintain our stance that we will continue steadfastly be upholding against the scheming and unhealthy practises which goes behind CM Taib Mahmud.  The voices and noises are getting louder and many are still wondering why we have remain as such.

Do we need to tell the world why we do this? No reasons will fit your ears and we know who our friends are and will continue to watch closely over our enemies. We know that as a political blogger  we will continue to fight against those who have issues against us and we will continue to support those who have been kind to us.

Taib Mahmud to stay on as PBB President..?   Are you still doubting..?

UMNO to Sarawak.?

pbb&umno. The challenge is there for all to see. 5 new political parties approved to Sarawak and the overcrowding political scene is not a matter of choice for the people but something looms behind. PBB and other Sarawak political leaders plus political watchers will say it will not happen as long as Taib Mahmud is still the Chief Minister of Sarawak.

True to a certain extend but many UMNO 2nd echelon leaders thinks otherwise. What is so special with Sarawak that it holds UMNO with both hands? 25 seats won out of 31 in the last GE13 and a shift to the otherside will see a crumble of BN. Please this is an “old tell tale story” cooked up which has been past down for 30 years.

The delineation of all the rural seats have been done to ensure that the ruling government stays in power until the people in all the constituencies decides. UMNO  sees the 31 seats as an addition to stay as the top boy in the game of numbers and does not want to fall behind as the semi rural areas are under attack by the United opposition front for now, in the Pakatan coalition.

UMNO has 88 seats in totality and in Sarawak they see additional numbers for them. Of course, the top leaders in the UMNO hierarchy can dispute this and say “Sarawak is in good hands under PBB” but the number games can change if UMNO does make a frontal entrance. This is not impossible and for that reason alone the 5 political parties are the start of what will happen to Sarawak if PBB does not stay united after the Taibs adminstration decides to call it a day.

It happened as history is the judge to our neighbours Sabah but one can say its a different scenario and under different political circumstances. Politics does take a different approach and like water they can come in different forms especially when a tsunami strikes.

Adenan a very senior politician in PBB and rhetorically convincing when it comes down to addressing issues to his party has come out openly NOW of all the time before the PBB convention that Taib is still the “man to lead the party for the next 3 years” How we read it and why Senior leaders in Abang Johari,Awang Tengah and other Junior leaders have come out to make this call is anyones guess. Truth be told is that PBB needs to be strong and united or else UMNO will capitalise on the disunity and make its way and steps foot into the Sarawak scene.

Looking at the number of political parties in Sarawak there are  4 BN local parties in PBB,SUPP,PRS,SPDP, 2 local outside BN in STAR,SWP while 3 Peninsula based parties in DAP,PKR and PAS plus Parti Cinta Malaysia which makes it a total of  10. An additional of 5 new parties as follows  Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak( Teras), Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDS Baru), Parti Ekonomi Rakyat Sarawak Bersatu (PERSB), Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) and Peace Party makes it a total of 15 parties.

PPP have made their inroads in the State but they are being put in to make up the numbers for the National agenda in totality (party elections only). They do not have any impact in the State of Sarawak for the moment as the BN party members see it more towards a Peninsula based party. This equation could change as MIC,MCA,Gerakan the big brothers of BN Malaysia are in a freefall and they too need to look elsewhere to consolidate their grip on their own party.

Does UMNO need to come to Sarawak? There are so many grey areas to consider and also many bright spots for the party members to be please about. The numbers game in party elections will mean that there will be new member for them to HORSE TRADE during party Election time. UMNO is a National party and one state is staying out of the national agenda after 30 years many observers are coming back to the Starting line again. The arguments are that PKR,DAP and PAS have made their presence felt and why not UMNO?

Surely,PBB members knows that UMNO will eventually step in but for now its a “taboo” to even mention it as long as Taib is in power. Wha happens after his reign they say we will cross the bridge when it comes. The continous pressure and so many different approaches to try to get Taib to relinquish his position has not gone down too well with Taib Mahmud.

