Marudi…”Very Intense Lobbying”

“The incumbent Marudi assemblyman will be the Barisan Nasional ( BN) candidate in the next election as there has been no changes so far in the announcement by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Adenan Satem in Marudi on two occasions last year.”

awang1The above statement came from Vice-President of PBB and a Senior Minister in Adenan’s Administation in Awang Tengah. Our political analyst says that.” it does seem a losts cause for Dr Penguang Manggil, the former permanent secretary to Local Government and Community Development Ministry,”

He has been identified by SPDP as their candidate to represent the party. The lobbyists for SPDP have been active in the cyberspace and they have concentrated their aims at TERAS/UPP seats for fear that the incumbents are the wants picked by CM Sarawak Adenan.

Adenan himself have made it clear,”It’s all about WINNABILITY for BN and precisely what that means it is the candidate must be acceptable, responsible and reliable to the coalitions cause of the WINNING THE SEAT .

It is not wrong to lobby but sometimes the reports that filter back to the CM’s department have been very “gung-ho” and to make matters worse the noises that comes from the ceramahs are very disturbing. The lobbyists who speaks at the ceramahs knows what have been said and they know some of their words used will come back to haunt their lobbied candidate. Continue reading

Your Guess is as Good as Mine

aselectionsThe gloves are now coming off as the lobbying intensifies for all aspiring candidates. Both BN Sarawak and the opposition parties camps are leaving no stones upturned. Only when the CM Sarawak makes an official visit to the Governor we will all still be unsure of the dissolution of the DUN.

We live in interesting times dont we ?

Adenan wants Stronger Mandate..!!

adenan1CM Adenan doesn’t mince his words. He knows that in his “maiden election” as Commander in Chief his team needs to put up an impressive showing.Of course, the political vultures will rip into his bones if he does no better than his predecessor.

Adenan’s so called advisors will say we dont need to read into the results but in any elections even if you win the facts and figures matters as they NEVER Lie.
Adenans words of ,”so that KL will listen to Adenan as he speaks for Sarawak people behind him” is nothing but the Truth.

Its a return to the old ways of FEDERALISM says a veteran editor and current cyber critic.
Truth be told ,” Whatever happens in the next Sarawak Elections will have no bearing on the GE14.” This Sarawak elections will have the Federal leaders ready to barge in if Adenan does badly.
Sarawakians have always been realistic and they ensure that their Livelihood plus Bread and Butter issues are addressed. At the moment their eyes are  focussing on him. The sad truth though is here to stay.
Urbanites & Semi rural voters will not come back or swayed to BN as the local infighting between the parties of SUPP , UPP , SPDP & TERAS remains a “prickly ” affair. Adenan needs to win handsomely
“hensemness” in the rural areas with increase in majorities to balance popularity. The Mandate is achievable of course with 2/3rd majority but could a New Alliance be a REALITY after the election.
This will be a coup but we leave that to another article. Stay focus for now.

The battle ground is now fertile and the opposition are making headways in the semi rural enclaves and no one can deny the fact. Adenan knows that too and his political analysts do not need to cream up to him and give him the “beautiful picture that it is not.

Adenan have had a panoramic view of the opposition when his predecessor was leading the way. He was standing with the arrows and bows hitting the targets. Now his TEAM are being whipped into place to withstand the many adversaries that they will face. His timing and getting them all set and ready to go into battle will be absolutely vital.

The WIND which Adenan has managed to whip up like a desert storm of UU or Oooh Ha’s are a reality check for every Sarawakian Voter.

Will you be a part of the MANDATE that Adenan seeks? You know better than any keyboard cyber analysts. Honestly, we know though, that Adenan doesn’t mince his words..

Choose wisely and don’t forget this article when you casts your votes very soon in Sarawak elections.

“Ugliness and Hatred on Line-“

Extracted fully and This is an opinion from Sarawakian Edgar Ong

If you have an account on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram you would have noticed that there are far too many postings showing people sharing news, images, videos and personal opinions about subjects verging on the edge of being censored – some due to their opinionated sense of perversion or twisted perspective or insane ideas and views.

