Corrupted,Tainted..At What Price says Mahathir..??

I am always for the  BETTER GOOD of the country and as such my political conscience is crystal clear from the evils of being corrupted. One would surely say to me..You havent been given the chance to sit in the chair and how can we judge you..?? Surely, its about upbringing, social responsibilities  and above all OUR OWN PRINCIPLES.

Those who are picked to be YBs and MPs in todays political climate  says a political veteran observer needs to be ..( A WHITE NEW PAPER.) Pakatan had no choice in the last GE12 as not many GAVE THEM A GHOST OF A CHANCE and the current crop of YBs and MPs rode the peoples gravy train and gate crashed and BN suffered the losts of 5 states and 2/3rds majority in Parliament.

Ever since then the people in Malaysia has woken up to the very true word of PEOPLES REPRESENTATIVE. You reap what you sow and this article by Malaysiakini in which Mahathir has sounded the alarm bells ringing should be heeded.

U Tell them Mahathir as this country has enough CAPABLE,  RESPONSIBLE, NEW ,YOUNG SECOND ECHELON LEADERS…………..

Umno should pick a candidate who is free of money politics for the Bagan Pinang state by-election, former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

MCPX

He believed that the BN could win the by-election on Oct 11 with a big majority because the seat was Umno’s stronghold.

mahathir and rais yatim pc 190309 04Having corruption-free candidates would be a very important factor in Bagan Pinang as well as in the next general election, he told reporters after attending Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan’s Aidilfitri open house in Rantau here.

“For me, it’s not just this place. The people throughout Malaysia want to know whether we are serious about eradicating money politics, corruption and so forth,” he said.

While the former premier did not name any names, he was clearly referring to former Umno vice-president Isa Samad, whose supporters are campaigning for him to be picked as the candidate.

Isa, who was menteri besar of Negeri Sembilan from 1982 to 2004, rose rapidly within Umno ranks until he was accused of vote-buying.

NONEThat landed him in a six-year suspension by the Umno disciplinary committee but the punishment was shortened to three years.

Isa, who heads the Umno Teluk Kemang division, is believed to be seeking to make a political comeback by contesting the Bagan Pinang by-election.

While the Umno Teluk Kemang division, which include the Bagan Pinang state constitutency, has proposed Isa as the candidate for the by-election, the final decision will however be left to the top party leadership.

Dr M: Think of party, not individuals

azlanMahathir said that if Umno fielded an candidate who was not clean, it might win in Bagan Pinang but would lose in other constituencies.

He also feared that the party would lose badly in the 13th general election if the trend continued.

“I’m not thinking about individuals. I know everyone and I don’t care about anyone but I’m thinking only of the party,” he said.

The Bagan Pinang seat fell vacant following the death of incumbent Azman Mohamad Noor of the BN on Sept 4. Nomination is on Oct 3.

Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be announcing the Umno candidate for Bagan Pinang on Sept 29 during BN’s state level Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in Port Dickson.

Chua Soi Lek”Su Hock Ee”

e1443cbfc5ee4d339a2c59108d6e48b2

It was like any other Hari Raya Visitations to an old school friends house. The usual greetings and pleasantries were exchanged plus also the delight to see so many familier faces. Whats more the food laid out was…. Oooh SOoo appetising. There were many voices of different opinions especially as school mates meet they will be like old times in school eventhough that was nearly 20 years ago “all trying to be No.1 and be heard” Familiar..??

Of course each will try to say their own piece,”The economy, the political scenario (BN vs Pakatan) the educational system but the one that LIGHTED THE FIRE was the MCA No.2 deputy President Chua Soi Leck. One of my school mate hit the right chord when he said,”This Chua really Su Hock Ee ( Lose to Him translated from Hockien). He also seems so thick skinned and would not just disappear silently like most politicians of yesteryears would have. Would anyone of us fight like he does..?”

The MCA saga has gone overdrive and most of us gave the THUMBS UP to Chua for his perserverance and never say die attitude. One of them even say like Josephians never know when they are defeated. We will fight to the last drop of our blood. Surprisingly, most of us were very unhappy too with Ong Tee Keat for not being steadfast and be more accomodative towards a person who has already paid for his sins in being shamed. Even God forgive the sinners they say and why would Tee Keat not make use of the No.2 man to his advantage.

