“Authenticity” Mawan MP205

What does the press/media love about Mawan? It’s his Authenticity .

authenticityThere is nothing short of his leadership qualities when he answers questions with calmness, there is no air of ‘aloofness’ , he always respects the journalistic views and opinions. The media plays a significant role in his political journey and he himself is very mindful of that.

The constituents of Saratok have greatly benefited too as he has shown to be the Member of Parliament they can trust and who sticks to his guns in deliverance. He is not without ‘flaws” too but above all he is a willing learner and he tries his utmost to put wrongs to rights. This can be attributed to his over 20 years  years serving as Minister in the State Government.

When the lobbyists are attacking him as BN/MP incumbent from all quarters he takes it in his stride and walks that extra mile. It does seem until today the PDP lobbyists have not politically attack the opposition but instead have given “PROMINENCE ON THE POPULARITY” of the PKR Krian assemblyman in Ali Biju.

A lobbyists James Chella even have kind words,”Ali Biju is a good man.He is being honest with the people. When he got no money,he told the rakyat frankly.”

Now another lobbyists Basil Thomas has thrown caution to the wind,”Unless someone is willing to give way or the party’s top leaders and BN leadership intervenes, the situation in Saratok can be a bit confusing.

Subeng Mula meanwhile talks about,”mission and vision in Saratok to bring more development and socio-economic progress in the parliamentary constituency.”

It must be noted that during the 2013 elections SPDP in Saratok was in disarray and Mawan and his team not only managed to defeat the popular Ali Biju by a sound majority.

The Press Media published this,”major feat considering Ali’s growing popularity as assemblyman for Krian (one of the state seats under Saratok) and the open defiance showed by some SPDP members in Saratok who did not agree to his nomination.”  Wednesday August 21st 2013

The Chief Minister of Sarawak Abang Jo have worked with Mawan in his time as Minister and he knows Mawan well enough to address him as “POK” which is only used locally by those who feels ‘comfortable and close”to the person.

The PM Najib was the commander in chief who came down personally to lend support to Mawan when others have mixed feelings on his candidacy.

Mawan have been working the ground for his constituency since 2013 and have not stopped since being elected as a first timer Parliamentarian. On June 17th 2017 he talked about “Imbroglio in Saratok” and his willingness to RELINQUISH the Pakan State seat.

The electorate have shifted towards him and in recognition of that most of them are hoping and pinning their hopes of him serving them for a 2nd Term as their VOICE in Parliament.

The MP for Saratok tries in his capacity to uplift the constituents livelihood by showing them the way through government aided programmes. This has greatly benefited the families their economic struggles and yielded many plus points.

There are a now a lot more BELIEVERS who want to be part of  Mawan’s political journey for Saratok.

One voter said about the MP,”it is hard to judge his strengths (beyond an almost superhuman resilience) when you consider the obstacles placed in his path.” There has been a lot of opposition before in 2013 and Mawan pulled through with a solid majority and delivered. Mawan will deliver the seat to BN without question.

The lobbyists are facing an uphill struggle and they should have got their targets right instead of working for self interest and HOPING to be the chosen one.

BN intelligence knows a thing or two and they will not be misled by voices appearing at the dawn of an election.

Mawan’s Authenticity and his Patience Trait in his political journey is a media dream and he will will always give the journalists something to pursue.

Mawan will gladly put it ,”It’s not about style. It’s the person inside of you,

Mawan,”It’s Time for Consolidation…”

It’s that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas.

The people of Saratok will certainly experience the cheers and happiness. The organising committee under the Saratok MP together with the Kalaka and Kabong ADUNS  plus various agencies in Saratok have lined up a very comprehensive programme.

  1.  Pre-Christmas Gathering Open House on 23rd December 2017
  2.  Saratok Regatta 26th-29th December 2017
  3.  “Ambang Tahun Baru 2018”

The MP Saratok is very enthusiastic and very happy with the preparations being put in by all concerned. The support by the people towards the upcoming events is overwhelming and Mawan puts it as “A Show of Unity by all Races in Saratok”  aamawan christmas

Mawan commented that this was all possible as in his first term as a Parliamentarian he has focused on Consolidating the Support Base.

Mawan further explained that,’Its persuasive and accommodating at the same time and nothing to shy which the people will support when you carry out your duties as a People’s representative.

He continued, “Don’t Condemn” those who opposed you but when you are persuasive enough you will be able to unify everyone. The benchmark  is set for Saratok and  everyone will be able to enjoy the benefits as the development plans of Saratok intensifies with various initiatives and people-centric projects lined up.

On the sidelines from the upcoming events, the Incumbent BN MP touched on some political viewpoints for BN. He said he has consolidated the BN stronghold and have made considerable headway into the ‘kelabu hitam” (greyish black areas) of the opposition in Krian which BN did not do too well in 2013.

All efforts are being intensified and he continued,”one should be well prepared before engaging the enemy in a battle instead of fighting on the off-chance.”

Barisan Nasional knows that they have the right man for the tasks ahead and if any of the lobbyists are fielded they will be seen as “fodder” or “easy meat” for the opposition in GE14.

Mawan doesn’t want to blow his trumpet but he knows how to win a battle and he says the WORST is yet to come and he is well prepared to face the people for a fresh mandate  for a 2nd term as a Member of Parliament to represent the Saratok Constituency.

His political experience in winning the peoples hearts for BN will be vital for the coalition and when he touched on this subject of winning an election his eyes brightens up and he is ever ready to utilise his years of polltical experience.

He goes on to say that coaxing and luring them to your side is no easy feat but with positive persuasion they will eventually see the light of the day.

His words are nothing short of inspiration and he does feel somewhat “sorry”for the lobbyists when they appear to go head on against him.

What have they done against the opposition in PKR? Seriously, for the lobbyists it’s a little too late to wage a war now against PKR when they should have done it much earlier.

Mawan has consolidated the Fort for BN in Saratok and his political expertise will be invaluable for the ruling coalition. PDP will want the seats but it’s sad though that their lobbyists have not done enough to Justify the Faith the BN have in them.

It goes without saying that Barisan Nasional knows who their man is and deliver this  seat, ‘there is no need to talk about war,if an army has no certainty about its victory; and there is no need to talk about attack,if an attack is no certain to bring about the downfall of an enemy stronghold”

The majority of Saratok constituents are comfortable with Mawan who consolidates and unify them. They will stop at nothing to ensure that he continues to be their voice. The BN Federal Chairman and State BN Chairman have taken note of this too.

amawan17.jpgFor now the people of  Saratok will enjoy the year end activities and programmes put forward by the organising committee and they will be come out in numbers to show their appreciation.

Mawan “Welcomes all and wishes Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018”

Spat on Sarawak’s Rights turns to #Fakenews

It’s gone Viral and “someone”has taken  this opportunity to capitalize” on the subject matter in hand. The Chief Minister’s office has issued a statement to stop the rumours and the #FAKENEWS.

This must have been the result of that”someone”using the “PALOI” issue (see below) to get  even with the Chief Minister.

afake newsThe recent public spat between the controversial Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia and Chief Minister Abang Johari Abang Openg with regards to a public debate challenge on the “importance” of the Malaysian Agreement 1963 on the rightful status of Sabah and Sarawak.

The exchange got heated up and names were even thrown around, with the chief minister calling the speaker “paloi,” a local term for “stupid.