Most of the time you find yourself bombarded with ugly, nasty and unpleasant images, news and videos. I am talking about pictures and photographs of abused infants, minors, pets and animals. I am also including those barbaric and savage images and videos of heads and limbs and other bodily parts being chopped off.

Bad news sells. That’s what is basically bringing in the eyeballs into Facebook and Twitter accounts, and some delight in seeing their posts being seen or “Liked” so many times as if they are trying to break their own personal best record!

Why indeed are people sharing so much ugliness and hatred? Is it the shock-value factor that they are after? Is it an inner sense of feeling good about themselves that they are above all this? Or is it some grotesque and twisted sense of satisfaction about showing off to others what they feel is wrong with the world at large?

Perhaps only a psychiatric observation can give us the answer.

Wouldn’t the world be a better and nicer place if we, or at least the majority of us, share good things – the joyful, the beautiful, the caring and the loving news and images that we have seen, read or viewed?

Many friends suggested that we should share more of the good things in life – how to be better parents, better companions; how to live a healthier life; how and what to do with your free time and the list is endless.

We can share about food and drinks, music and reading; travel and cooking – even share news of family and friends and how they are doing and what you’ve been up to. Surely all this is a lot better than being just being a constant voyeur and peeping Tom into other people’s nastiness, ugliness and bad tidings?

Six months ago, I started a Facebook page called “Kuching Flood Feedback” specifically for those who had wanted to share and inform others about the flood situation in and around Kuching. Within a few weeks it had taken off and grown popular and had over 500 members.  When the flood situation improved I thought of closing it down.

Many members implored me to keep the page alive as it proved to be of value and interest to them, so I renamed it Sarawak Public Feedback, and increased the forum’s coverage area to Sarawak, to also include other subjects of public interest.

Today, there are 7,694 members not just from Kuching or indeed Sarawak. The subject matter now also includes public policies and politics.

Sarawak election is hot topic on Sarawak Facebook pages
Sarawak election is hot topic on Sarawak Facebook pages

No prizes for guessing what subject is now the hottest topic on Sarawak Public Feedback. It’s Malaysian politics – with a slant towards Sarawak, of course. Members get all hot and bothered and threads extend into the hundreds when it comes to debating issues from ‘Sarawak for Sarawakians’ to ‘Najib’s scandals’ to ‘Adenan’s popularity’.

Other non-politically minded members try their best to contribute, from time to time, their posts about local history, culture, food, places to visit and so on, but these posts amount to less than 20 per cent of total postings.

Sadly, social media, instead of sharing the good things in life, has become a platform for people to sound off – and when they do that it’s usually about politics and bad news.

BN Plus “U-Turn..Home comforts of Kam Pua Politics..!!”

aeeeeeIt’s a sucker punch.

According to a TERAS member and former SPDP SC,”We remember very well at the PRS headquarters in the Press Conference that James Masing said,”a certain personality” must not be there.” Now is it done just to derail the CM Adenan’s earlier masterplan?

After some investigative works, we were informed that prior to the afternoon Press Conference on May 15th 2014 when this plan was given the go-ahead of getting the “YBS without a home together” Mawan was still indecisive. How could he betray his good friend and ‘ally” in Tiong King Sing?

Mawan was in a dilemma or was he? …Wouldn’t you be..when you are about to betray a Friend of many years..?

In reality, he could be MISLED according to sources from the ground. It could be seen clearly who initiated the rebellion as per the press conference led by the former SPDP youth secretary and the former SPDP women secretary The  leaders and some ” hardcore” members of S.C. look at this as ‘opportunity” to teach Tiong a lesson and also to be given positions and other perks.

Politics changes all the time and their days are “numbered” and they will be scrapheap soon if the next phrase of Political re-alignment comes to fruition. They will have their names in the annals of the history books if ‘someone” decides to write.

The women secretary took herself out of the equation when she smelt a rat. She has since kept a low profile which is a credit to her. SPDP members who are still with the party have not forgotten about this episode and they will gladly welcome back their former President but of course the rests have to join the queue while some will end up put in a very cold and isolated freezer.