Has he forgotten about the rule book. Never question the No.1 but if the No.1 does not show respect and bulldozzes through without even telling the No.2 that is a sign of WEAKNESS. Even Najib consults Muhyddin on certain things before he moves his agenda. Im sure Anwar also does that said an old school mate. What makes Chua Soi Leck so prominent its because Ong gave him the PLATFORM and the OPPORTUNITY to hit back. Chua was already shamed with the video sex scandal but one of us added another phrase  in Hockien,” BIN POI KOW-meaning Thick skinned.

You all might be WONDERING WHY MCA…?? Why are we not touching on local politics or even UMNO,PKR ,DAP or PAS? Surely the PKFZ scandal and Tiong King Sings issue is worth a conversation.  Moreover there were about 20 of us and in a Malay friends house. The answer was in our year we were taught the right meaning of DIPLOMACY (Ong needs to learn from us hik hik hik ) and since some of us are from different political divides there was a NEED to follow the LINE OF NEUTRALITY. Chua Soi Lecks purported EGM and the possibility of the ouster of the MCA President is the TALK OF THE TOWN. Who is going to be the AYAM MASAK MERAH in this fight..??

We could go on and on on how this fight will pen out but like the good old days some one just “Detonated  a very good quiet atomic gas”It was signal and the wives in the other room were too happy that it was cut short. One of them even cheekily said ,” Got any steps learnt from each other and what about  the Booster or Viagra used by Chua Soi Leck. Just then one of them showed us this article and how ironic it was as we were talking about our friend Chua.

Posted and copied for all to make their own judgement.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 — Just when the MCA seemed all set to hold its extraordinary general meeting (EGM), in the wake of deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek’s dismissal, the party’s central committee (CC) has flexed its muscles to overturn the decision and suspend him for four years instead.

This begs the question of whether the power of the CC was overlooked, or even underestimated, in the fractious past weeks which saw more than a fair share of barbs traded between rival supporters of party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and Dr Chua.

“They overlooked the CC as an independent body and pre-empted us by going straight for an EGM which should be called only as a last resort, and not the first resort. Members should not have jumped the gun,” CC member Datuk Ti Lian Ker, of Pahang, told Bernama.

He said disgruntled members should have waited first to see how the CC would act before pushing for the EGM, now fixed for Oct 10, after the presidential council sacked Dr Chua for tarnishing the party’s image over a sex video scandal.

Ti said the party constitution empowered the CC to take disciplinary action  against any elected party official including to suspend or to expel with the support of two-thirds of the CC members present at the meeting.

Under Article 128 of the constitution, the CC has the final say on disciplinary matters and that cannot be challenged, even in a court of law.

Ti said he had insisted that Dr Chua’s issue be discussed at the marathon seven-hour CC meeting last Saturday, to show that the party president could not act arbitarily, or that the CC was just a rubber stamp.

Currently, there are 43 CC members, with 25 elected, seven appointed by the president while the rest are party office-bearers.

Ti denied that the CC’s move was tantamount to a lack of confidence in the presidential council, saying that at the same meeting the CC had overturned other disciplinary decisions as well.

Party sources said Dr Chua’s issue was brought up by Senator Datuk Wong Siong Hwee from Kelantan and all were given the opportunity to express their views, including the most senior CC member, Datuk Wong Mook Leong.

Wong re-told his experience when he was sacked during the party crisis in the 1980s, saying that a suspension would have a similar effect as an expulsion, the source said.

“Some CC members sympathised with Dr Chua. They felt there was no need to push an already broken man and believed he should be given a chance to salvage a bit of his shattered honour,” it added.

Ong, who chaired the meeting, had to “eat humble pie” in the face of the check and balance on his leadership by the CC, the source noted.

Enraged supporters of Dr Chua, however, hit back that it was not appropriate and an act of disrespect to the central delegates for the CC to discuss the matter as the rival factions had already agreed to the EGM and agenda.

