BN Plus “U-Turn..Home comforts of Kam Pua Politics..!!”

aeeeeeIt’s a sucker punch.

According to a TERAS member and former SPDP SC,”We remember very well at the PRS headquarters in the Press Conference that James Masing said,”a certain personality” must not be there.” Now is it done just to derail the CM Adenan’s earlier masterplan?

After some investigative works, we were informed that prior to the afternoon Press Conference on May 15th 2014 when this plan was given the go-ahead of getting the “YBS without a home together” Mawan was still indecisive. How could he betray his good friend and ‘ally” in Tiong King Sing?

Mawan was in a dilemma or was he? …Wouldn’t you be..when you are about to betray a Friend of many years..?

In reality, he could be MISLED according to sources from the ground. It could be seen clearly who initiated the rebellion as per the press conference led by the former SPDP youth secretary and the former SPDP women secretary The  leaders and some ” hardcore” members of S.C. look at this as ‘opportunity” to teach Tiong a lesson and also to be given positions and other perks.

Politics changes all the time and their days are “numbered” and they will be scrapheap soon if the next phrase of Political re-alignment comes to fruition. They will have their names in the annals of the history books if ‘someone” decides to write.

The women secretary took herself out of the equation when she smelt a rat. She has since kept a low profile which is a credit to her. SPDP members who are still with the party have not forgotten about this episode and they will gladly welcome back their former President but of course the rests have to join the queue while some will end up put in a very cold and isolated freezer.

This was the PC,” Sixteen divisional Youth chiefs, claiming to represent 5,263 members, and 10 divisional Women chiefs, claiming to represent 10,000 members, announced they have quit Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP). http://www.theborneopost.com/2014/05/19/26-youth-and-women-division-chiefs-say-quitting-spdp-to-join-teras/

Led by former SPDP Youth secretary Khairuddin Abdul Kadir and former SPDP Women secretary Olivia Chan, they announced at a press conference yesterday that they wanted to join their former party president Tan Sri William Mawan in the newly formed Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras).”

How come SPDP is still very much intact they ask..? Who was the schemer?

If the leaders had ten of thousands party members with them no one would dispute that. If they dare to take the lead they will be the first to face the wrath of the political in coming storm. Please don’t put the blame that its the Chief Minister Adenans Plan. The whispering campaign plus ‘pokok goyang”have even gone as far as “Adenan failed”

What happened in the Pullman hotel where and when the YBS met and subsequent meetings does not point to Adenan? Lets get it clear ,don’t lah if its not working blame Mr.Oooh ha oooo ha oooo ha. The “so-called plotters” failed.

Mawan and Tiong should have “kampua mee “together and see where they can go from here.

Mawan is a survivor and a very tenacious one and he should know that those who promised the world in terms of numbers should not be championing for themselves anymore but be blown away like the mists.

They know who they are and they must be willing to take the fall. Mawan and Tiong love their ‘charkueh tiaw” and kampua mee.

Pic 1Masing has already won the battle. He won it without even a fight. He had the BN “merger of minds” . The 11 new allocated seats are a lifeline to Adenan. He knows it and he will use this to achieve his mandate. Adenan already spelt it out clearly where the battleground is. Its the rural areas and he will not sacrifice his high ground to the opposition and more so to the infighting between TERAS/SPDP.

The “Sarawak for Sarawakians” movement is another factor which must not be taken lightly especially in the rural areas where ‘drumming into the minds” does take effect to especially to the younger set of voters.

Adenan have informed the BN coalition partners and grassroots members know the ‘history”  of all the opposition parties and their members. He will plan everything before he calls for elections. He understands the situation but does Mawan,Tiong,Masing know whether he wants them to fight head-on or call for a strategic truce of some kind.

Adenan as commander in chief  would not take too much risks or chances. He will go back to his drawing board and assess. This must have  cropped up in his mind when he was the executor behind Taib Mahmud. Its time for his executors to also know.

” The D-Day invasion of Europe was one of the most thorougly organised in history. With 175000 troops from four countries involving 5000 ships.every detail was planned scientifically. The invasion was practised for months in various venues. During the run up to the invasion, the Allies created various “DECEPTIONS” about where and when the invasion would occur”

Sarawakians-must-realise_1024x576There must be a carefull balance and he knows the ‘dayak sentiments” and groundswell is gaining momentum as new and untested young dayak voters are very well informed. The dayaks would want very much to be “recognised and respected” after struggling to get a firm footing. If the Merger is realised there should not be U-Turn.