This was the PC,” Sixteen divisional Youth chiefs, claiming to represent 5,263 members, and 10 divisional Women chiefs, claiming to represent 10,000 members, announced they have quit Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP). http://www.theborneopost.com/2014/05/19/26-youth-and-women-division-chiefs-say-quitting-spdp-to-join-teras/

Led by former SPDP Youth secretary Khairuddin Abdul Kadir and former SPDP Women secretary Olivia Chan, they announced at a press conference yesterday that they wanted to join their former party president Tan Sri William Mawan in the newly formed Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras).”

How come SPDP is still very much intact they ask..? Who was the schemer?

If the leaders had ten of thousands party members with them no one would dispute that. If they dare to take the lead they will be the first to face the wrath of the political in coming storm. Please don’t put the blame that its the Chief Minister Adenans Plan. The whispering campaign plus ‘pokok goyang”have even gone as far as “Adenan failed”

What happened in the Pullman hotel where and when the YBS met and subsequent meetings does not point to Adenan? Lets get it clear ,don’t lah if its not working blame Mr.Oooh ha oooo ha oooo ha. The “so-called plotters” failed.

Mawan and Tiong should have “kampua mee “together and see where they can go from here.

Mawan is a survivor and a very tenacious one and he should know that those who promised the world in terms of numbers should not be championing for themselves anymore but be blown away like the mists.

They know who they are and they must be willing to take the fall. Mawan and Tiong love their ‘charkueh tiaw” and kampua mee.

Pic 1Masing has already won the battle. He won it without even a fight. He had the BN “merger of minds” . The 11 new allocated seats are a lifeline to Adenan. He knows it and he will use this to achieve his mandate. Adenan already spelt it out clearly where the battleground is. Its the rural areas and he will not sacrifice his high ground to the opposition and more so to the infighting between TERAS/SPDP.

The “Sarawak for Sarawakians” movement is another factor which must not be taken lightly especially in the rural areas where ‘drumming into the minds” does take effect to especially to the younger set of voters.

Adenan have informed the BN coalition partners and grassroots members know the ‘history”  of all the opposition parties and their members. He will plan everything before he calls for elections. He understands the situation but does Mawan,Tiong,Masing know whether he wants them to fight head-on or call for a strategic truce of some kind.

Adenan as commander in chief  would not take too much risks or chances. He will go back to his drawing board and assess. This must have  cropped up in his mind when he was the executor behind Taib Mahmud. Its time for his executors to also know.

” The D-Day invasion of Europe was one of the most thorougly organised in history. With 175000 troops from four countries involving 5000 ships.every detail was planned scientifically. The invasion was practised for months in various venues. During the run up to the invasion, the Allies created various “DECEPTIONS” about where and when the invasion would occur”

Sarawakians-must-realise_1024x576There must be a carefull balance and he knows the ‘dayak sentiments” and groundswell is gaining momentum as new and untested young dayak voters are very well informed. The dayaks would want very much to be “recognised and respected” after struggling to get a firm footing. If the Merger is realised there should not be U-Turn.

The BN candidate will be nominated by the party and agreed in principle by the BN4 team. of course its the prerogative of the BN State Chairman but he too needs to get the blessing from the overall BN Chairman. The BN candidate needs to be elected by the people and it is also up to the party to lobby for Ministerial posts. The final say in lobbying will be up to the Chief Minister as its his prerogative. That’s basically the standard operating procedure for all assemblymen.

In this Merger process the UPP/SUPP dilemma should not be brought up. The parties of PRS/SPDP/TERAS will be showing them the way and no one should stay in the way and act as spoiler. This could be used as a yardstick to show that even how bitter the pill it could be swallowed.

Mawan a veteran politician knows when the bricks are being pilled in, he of all people would not want to stay there and be buried under it. There are indications from our various sources that  Barisan Nasional leaders would welcome such a movement which will make BN stronger going into the State elections.

James loves a good kampua too and he does get it all the time when he pays a visit to Belaga which is also a PRS stronghold. Mawan and Tiong loves a Peninsular “Char Kueh Tiaw” but if invited by Tiong for a local foochow  “Kam Pua Mee” he would come. Having said that,”the rebellious few who only champions for themselves must be put in the back burner for now.