Even Dr Chua spoke up: “Are they trying to say the CC is more supreme than the EGM?”

Party veteran Datuk Yap Pian Hon maintained the CC had the mandate because all decisions, including disciplinary matters, must go through both the presidential council and CC, the two decision-making organs in the party.

“If we stop at the presidential council level, it can be argued later that the decision is invalid because the due process was not complete,” he said.

Dr Chua’s supporters are pointing fingers that it was Ong who first called for an EGM on Aug 31, when they had barely started their signature campaign to push for one to annul Dr Chua’s sacking.

A political observer, who declined to be named, views the CC’s decision as a “smart tactical move” by Ong’s side to neutralise the sympathy factor towards Dr Chua for the EGM.

The suspension may cause some of the 2,377 delegates to reconsider their views and swing away from Dr Chua as he would only be a party member after four years.

After all, Dr Chua had said he wanted to die an MCA member, the observer noted. — Bernama

“YBs Resignation..No Tears,No Hurrah..”

Cindy received news earlier from a PKR innsider that one of their own from Kedah has resigned. The immediate reaction was ,”Who is he? Why he resigned? Whats happening? Where is heading to with the resignation? Its all questions and Cindy of audie 61 reposts this Malaysiakini report and hopefully there will be some answers for you:-

Kedah Pakatan has today been rocked with a defection – Lunas state assemblyperson Mohd Radzhi Salleh, who is also an executive council member, quit PKR citing loss of confidence in the party’s leadership.

He has announced himself as an independent state assemblyman.

Radzhi, 56, will nevertheless continue as Lunas seat representative as well as the state executive council post.

But his state cabinet post is in doubt as Kedah Menteri Besar Azizan Razak is likely to ask him step down from his tourism and community development portfoio.

With Radzhi’s resignation from PKR, the PAS-led government Kedah now has 21 seats against Barisan Nasional 14, with one Independent.

The Pakatan Rakyat state government is composed of PAS (16 seats), PKR (now 4) and DAP (1), while Umno makes up the bulk of BN with 12 seats while MCA and Gerakan has one each.

In an immediate reaction, PKR leaders said that Radzhi’s resignation could be triggered by a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigation into his tourism portfolio.

They also said that the PKR leadership had expressed dissatisfaction over his performance.

Padang Serai PKR division ‘dissolved’

Radzhi’s decision to quit PKR has not come as a surprise to Padang Serai parliamentarian N Gobalakrishnan.

“I was expecting it for a long time … he was close to Mahdzir Khalid (former Kedah menteri besar),” said the MP from Kedah, whose Padang Serai constituency includes the Lunas state seat.

Radzhi won Lunas in the general election last year defeating MIC’s S Ananthan Somasundram by 10,323 majority votes.

The other state seat under Gobalakrishnan’s constituency is Merbau Pulas held by PAS’ Siti Aishah Ghazali.

A key ally of Radzhi, acting Padang Serai PKR division chief Jamaludin Abu Hassan has also today announced that his division had been dissolved.

Gobalakrishnan said he had received numerous complaints on Radzhi’s poor performance from party members and voters over the past six months.

He claimed that Radzhi’s defection was timed to enable BN to reclaim the initiative in the Permatang Pasir by-election campaign in neigbouring Penang.

“Now Umno can portray PKR and Pakatan as crumbling in Kedah. By doing so, Umno thought it can fish some votes in Permatang Pasir.

“But the truth is PKR in Padang Serai and the Kedah Pakatan government are still strong, united and safe,” he told Malaysiakini.

BN seeks to engineer coup in Kedah

Defection rumours involving Radzhi first surfaced when former PKR leader V Arumugam quit as Kedah exco and Bukit Selambau assemblyperson in February.

S Manikumar won the Bukit Selambau state seat in the subsequent by-election in April.

Gobalakrishnan said the party supreme council had suspended Padang Serai division in April “for carrying out activities against PKR interests” during the Bukit Selambau by-election campaign.

Some Kedah PKR leaders indicated that the lack of strong PKR state leadership and the domination of PAS in the state government could well be other major factors that had influenced Radzhi’s decision to defect.