The BN candidate will be nominated by the party and agreed in principle by the BN4 team. of course its the prerogative of the BN State Chairman but he too needs to get the blessing from the overall BN Chairman. The BN candidate needs to be elected by the people and it is also up to the party to lobby for Ministerial posts. The final say in lobbying will be up to the Chief Minister as its his prerogative. That’s basically the standard operating procedure for all assemblymen.

In this Merger process the UPP/SUPP dilemma should not be brought up. The parties of PRS/SPDP/TERAS will be showing them the way and no one should stay in the way and act as spoiler. This could be used as a yardstick to show that even how bitter the pill it could be swallowed.

Mawan a veteran politician knows when the bricks are being pilled in, he of all people would not want to stay there and be buried under it. There are indications from our various sources that  Barisan Nasional leaders would welcome such a movement which will make BN stronger going into the State elections.

James loves a good kampua too and he does get it all the time when he pays a visit to Belaga which is also a PRS stronghold. Mawan and Tiong loves a Peninsular “Char Kueh Tiaw” but if invited by Tiong for a local foochow  “Kam Pua Mee” he would come. Having said that,”the rebellious few who only champions for themselves must be put in the back burner for now.

Joseph Entulu knows that PRS being a strong and solid party needs to look at all options first and he could put a stumbling block to the “merger of minds’ of PRS/SPDP/TERAS.

The enemy is not outside of BN. It is inside and those who don’t try to resolve their differences will not escape the eyes of the executors. The Commander in Chief besides the executors have his two Generals in Johari and Tengah those rebellious few will be spent force.

Adenan and his executors knows Sun Tze’s central thesis that is “YOU CAN AVOID FIGHTING WHEN YOU PLAN THE RIGHT STRATEGY

The first move has been initiated by SPDP in their August 16th Supreme Council meeting. Adenan knows the battlefield well and he has scars to prove it. Adenan cannot afford this large scale war amongst BN component  parties and BN friendly parties to continue. The opposition will capitalise and the voters will turn their backs especially so when there is infighting. Time to end all the bickering and go into battle as a solid front will be BN and Adenans chances of an overwhelming majority.

Then his Oooo ha’s will sent a strong signal to everyone that its his MANDATE ………

“Betrayal of the Highest Order in Coalition Eyes..?”

no confidenceAre there any thing worse in politics than to go against the President of your own Party and the Chief Administrator of the State? Well, if you say NO.,,you just go ahead with what you are doing.

Even the best negotiator in the market there are a few (do we need to name names) will find it difficult to go against the POLITICAL DECISION.

In the midst of all the misunderstanding there lies a bigger picture for the group of recalcitrants to have their hands on. The Holy Grail( The Presidents) chair is what they want and Prsident William has been told about it very bluntly.

Its not about calling an EGM or to have a forum to stop the readmittance of the G4. It’s CLEAR AND VERY PRECISE THE MOTIVE BEHIND THE THREE VOTING SLIPS.

We are pretty sure that there will be excuses and such and all sorts of LAME EXCUSES. One senior member of the SC group knows and he himself uttered”It’s a political decision” but less than a minute after walking out their so call acceptance of the decision turned sour.

They moved their “modus operandI’ to muster all the divsions to go with them with sweet talk and also that the moves made by the President contravene the party decisions passed by the Supreme Council.

We are just wondering and crying out loud,” HELLOOOOOOOO are you all in a political organisation of in a charity organisation run by persons handing out GOODIES?

They will knives, arrows and even usage of mystical forces directed at yours sincerely but when it comes down to defending the Chief Minister and the President of the Party on a political decision I will stand FIRM and will not be MOVED.

This I will also tell my 2% insider source that I do stand by my principles and that’s “when good people do nothing the whole world will be in Chaos” I am willing to write this article not based on hearsay but facts and luring out the ‘recalcitrants” to come back on the right path. There are many negotiators for them and “some are doing it” to capitalise on the situation. Please do not be overzealous and selfish as GREED will overcome your senses.