Joseph Entulu knows that PRS being a strong and solid party needs to look at all options first and he could put a stumbling block to the “merger of minds’ of PRS/SPDP/TERAS.

The enemy is not outside of BN. It is inside and those who don’t try to resolve their differences will not escape the eyes of the executors. The Commander in Chief besides the executors have his two Generals in Johari and Tengah those rebellious few will be spent force.

Adenan and his executors knows Sun Tze’s central thesis that is “YOU CAN AVOID FIGHTING WHEN YOU PLAN THE RIGHT STRATEGY

The first move has been initiated by SPDP in their August 16th Supreme Council meeting. Adenan knows the battlefield well and he has scars to prove it. Adenan cannot afford this large scale war amongst BN component  parties and BN friendly parties to continue. The opposition will capitalise and the voters will turn their backs especially so when there is infighting. Time to end all the bickering and go into battle as a solid front will be BN and Adenans chances of an overwhelming majority.

Then his Oooo ha’s will sent a strong signal to everyone that its his MANDATE ………

Sarawakians RESPECT each other

IN THIS WE SAY WE HAVE RESPECT

Chief Ministers Men Series 3

GSTCome April 1st the much talked about GST will come into force. (The 6% of Goods & Services Tax ) GST (Goods & Services Tax), which is also known as VAT or the value added tax in many countries is a multi-stage consumption tax on goods and services.

GST is levied on the supply of goods and services at each stages of the supply chain from the supplier up to the retail stage of the distribution. Even though GST is imposed at each level of the supply chain, the tax element does not become part of the cost of the product because GST paid on

The opposition front have been making a lot of loud noises inside and outside of Parliament to the extend of the people following blindly and believing. The government is implementing the GST after only a thorough breakdown and careful study of the effects and also to ensure the people and economy will not be badly affected.

In Sarawak the GST will initially be felt ‘minor tremors”but in our CM’s series 3 the GST comes into effect with the Acronym “Gago Sangat Tok”- Actually the article will be focus on the lobbying of seats available for the 11th Sarawak State Elections.

The Hudud issue have got to the Pakatan coalition front of DAP leaving the front as it feels that they have been backstabbed at the back. Their statement reads,: “DAP Sarawak regrets that PAS has deviated from their PR common policy framework by pursuing the implementation of HUDUD law in Malaysia. With PAS remaining as a component party in PR Sarawak, DAP Sarawak has resolved and made the painful decision to quit from PR Sarawak” SO DAP will not have much to worry about GAGO SANGAT TOK (GST). They will need not to bow down to the demands with PKR and they will be able to venture in their “IMPIAN SARAWAK” where the rural seats will be their priority.

They will be calling their own shots and even if they do come together with PKR and other local parties they will have the upper hand. After all they have 12 ADUNS with PKR only 3 and the other an Independent. The game played by the DAP hierarchy in Sarawak looks simple enough to draw first blood to ensure that their voters will continue to believe in them as they are genuinely serious in their political fight. It will be so different for DAP if the BN Chinese based parties are not still at each other necks.

The Chief Minister Adenan have listened and handed down grants to the Chinese Community on Education and have done his utmost in eradicating corrupted officers who have their hands in illegal logging and even made his stand on stopping  the catcalls of PENDATANG.The Chief Ministers Men are trying their best but it seems the political parties involved are not heeding the calls. On the ground it does seem that it will still be very much an uphill tasks for the BN Chinese parties to regain lost ground.

LET US BE ABSOLUTELY TRUTHFUL ABOUT THE WHOLE SCENARIO. ITS THE ENEMY WITHIN WHO ARE KILLING THEMSELVES AND NOT ANY OUTSIDER.

SUPP and UPP have to understand that no other BN coalition parties are lobbying for the urban seats. Both of them at the time of writing cannot even be seen cordially at political functions.

DONT THE VOTERS KNOW …. ESPECIALLY THE URBAN ONES?