Last month, the sole DAP assemblyperson, Lee Guan Aik (Kota Darul Aman), had threatened to quit the state cabinet in protest over the relocation of a pig abbatoir.

“Radzhi was quiet unhappy with PAS leaders lately due to the lack of help from state government for him to carry out his exco duties and constituency works in Lunas.

“So when Umno came calling, he was tempted,” said an elected representative, adding that he would not be surprised if Radzhi joins Umno soon.

Another leader said he believed BN had always harboured hopes of luring all five PKR assemblypersons to secure the necessary numbers to topple the Kedah government.

If all PKR men were to jump ship, BN would have 19 seats against Pakatan’s 17, enough to form a razor-thin majority.

Besides Radzhi, the other PKR excutive councillors in Kedah are S Manikumar and Bakar Arang state representative Tan Wei Shu.

Manikumar is in charge of domestic trade and consumer affairs, Thai community affairs, plantation workers’ unity and Indian community affairs, while Tan is in charge of environment, Chinese community affairs and transport.

Later in the afternoon, Gobalakrishnan and a group of PKR supporters held an impromtu protest outside the Padang Serai constitutency service centre calling on Radzhi to quit his Lunas seat to pave way for a by-election .

PKR reps are Pakatan’s weakness link

Meanwhile, PKR election director Saifuddin Nasution said Radzhi’s defection would not cause much harm to PAS’ bid in winning the Permatang Pasir by-election.

“I don’t think Umno spin doctors can sway that many votes,” said the former Lunas assemblyperson who is now Machang parliamentarian.

He described Radzhi as a rotten apple in PKR and said the party was happy to see the back of him.

“We have always suspected this scenario would happen since six to seven months ago. PKR will be better without him.”

However, Saifuddin conceded that PKR elected representatives are the weakest link within the Pakatan coalition.

“It’s something that the party leadership needs look into seriously. Otherwise it will shake public confidence in us,” he said.

PKR supreme council member Saiful Izham Ramli has disputed the status of Padang Serai division.

He explained that the division had been suspended since last month after the party found both Radzhi and Jamaludin were engaging in secret talks with Umno leaders to plot against the Kedah state government.

Saiful said PKR Sungai Petani MP Johari Abdul had been tasked by the party to take over the division.

Interesting political Snippets:- Muhyiddin Yassin hinted more PKR lawmakers could quit the opposition party. Many PKR members and elected representatives no longer trust Anwar Ibrahim because they realise that the party’s struggles are only for meant one individual, that is Anwar,

Anwar PKR de facto leader denied rumours that more Kedah assemblyman would be following Radzhi’s footsteps.Anwar said he had received many complaints lately about Radzhi’s disciplinary problems, mismanagement of claims and marital problems.

Were Tears Shed by PKR and Hurrah by BN…We Wonder…??

MCA/SPDP “Baaaaaaaa..Conned..Hmmm”

SACRIFICIAL_LAMB[1]

Oh No! What else can I do? Cindy has this all wrapped up in this pictorial analysis….Very Happy to Help MCA says Tiong ….Baaaaaaaaaaa

This is the Malaysiakini report

RM1 rental: Tiong feels ‘conned’ by MCA
Andrew Ong
Aug 18, 09
6:51pm
The revelation by a MCA divisional leader that the party owns RM2 billion worth of assets has Bintulu MP and tycoon Tiong King Sing all riled up.This is because the party approached him for help in order to secure the use of eight four-storey shoplots for MCA-owned Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) College campus in Penampang, Sabah.Based on the tenancy agreement, TAR College only needs to pay Tiong’s company Wawasan Sdn Bhd a nominal fee of RM1 monthly for all units.

Speaking to Malaysiakini at his office in Petaling Jaya today, Tiong said he had allowed the deal to go through in order to help MCA in its pursuit to provide affordable education.

Now, Tiong is feeling deceived after reading China Press’ report quoting Setiawangsa division MCA head Ho Yoon Ping’s boast that the party had RM2 billion in assets.