Seriously, haven’t the Wanita Wing of SDPDP been used as GUINEA PIG..? which ultimately means “SOMEONE IS TRULY RUSHING TO SIT ON THE COVETED “PRESIDENTS CHAIR.?”

We want to say more but in any tactical battles we need to have some reserves and see how our FRENEMY moves too.(see..https://audie61.wordpress.com/2014/04/19/spdp-shocked-and-total-disbelief/

It will be a short battle or it could turn to be a long winters day. Stay tuned….(latest the ground is swelling as battle lines are drawn..on the ground visitations by ONE GROUP)

SPDP”…007 Shaken not Stirred..??”

frenemyIan Fleming’s fictional British Secret service agent James Bond would have loved to play a part in this ongoing ding dong battle between the Deputy’s “boiling hot” group of disgruntled SC members and the ICE cooled President William Mawan and his men.

Many have been telling Churchill Edward that he needs “some security” but he keeps on avoiding to make a report on the number of “provocative and unwarranted” smses. We too have received some from other members but of course we have already activated our defence system.

Gag-Order is of course in place and is duly followed with no dirty linens thrown but this “threat” is  well below the political belt so it will receive attention from many viewers in the blogsphere.

Churchill said he is “stirred and not shaken” and in Bond’s movies only two are not in tandem. One is Casino Royale, which Bond, after losing millions of dollars in a game of poker, is asked if he wants his martini shaken or stirred, and snaps, “Do I look like I give a damn?” and the other time was in You only Live twice-“That’s, um, stirred not shaken. That was right, wasn’t it?” To which Bond replies politely, “Perfect.”

My friend, and for the safety of a good journalists we think that he must look beyond the “friendship” as in politics no one will remember losers. Could his friend (FRENEMY) now cares about his wellbeing? No way and I can bet my last dime that his FRENEMY will do his utmost to topple Churchill to shut him up good and proper. Are you still in doubt? That means you are reading a wrong article. Turn and log out and restart your computer. It’s pop backup to this page and you too have been stirred up and not shaken.

Bro..please tell your friend to do something. Maybe you can put this in. My friend send me this message,”shaken, not stirred” is used to mean “having had a shock but not suffering lasting mental effects from it“.

This is no more 007 my friend and below are the very smses between Churchill who is stirred by it all but his usual cool poise is affected slightly. Even his voice shakes when he stresses a point. So after reading all the smses below his friends not FRENEMY better advice him to be on guard. The battle lines are drawn by the loyalists and disgruntled members and one SC member even said to audie61..”IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

The smses..”Bros,Today I received a ‘not so nice”sms from an anonymous accusing me of changing and forging minutes of supreme council  meeting. I politely smsed him back that I am not privy to any minute and I asked him to ask somebody else.Tq( I believei will be getting more sms like this in the days to come.I will share with you.” –This is to his friends and members aligned to President William Mawan .

This is the anonymous 1st SMS”Slmat pg en.churchil kenapa kamu berani memalsukan minit meeting sup konsil.Kamu buat spdp mjadi parti plasu dokumen.Tak perlu kita tipu walaupun slah

2nd sms”Memang kamu bukan pegang.Tapi kamu yg memalsukan.Semua orang tahu.SEDIH ada orang berniat jahat macam kamu dlm parti

3rd sms”Apa apa pun kamu kata, memang sah kamu lah orang nya.Harap polis siasat nanti”

Churchills reply -1st ( Good morningsir, anda sendiri pun tahu bukan saya buat pegang minit.Sila Tanya orang lain.Tq)

Churchill said to us “I was stirred up this morning by an anonymous sms that accused me of forging minutes. How to forge? It’s not like its a hire and purchase agreement. Any minute will still have to be tabled and for all members of SC to see and approved in the next SCM( supreme council meeting)

We also have in our hands the telephone number which we were informed not to disclose at this Material time.

Obviously the message is crystal clear that Churchill will not back stab his friend no matter how grievous the harm has been done and he still have the forgiving heart. The issue though is they are looking at Churchill as being the one that they can shake and deliver the death kneel to the ice cool Mawans group. Mawans loyalists are clinging on to the HOPE which one SC member says and the 2% window of reconcialtion.

Is there a need to go to this extend? In many political battles many have also suffered badly and some lives have also been losts.  The political virus does penetrate the gullible and it will affect their everyday lifes and the poison is unstoppable unless one has a HARDEDED HEART AND SOUL.