However in the rural bastion of safe seats for BN the scenario is very much dissimilar. The claims are more like what PBB Belaga Youth claims to contest in the New seats of Murum. This have also been counter claim by PRS who says that the seat is in their Parliamentary area of Ulu Rejang and their State seat  of Belaga. It is no secret that the lobbying have been intensified to the extend that the ADUN of Katibas  have even stepped in to ask all parties not to create the rift which will be of no benefit to the BN coalition. He is afterall a former Secretary general to PBB and he knows only too well the ultimate reaction from the top lleadership. ( This is not to be revealed here)

Lobbying of course in the rural areas comes in many forms and three or four days festivities at each constituency thrown by the aspiring candidates are not unusual. The Chief Ministers men have seen it too often in past campaigns and the signature campaigns are widely used as the Internet technology of Whatsapp  (print screen) or Emails will have very little effect in this rural areas. The Chief Minister has already a list of potential candidates drawn up by his inner circles and he will have the final say no matter who GAGO SANGAT TOK (GST) The political parties will all have their own lists no doubt but the final say will be left to the BN Sarawak Chairman as he will be leading the team to the elections.

Our intelligence sources say that many veteran BN ADUNS are hopeful that their previous track record will get them considered or retained for the 71 seats. The 11 new seats will be divided amongst the BN coalition and here will be seen new, fresh faced and younger candidates.

The AIR OF RUMOURTISM has that they will be changes in a few constituency amongst them ARE YOU READY? These are the lists which are widely spoken as the election candidacy hots up:- Tamin ,Semop Jemoreng, Jepak, Muara Tuang Layar Bukit Begunan,Lingga Tupong Batu Danau. It does seem that GST ADUNS have got on the ground and worked hard and hopefully will not be dropped from the final lists.

Of course the Chief Ministers men have said its the AIR OF RUMOURTISM but CM Adenan will say YOU UU..( these are the reasons and here are the reports from JASA,SB and grassroots )

Chief minister men knows that the TEAM matters more than a few who thinks that they deserve the chances again when they are not seen to be politically motivated no more and they have also outlived their political lifeline.  They might still be useful in other ways to the State administration and some will even be given government positions if BN are returned to power. Their experiences are much needed but to serve their constituencies is another matter.

GST will be implemented on April 1st but GAGO SANGAT TOK lobbying will be carried on till the final lists will be drawn. it does pay though to be close too the Chief Ministers Men and Series 4 to 13th will come sooner than expected. Until then just stay focus on your work which you have been assigned.”Don’t Over Over huh in your political ambitions as the…..

CM Sarawak will say this to all   “YOU…UU”

Chief Ministers Men Series 2

adenan 11February 28th 2015 is a Year since CM Adenan assume Office as the 5th Chief Minister of Sarawak..Many Congratulations to him.

No Mandate“…Very True..”Borrowed Power“..Undisputed ..”It’s Reality“..Of Course it is and to put in a few more mouth watering words It should read as “the Three Kingdoms ” are working well together. According to the Chief Ministers Men they are gelling well and working together and in concensus with each other in the cabinet and in official matters. (The Three Kingdoms-Adenans men,Awang Tengahs men and Abang Joharis men)

One would have thought it must be the “Leaders of the MERGED MINDS” as they are very much in the BN coalition and should ultimately be strong enough to even push either of them out of the Kingdom. Unfortunately none of the component leaders are seen to be able to match either the two Generals says a spokesman in the Chief Ministers Men Circle.

There are a lot of threats and it is the “ENEMY WITHIN” which we must be able to tackle and not so much the Pakatan Force in Sarawak. Overzealousness, Overenthusiastic and Overdoing it have thrown a spanner in the works of one of the Generals who was tipped without bother to ascend the CM’s Chair. In the end the 3 {O’s} did one of the damage plus the DAP Sarawak claims of UMNO on another. However it does seem that there is a different threat which is creeping under the carpet.

As much as the Chief Ministers Men try to deny that it is happening one knows PBB culture too well in Sarawak. The days of “surat layang layang ,tree-shaking method and ways practised in the past cannot be executed now. Its a wide open space in the social media now and in PBB there is no such thing as infighting the Hierarchy straight on.