His answers to the detractors and those who harbour to take over as President of PBB and Chief Minister of Sarawak is that,”35 out of 35 seats State elections,14 out of 14 in GE13 contested all won by PBB” No losses and is there any need to step down? He delivers to Barisan Nasional time and time again and his stranglehold of the state has been the envy of those who wants a “PIECE OF THE ACTION IN SARAWAK

The PBB elections looks likely to be a tame affair and the only ‘behind the scene” politiking os the changing of guards in the youth wing. Unreported in the blogs/newsmedia  are the ‘tensions and ugliness” which are not unusual in any parliamentary democratic elections. Many said that ‘hidden hands” between the Pesaka and Bumiputera youth wings have seen to the ousting of certain groups. This will also be the new echelon leaders who will be the ones closely watched by UMNO new leaders who harbours to make inroads in the state in time to come.

This was written in 2011 by audie61 blogger http://whizzekid.wordpress.com/2011/05/26/umno-menentang-cm-atau-pbb/ and it does seem that everytime party elections in UMNO or PBB this issue will crop up. All the leaders will brush it aside no doubt as long as Taib is still helming the state of Sarawak. It will be an OPENBOOK for many when Taib Mahmud eventually calls it a day.

This blog says it all eventhough it was written in 2010 http://semarakwangsa.blogspot.com/2010/12/umno-belum-sesuai-masuk-sarawak.html.

When we wrote the last article “Tensions and Dominoes falling in Sarawak” it not only created ripples of concern but the political scene was abuzz with the real intentions of what is to come. Many political watchers are looking at the possibility of Taib calling for a SNAP Sarawak Election as early as July 2014 (inner circle sources) to prove again to the detractors that he is still the man to lead and UMNO does not need to put its hands and meddle in the affairs of the state.

Could we be wrong? Yes or No and for now as our last article mention here https://audie61.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/tension-and-dominoes-falling-for-bn-sarawak/ it certainly have penetrated the minds of many who wished to see a FRONT ENTRANCE OF UMNO IN SARAWAK.

Only Taib and his closest aides knows what is right for their stranglehold of their RESPECTIVE CHAIRS in the adminstration and their constituency seats. The next state elections held soon or later will gauge the strength of PBB and its allies in order to put a FULL STOP to UMNO making a bee line to have a peice of the political action that is the 31 divisional seats on offer.

BN Sarawak will hope that this day will be still a distant memory.

Tension and Dominoes falling for BN Sarawak?

taib11What signal is the Federal government sending down to the Sarawak State BN government? The approval and reality of 5 New political parties in Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak( Teras), Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDS Baru), Parti Ekonomi Rakyat Sarawak Bersatu (PERSB), Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) and Peace Party has indeed send shivers down the spine of mosts observers.

The tension felt has made many BN loyalists feeling aggrieved that something more sinister is happening in the background. Sarawak BN Secretary Dr.Stephan Rundi have already come out openly to protect his President by saying,”Taib is definitely not retiring just yet and the rumour of Pehin stepping down in November  was mere speculation. The party still needs him to lead and the top leadership will decide when the time comes. ”

We wrote earlier and this will be proven come the PBB convention in October. lets repeat it here shall we, ”

PBB will remain united to ensure that President Taib and his deputy remains for another 3 year term after the Triennial PBB Convention.

We will hear the shouts from all delegates from the corridors at BCCK SARAWAK and it Will reverberate and send a Thunderous response to ALL at the closing of the convention with

HIDUP TAIB ! HIDUP TAIB ! HIDUP TAIB ! HIDUP JABU! HIDUP JABU ! HIDUP JABU! HIDUP PBB !  HIDUP PBB ! HIDUP PBB !

However those detractors who want to see an end to Taibs Chief Ministership will just have to swallow their words. The tension will be unbearable for some who feels that Taib will be a liability as Sarawak goes for the 11th State elections. There are some who feels that by approving and injecting more political parties in the state it will break the stranglehold of Taibs rule.