The gifts have been offered and now its the results which is the FINAL DEMAND. Lets draw all the instigators out to stop the harm it will affect the preparations for Barisan Nasional towards the State Elections. Its time to be RUTHLESS and let those who think selfishly to join the ranks of the VANQUISHED.

Don’t worry Churchill many are still with you eventhough they try to get to you…

YOU JUST…”CALL OUT MY NAME AND I’LL BE THERE..”

SPDP…”THE NEW MENU …?”

tutuThe President’s Men have been receiving a lists of the lineup. Is this a spin or has it reached th stage of no return? Remember we were told by our source from the deputies camp and its clearly stated that there are only 2% left for reconcialition .?

WHO IS USING THE FEAR TACTIC? Certainly not Mawans Loyalists.

We were further reminded to look at Article VII 1.(i)Unless..is being expelled from the Party subsequently the Deputy President shall 2.(ii) deputise and act for the President in the latters absence as specified in Article Vi Clause 14 (i)

At the EGM the delegates present can and shall pass every and any RESOLUTION by a simple majority vote of delegates present.

After passing their resolution to remove the President by virtue of “Incompetency” THEY WILL USE ARTICLE V 5.(i) (ii) and 6. (two weeks notice given to every REGISTERED SPDP Division and all persons eligible to attend the General Assembly)

The NEW MENU thus reads like this:-

President DST (MP Btu)

MELUAN Paul Igai (future Deputy President)

BATU DANAU-Prof Syaufig

BEKENU-X Senator Pau

TASIK BIRU- Tony Abang

PAKAN- Ting Kew Ming

BA KALALAN-Robert Ayu

KRIAN- Dtk Peter Nyarok

MARUDI-Alexander Asing Sadai

SENATOR-CHIEW YEN CHIEW

Political Secretaries

Wan Lah,Theresa Udam,Michael Siten and Elizabeth Ting

and Wendy Trang assigned to be Secretary General.

SO IT DOES SEEM TIONG’S MEN ARE ON THE MOVE…

Even sources are telling us that the Secretary General Nelson Balang is unmoved by calls of persuasion and a path for him to return back to Mawan’s side. However like we were told that 2% window is still open and some will bear the brunt if the knives fall. Remember Mawan and Tiong are very good friends and there are no permanent enemies in politics.

YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD..

SPDP-” Shocked and Total Disbelief…??”

iiiii2The on-goings in the SPDP ‘admission of the G4’ has escalated into a full scale skirmish which was inevitable given the “love and hate relationship between the two groups“. The person in between the two groups slugging it out appears to be the Deputy President of SPDP who remains at the moment very much in the background.

The moment will come when he has to ‘rear his head and showhand” and the date is ever so closer as he moves his ‘loyalists” of around 25 SC members to convene a SC meeting on the 26th of April at 10.30am. One source even have the courage to inform the writer that there is only 2% left for reconciliation between the President and the Deputy.President who were very much ‘good friends”. Have they now become sworn enemies or are now “FRENEMY“?

FRENEMY now as common as “SELFIE” used in the social media fraternity as “”A slang term used to describe a photo that is taken of oneself for the purpose of uploading it to social networking sites and image sharing websites. Now Have Mawan and Tiong being lured to be a “FRENEMY“? Your guess is as good as mine. Well,Ah ha mine will be more solid an argument though. Lets dissect what is FRENEMY first….

The word that we are going to use very often from now on is “FRENEMY” or in other words political manouevering to the advantage of the situation and disregarding the very essence of REAL politics. Of course in politics they say there is no number 2.and we will not take any prisoners along and tagging with us.

The buzz word of FRENEMY at this instant is of course the “readmission of the G4 who was sacked from the party for insub-bordination and gross indiscipline but who was readmitted by words of just “reinstate” So whats the fuss on all these? Someone is taking advantage of THE SITUATION for own personal gains and to elevate himself higher. Who is still playing catchup on the situation?

The question too is now why the G4 has been so quiet and letting the two “FRENEMY” having a slugging match within the party and outside in the public domain. Why should they get involved? They were in the heat of the battle and have told the political world that they are still unacceptable by this group led by Deputy President.