Given the party’s financial standings, Ho said it made no sense for the party or its president Ong Tee Keat to seek RM10 million in donations from Tiong.

“In a way, I have found out that I have been cheated,” said Tiong, “They are so rich (with) RM2 billion in assets and they tell me they are poor.”

“When they came to see me, they said that MCA had no money and couldn’t pay me (rent) or it would be charged on the students. I said ‘okay’, especially since the economy was not good at the time.

“I wanted to help reduce cost for the student and at the same time help to promote education.

“Do you think that by giving, I’m begging Utar (Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman) for a doctorate?” asked Tiong.

Tiong vs Ong

Adding insult to injury was the fact that Tiong’s company spent RM200,000 to refurbish the buildings before they were handed over.

The tenancy agreement, sighted by Malaysiakini, showed that the deal was inked in 2007 and is set to expire in six months.

“No need to worry, it is still a long way to go,” said Tiong, when asked if he would still extend the tenancy agreement based on status quo.

He said he will take time to consider if the building should be rented to other causes.

Meanwhile, Tiong said he was not trying to find fault with MCA members who are trying to protect their party president Ong Tee Kiat (left).

However, Tiong said that if he is hit with accusations, he had the right to reply as in Ho’s case.

“I urge all the members. Please stop it. Let me (slug it out) with your president,” he said. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXkf143d7-E

Hmmm..Bad to Worse..BN Headache!!

“Grrrrr…MCA/SPDP..Aaaah”

Joey saw this at Malaysiakini internet portal and thought this was highly controversial with leaders of BN Ong and Tiong at each others throats. audie61 reposts this Malaysiakini article for the benefit of all other viewers .

Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing, who is in the eye of the storm over the RM10 million donation controversy, has confirmed that his political party will expand its ‘boundaries’ to go national.

The Sarawak People’s Democratic Party (SPDP) will not only make inroads into the peninsula, but will become a full-fledged multiracial party, he said.

Tiong was quoted as saying this in Chinese media reports today in response to allegations made by MCA president Ong Tee Keat at a special briefing for party delegates last Sunday.

Ong (left) had claimed that forces within and outside MCA are conspiring to overthrow him through various means, including setting up funds valued up to RM100 million to remove him through a special EGM.

Although he did not name those involved, the general understanding that he was targeting MCA deputy president Dr Chua Soi Lek, with whom he has a long-standing hostile relationship.

If this failed, said Ong, a Sarawak-based multiracial party would move into Peninsular Malaysia “to destroy MCA”. Alternatively, a newly-formed multiracial party would serve as a vehicle for dissidents to join Barisan Nasional (BN), thereby replacing MCA.

Tiong confirmed that SPDP, in which he is treasurer, has plans to set up branches in the peninsula. Describing this as a national issue, he slammed Ong for trying to obstruct his party’s expansion because of “a personal vendetta”.

He pointed out that MCA is a race-based party, while SPDP has a multiracial membership profile. As such, Ong “has no business meddling with the expansion plan”.

“We are all BN component parties, so what’s wrong with making inroads into Peninsular Malaysia? Some with a narrow political mindset think that parties from the peninsula can go into Sabah and Sarawak, but not vice versa,” Tiong reportedly said.

“Many new parties have been established in the peninsula. Why didn’t he make noise then?”

Asked why a Sarawak party would want to move into the peninsula, Tiong explained that the last general election had proved to be a watershed in politics.

“Many voters and members of political parties are disillusioned with the way BN and its component parties are run, but they don’t want to cross over to the opposition .

“So expanding SPDP would give them a choice (to join a new party) as we’re still under the BN banner. Does this mean it will destroy MCA and destablise BN?”

‘Secret witness on PKFZ’

Last week, Tiong had revealed that he had given Ong RM10 million last year as funds for MCA divisions.

This caused a political storm that has all but swept away Ong’s carefully nurtured image as a clean and courageous politician.

While Ong has categorically denied receipt of any money from Tiong, the situation has evolved to implicate other key party leaders.

Wanita head Chew Mei Fun  has admitted that Tiong had donate RM35,000 for the wing’s welfare activities. Youth chief Wee Ka Siong angered by rumours that he had received RM1 million from Tiong, has denied the allegation.