It does seem that they will use all the necessary strategies available to derail Taib’s hold of the state. The opposition can go as much only as putting their stamp on the urban areas and to win over the rural areas there are still so much to be done. The 4 BN parties have done their part to ensure that PBB and Taib remains in power.

55 out of 71 seats is no easy feat and winning 35 0ut of 35 for PBB means Taib is very much in control of the party and of course there are many who are very unhappy with the continuation of Taib rule.

Will the dominoes fall? There will be at least 10 Parties going against BN Sarawak parties in PBB,SUPP,PRS and SPDP in the next state elections. An article which appeared in an internet portal paints a grim picture on one of the 4 BN parties in the present administration. This article headlines,”New party, PBB strategy to kill-off SPDP?” which in itself has already tried to destabilise the BN4 Government.

The opinion of the writer should have also included the defunct PBDS which has been given a new lease with PBDS(baru) in which it should also mention as a direct challenger to PRS throne in the rural enclave. It is also a known fact that Taib has a soft spot for William Mawan as he has always been very loyal to Taib.

Some school of thoughts have of late said that Taib is not too keen on James Masing as he still portrays an ambitious streak to be a front runner if Taib is defeated at the polls. However, Taib is unfazed by all the political swirlings and dealings in the background as his intelligent sources have convinced him that the 5 parties are in fact a ‘target to stop the opposition parties” in PKR,DAP and PAS.

James Masing will need to bring PRS through another stormy sea as PBDS in itself is very much the heart and soul for mosts dayak politicians who see it in the same mould of race based parties like UMNO,MCA and MIC.

PBDS has already declared itself as BN friendly and it does look more likely that they will face head-on against not only PKR/DAP/PASn its Pakatan allies but also PRS. It will not be a smooth ride for BN 4 anymore says a veteran politician who has since said he has exited from the scene.

A close aide to the President of SPDP was not too amused with the cheekiness and not factual writing especially when it touched on the MPs. The article claimed that an ex SC member who mentioned that,” at least two of the current four parliamentarians are “weighing their odds” This he said,”totally baseless, untruth and it is trying to bring a wedge between PBB and SPDP for reasons best known to the writer himself.”

There are of course some differences between some leaders in BN4 but its only normal in any organisations that some do not see eye to eye. When it matters most BN4 Sarawak remains united going against a common enemy. William Mawan SPDP President openly thanked PBB for their undivided support in the last GE13 when he defeated Ali Biju of PKR who thought he could easily defeat the SPDP President. Many were hell-bent to not only defeat him but also HUMILIATE him to submission and quit the party as President.

The dominoes did not fall for PBB,PRS,SPDP as they made a clean sweep and the only casualty was SUPP who losts 6 out of 7 seats they contested. Sarawak BN won 25 out of 31 seats and PBB who won 14 seats is the second strongest parliamentary party after UMNO.

Will the 5 new parties change the landscape for PBB and 3 of its allies? Will the dominoes fall? In the view of a senior political analyst it will not as it will make the BN4 more determined than ever to wrestle back seats which were lost to the opposition in 2011. Taib will come out of the PBB convention very moved and will feel comfortable to lead the party to end the detractors intervention of Sarawaks politics once and for all.

The tension remains very high and the bubble will not burst as BN4 will go beyond all the interferances and ensure that the alliance of PBB,SUPP,PRS and SPDP remains the Choice of the People of Sarawak.

However and Whatever will be thrown at Taib and his BN4 alliance it will be fruitless as long as many will very much prefer “the devil you know rather than the devil which looms outside and wants to takeover from the leadership of Taib Mahmud and PBB as the backbone of BN4.

It’s a tough call and the high tension remains but the dominoes will not fall like many who have predicted with Taibs rule coming to an end.

You will also be shouting after the 11th State elections,”Hidup Taib! Hidup Taib Hidup Taib!”

It’s up to you to prove me WRONG…