To put it our interpretation FRENEMY is” We can know our enemy but it is always the known friend which backstabs us ‘invincibly’ which will not hurt until all our political know how are drained out

ARE YOU SHOCKED OR IN TOTAL DISBELIEF THAT SPDP IS FACING THIS ..?

  • Where are we getting at in this article?.
  • Who are the fingers pointing towards for all the inability to control the disgruntled and dissenting voices within the party?
  • What is behind all these which the Deputy is pursuing?
  • Why are they doing this at this time when a new CM in Tan Sri Adenan who have just being sworn in?
  • How will the group in open defiance and no self control be able to oust the President?

Have you answered them all? Retract back when we said one source have said that there are only 2% left. There are no clearer answers than what we will put in below and he is throwing the constitutional book and also in open defiance of the State Barisan Nasional Chairman Tan Sri Adenan to wrestle the Presidents seat.

ARTICLE 14 (i) “The Deputy President will assume the posts as Acting President and act on his behalf as the President have failed in his duties to safeguard the Party’s interests and thereby is not able to perform his duties and functions.”

The Supreme Council in which Tiong has is 25 out of 39 and he has the simple majority to call for a SC meeting to push for an EGM (extra ordinary meetingi) and which they will certainly use Article XXIII to further their cause.that is the decision by the SC upon any question of interpretation of the constitution will be final and will rests upon the General assembly members who will be present.

Furthermore they will use article XVI clause 28(i) to make their cause more solid to entice the President and his men to come to the meeting to hear their dissention.

There was already a gag order implemented by the Barisan Nasional Sarawak Chairman but their overtones in this case was overpowering. An sms which we received late gives more cause for concern.

It reads,”Bro.you know this evening I heard a lot of people talking about Tiong big plans to become President as soon as possible…n he has been pouring money to buy everybody with big varying amounts…he is in a hurry to become President cos he wants to pursue the Agenda od SPDP-SUPP merger so he becomes President of SPDP…after merger he becomes President of the merged entity..bringing dayaks under Chinese domain cos Chinese will become majority..do we want this to happen to Dayaks in SPDP..get views from President as to whether this can be exploited to get Dayaks in SPDP to reject Tiong’s ledership.the money pouring in is extensive in central and north regions.pls share with our gp people

It’s good Tiong has a vision to be Acting President but it does seem he is too much in a hurry. His source says “time is the essence‘he cannot wait” Does this mean him or his people? Moreover if its delayed to next year 2015 for the General Assembly he and his team will be IRRELEVANT.

Mind you he will still be a Member of Parliament for Bintulu and Acting President of SPDP who might or shall we say unfriendly to BN Sarawak. We are not putting ideas into Tiongs mind and am sure he has more than what it takes to challenge the President and the CM of Sarawak in Tan Sri Adenan Satem. He is capitalising on the weaknesses of Mawan.

He can do that and may we remind him,”Where absolute superiority is not obtainable, you must produce a relative one of the decisive point by making skilful use of what you have “-Carl von Clausewitz

Tiong and his men are concentrating on their strength but they might have just misread some POLITICAL OVERTONES….(this we leave it for them to think…should not reveal too much should we..?)

What too have prompted Tiong to go charging forward besides the G4 is the humiliation he was told by SUPP leaders on his busybodiness to interfere (good intentions or not) in SUPP affairs. Reliable sources have informed us that he was deeply hurt and wants to teach SUPP leaders a good lesson. He has worked wonders and ousted the then president of MCA (Malaysia Chinese Association) and what is SUPP compared to MCA?

Tiong of all persons should know the procedure that everything has to go through the party including convening an EGM for major decisions. At this juncture, whatever he (Tiong) does is his own initiative on his personal capacity and not sanctioned by the party,” the leader stressed.

Not only SUPP have condemned Tiong but also his party SC members. Its a double humiliation and knowing the spark in Tiongs belly he is not pulling the handbrake on this matter. This would fit perfectly the plan to move himself to the President’s Chair and thereby manoeuvre a saving grace for SUPP. Its all to save “waterface” for Tiong  and not a “political one” which the State administration have in mind.

Tiong needs to move rapidly but they will be many obstacles in front of them and in the end Tiong’s Win all Attitude will suffer the same fate like many before him. Never ever challenge the state leaders unless you are in cohorts with the Opposition. Might as well join the opposition front don’t you think..!! Agree..