Try you may and the whole machinery will sweep you and your “merry men” all the way and have you sunk in the South China Sea.”

Now, where did we pluck all the courage to write this Series 2.? As we told one of the CM’s Men”I might not have the monetary resources but what I have stored up in my Upper body above my neck is enough to send shivers down the spine of many walking the corridors of power

Obviously, a lot of the Generals Men were not too happy around this time last year. Seriously,if your boss baton was snatched from him at the eleventh hour under your noses it will leave a bitter taste in the mouth. One of the General Men even didn’t think that our writing was credible and he too have to swallow his words together with his soldiers.

A year have lapse and they tried many things which even included the famous Sarawak way”bisik bisik of a Coup d’etat, even trying to derail the Chief Minister in his New Policies(illegal loggers, integrity pledge,NCR issues,,bringing in racist bigots) and even to the extend of defaming and alleged that Adenan is controlled from the back very much like the “INFAMOUS 4th Floor Boys” .They really tried to but so far have been checked.

Was this all planned by the former Chief Minister one might ask? Word has it that CM and Governor don’t see eye to eye. Really .do you believe in all this nonsense?

Chief Ministers Men have manouvere with caution and CM himself have implemented well and his ideas have ensured political stability till now plus the economy is vibrant which has assited him fully plus the Full Federal Support. Still though it lingers on and that is its not won FAIRLY.

The No Mandate have come back to haunt Adenan as much as it did to his counterpart the PM Najib himself. Adenan can say,” I will reprimand you,put you in cold freezer  etc etc but the fact is he is using his predecessors Mandate and have not even done much to put his men in place. The fact of the matter is that Adenan is also using Borrowed Power which in REALITY does not mean a thing to the other Generals men”.

Here lies the hard cold facts” They can say what they like but the sadness is that they still listen very much to the tune of the former CM.

This phrase will not go down well but its REALITY,”100 % the Rakyat are warming up to Adenan as the Chief Minister and are popular but 70% of the YB’s and their men are watching at Adenan to fall sooner rather than cross the finishing line.

CM’s Men knows that they will be a “bitter fight ” as the election dates looms. We mentioned earlier “enemy within” and it is BN Coalition itself which will give Adenan some concerns. He not only have to deal with the warring godfather factions of UPP-SUPP/TERAS-SPDP but also those veteran and underperformed YBS in his PBB stable.

Of course, the Generals men wants to be appointed as candidates as they too are winnable and would not want to be dropped. The lists will be drawn out and it will be very ugly within and there will not be too many compromises as the CM will need to vet through carefully and do a thorough scanning as not only they are winnable but also whether when they  received the new mandate they will at least  listen and respect the Chair of the Chief Minister.

Many are clinging on to the Generals coat tails hoping that their Chief will not abandon them when it matters most.

Where are the areas where they will be changes will be our next Series. Slowly we will be revealing the names and places and what the Chief Ministers Men have to engage to bring sanity to the office of the Chief Minister even though the  Mandate is a Borrowed One which in itself is a Reality.

One would love to give more quotes out but his would be enough to spice up some eager cyber troopers who will want to defend their Generals turf. No point as the bullets that will rained own will not even penetrate the force field that is in place.

It is indeed miraculous to say the least that we have come so far, survived and yet we are still not rewarded in the manner that many before us have found fame and fortune and are seen enjoying their rich pickings. Remember those Infamous words hurled at us,”YOU STILL ALIVE…NO! WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN”

Like we said earlier, what we have above our neck will be enough to DERAIL AND EVEN FORCE A MAJOR STORM to Sarawaks Administration before the Chief Ministers Men took control of the CM Chair. Did we not see hurrying and scurrying of the Generals Men when they crisscross the entire state of Sarawak?

Our love is for our beloved Sarawak State to be in harmony and peacefull state with very little outside interference. Next Series will be tastier and mind blowing as we get into the groove.

Let’s wish CM Adenan a Good start after much turbulences and he has achieved so much in 1 year in office. The Generals Men the Series will be till Number 13th and if you need reminding please go back to Series One and how it will all unfold.