The very word of “everyone has a price” will send shivers to many who greed for a little more. However in any conflicts Tiong must be reminded that it is not only him who can give the “golden tickets or use the ugly side”  but both can play the same game.

The writer was reminded before he bid farewell remember how the cock crew three times as what was written in the bible. Principled men will all not be easily taken in by promises at the end of the rainbow but will be able to read the political situation of the day.

Many of Tiong’s men are still caught sleeping with their hands outstretched while others have moved on with the times.

They have long been obligated to…..

SPDP”Threats Directed towards SC Member”

Be it by phone call or smses or whatsapp a threat by anyone should not be taken lightly. The person directed at will be emotionally aggravated and he will be subjected to political stress. This is the life where many in the political field are facing and we cannot blame them for having “security” surrounding them. Political foes can get very EMOTIONAL and they will unleashed all their political muscle to achieve their aims.

We do feel ever so sorry for many political boys but that’s the PATH they choose. Will Churchill Edward be able to withstand the pressure and stress after what he has spoken to the press.?

We wouldn’t dare to say yes or no…

Decision to readmit sacked assemblymen endorsed by SPDP supreme council

Those questioning the re-admission of the four assemblymen into SPDP may have an ulterior motive, according to party’s deputy information chief Churchill Edward. He says these dissenting voices were in the party’s supreme council that unanimously agreed to the re-admission not once but twice — on Feb 23 and March 6. KUCHING: The decision to re-admit the four sacked assemblymen into SPDP was a unanimous decision by the party’s supreme council.

Its deputy information chief Churchill Edward Drem in a statement said it was totally wrong to say their admission was done solely by party president Tan Sri William Mawan.

“The decision to re-admit the G4 was made by the supreme council on Feb 2, which was subsequently relayed to Chief Minister (Tan Sri Adenan Satem) on March 6 at his office in Petra Jaya where Deputy Chief Minister (Tan Sri Alfred Jabu) and Housing Minister (Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg) were also present.

“During that meeting, the supreme council members had reaffirmed their earlier decision to re-admit the G4 before the Chief Minister,” he pointed out.

Churchill, who is also Muara Tuang SPDP secretary, issued the statement to rebut the call by “anonymous group” calling for Mawan to explain why and how he re-admitted the sacked assemblymen into the party.

According to Churchill, the supreme council members kept silent when asked, first by Mawan and secondly by Adenan, whether there was any objection.

Mawan and Adenan took the silence as consent to the re-admission of the G4 assemblymen, comprising Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie (Tasik Biru), Datuk Sylvester Entrie (Marudi), Rosey Yunus (Bekenu) and Paulus Palu Ngumbang (Batu Danau).

Following the unanimous decision, Adenan then witnessed the official re-admission of the four as SPDP ordinary members at another meeting at his office on March 19, he added.

Churchill said almost all the supreme council members were present at the Chief Minister’s Office to re-affirm their decision.

“All of them also clapped their hands as sign of approval at the end of the session with the Chief Minister.”

Given the solid approval by the party’s supreme council members, Churchill said the anonymous group should demand the supreme council and not Mawan for the explanation.

“In fact, the anonymous group also owes party members an explanation on why they demanded the president to explain what had been decided by the supreme council,” he suggested.

Churchill also said that Mawan had duly explained the re-admission issue to party members through subsequent forums including his chairman’s address during the supreme council meeting on Feb 23.

“I find (the demand by the anonymous group) illogical, ridiculous and an attempt to embarrass the party, the president and Chief Minister.

“I also think they are probably having an ulterior agenda as I could not see any other reason for their persistence in demanding the president to explain what had already been explained.”

Churchill also questioned the group’s motive in calling for an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) just for the president to explain the re-admission when they (members of the anonymous group) were probably part of the supreme council that made the decision.

With the Feb 23 supreme council and quorum being established as proper, it was beyond reasonable doubt that the re-admission was fully endorsed by the supreme council, Churchill said.

“That was why we all went to meet the Chief Minister to re-affirm and re-confirm that there was indeed a discussion on the reconciliation issue.

“We were not there to bluff the Chief Minister. If they (dissenting group) said the president had acted alone, then why were all of them at the Chief Minister’s office on March 6 and also on March 19?” he said, adding that Mawan ought not respond to the anonymous group because its identity was suspect.

On a separate issue involving attempts to put a wedge between Mawan and his deputy Datuk Tiong King Sing, Churchill said he believed it would be futile because at the end of the day, both would remain as friends and comrades in SPDP and Barisan Nasional’s fold.

SPDP Merdeka Rendezvous..?

william-mawan-and-spdp-300x202This message says it all,” All Supreme Council Members directed by YB Tan Sri President to meet for discussion/deliberations regarding G4 issue @ 2.00 pm 19/3/2014 at Merdeka Palace,Kuching.

It doesn’t come clearer than that does it…?

SPDP “Party First ,Personal Interests No..No.?”

mawan21An early morning interview around 830am at the Presidents residence would mean something ‘significant” would be happening for the day. President Tan Sri William Mawan was in a very casual and seemingly happy mood as we sat down for a cup of coffee.

He did not want to let the cat out of the bag but he did mention to us that “there were no conditions set for the return of the ‘sacked” members” I have extended the OLIVE BRANCH and with the recent developments and the blessings of the SPDP Supreme Council the door is open for them.

He pointed out to the news today and showed us,”This is because when the president said forgive and forget, let bygones be bygones, to us what we understand it to be is we forget completely about the past and start everything anew. What has to be done now is to reinstate us.”
Should I say more Mawan asked? Tan Sri Mawan as usual was very cool and calculated in his approach. He has faced the worst in all with all the ‘dirt” thrown at him for the past three years and many names “BESTOWED UPON HIM”- (unprintable as some were very unpleasant).

He told us in so many words. This is politics and whatever has happened has happened. If I thought of my own personal interests before the party wouldn’t SPDP be in a worst state. Do you think honestly we would not have closed shop? The party is the main priority and the former chief minister and the current Chief Minister knows what is bests for the party. The party wins not Tan Sri Mawan. You write this down he told us.

The members and the BN family would be very happy when  all is stabilised. We are not meek but we withstood the challengers when some of our members went astray. I am answerable as a leader of SPDP and as a leader I welcome them back to start a new chapter for the party.

WHAT has been said and exchanged is now history and today at 12.30pm we will visit the Chief Minister. This will be a new beginning for SPDP and we wait for the moment. SPDP will be there for BN and we will continue to serve the rakyat to the bests of our parties ability and we hope not to revisit the dark years again.

Tan Sri Mawan gave a short brief and direct interview as he had to attend to another function at Four Points at 930 am.

The 1230pm meeting with the Chief Minister of Sarawak is attached below.

SPDP Buries Three-year Feud To Accept Sacked Four

KUCHING, March 6 (Bernama) — The Sarawak  Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) ended three years of feud with its four former senior members that it sacked for insubordination by accepting them back Thursday.
State assemblymen for Tasik Biru, Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie, Datuk Sylvester Entri Muran (Marudi), Rosey Yunus (Bekenu) and Paulus Palu Gumbang (Batu Danau) were reinstated as members of SPDP with immediate effect, said Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
Adenan, who had been instrumental to see the readmission of the four back into the party, said their return was historical and should come as a positive step and a good news for the Barisan Nasional (BN).
“They will just be ordinary members of SPDP. But come the next (SPDP) triennial delegates conference, they can contest (for positions in the party),” Adenan, who is also Sarawak BN chairman, told a press conference here.
Earlier, he received a courtesy call from the SPDP Supreme Council led by their president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom.
Prior to being sacked from the party between 2011 and 2012, Nansian was a SPDP senior vice-president, with Entri and Rosey as vice-presidents and Paulus as assistant information chief.
Adenan also refused to commit himself on whether the four would be nominated again to contest in their present constituencies in the next state election due in 2016 by saying: “We will cross the bridge once we reach it.”
Meanwhile, Mawan said former Mas Gading Member of Parliament, Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe who was sacked together with the four could not be reinstated immediately as the latter had contested against BN in the 13th general election.
However, he said Dr Tiki could submit his application separately to rejoin the party.
Dr Tiki, who was apparently disappointed for not being re-nominated to defend the Mas Gading seat, lost to BN newcomer Anthony Nogeh Gumbek in last year’s election.