Tiong reiterated that the RM10 million donation is a personal matter between him and Ong and urged other party leaders not to get involved.

He claimed, though, that Ong has tried to turn this into a party matter by playing on the siege mentality of members while portraying himself as a victim. Ong had claimed that he is expecting the worst – such a demotion or enforced resignation from his cabinet post as transport minister.

Taunted Tiong: “Has anyone issued a call to overthrow Ong? Has the cabinet asked him to resign? Is (crying wolf) part of a so-called daring president’s character?”

He challenged Ong to a man-to-man dialogue to explain where the money has gone, and also dared him and his wife to make public their bank statements.

“I have a secret witness who can reveal Ong’s real intention in directing investigations into the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) issue. As soon as the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) report was completed, the witness alerted me about the one-sided findings,” said Tiong.

“He told a powerful figure that all the contracts had been awarded legally, but the person blew his top and insisted that ‘Tiong must be nailed’ at all costs. This person also said that, even if the Port Klang Authority (PKA) is sued for terminating the contracts, the burden would fall on PKA and not on himself.”

Tiong also hit out at the PwC and special task force reports, saying his contracting company Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd had never been called to assist in the probe or allowed to defend itself against the allegations of irregularities.

“Is this the so- called fair, just and transparent report? Somebody is trying to find a scapegoat by fabricating accusations. And if he succeeds, he will be able to maintain his Justice Bao image and become a national hero!”

(Justice Bao lived during the Song dynasty and has been acknowledged as a fair judge. He did not cave in to pressure, but delivered his rulings strictly on the merits of the case.)

Tiong refuted Ong’s claim that PKFZ scandal had led to massive loss of support for MCA and BN in the last general election.

“The same issues were also played up in Sarawak and in my constituency. Why haven’t Sarawak BN and Bintulu fallen into the hands of the opposition?”

“Isn’t it obvious now as to who is trying to ruin BN? Is it me who has hidden agenda or someone else?”

Tiong is a major player in Wijaya Baru Global Holdings Bhd, the parent company of Kuala Dimensi, the turnkey-contractor of the multi-billion ringgit PKFZ project.

Kuala Dimensi has repeatedly railed against the Transport Ministry and the PKA’s public accusations that the company was involved in excessive profiteering in the PKFZ project.

WOW!! Hmmm Full Scale No Holds Barred ..

Oooh Ai..”Sarawak Headache..??

GetAttachment

Natasha says the boss has gone on HIATUS and will only be back on September 11th and it is timely that we posts this article from our fellow blogger as this article has some interesting facts to ponder on especially Sarawak Political Affairs.

By Abdul Hakim Bujang (sarawak update)

It has been five boring years since I was being paid three months salary to go on leave forever by the Sarawak Tribune. Based on the sacking letter the management was saying this was according to the agreed term that we can part company by paying each other three months wages.

However, when I met Datuk Seri Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar slightly earlier than that I was told that I have to be sacked because of my tendency to meddle in Sarawak succession issues. Hmmmm hmmm hmmm.

My largest sin according to Asfia was for openly supporting Datuk Amar Abang Johari liutenant, Ibrahim Baki in the race to become Petra Jaya MP. Asfia said he fully understood my support for Johari because of my Kuching roots, ha ha ha.

Mak kau tu’au Belawai lah pok! Apak kau tu’au Ajang! A former YB of my Kampung not knowing my family roots, he must be sick. My uncle is now a certain MP pol sec, true blue grassroot Gurkha, pity Asfia – typical of a parachutist that think too highly of their paper credentials.

In fact, Ibrahim lost that race partly because of his refusal to listen to my advice on the danger of certain “3/4″ advisor. Ibrahim knew whom, and we had a good laugh about it, years ago…

That “3/4″ advisor eventually climb Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) hierarchy at lightning speed right after that, of course much more higher than Asfia himself, surely at the chagrin of pure Malays who are much more senior than him.

We cannot blame the advisor because he and Abang Johari sharing a common trait, liked and accepted by people from all walks of life, regardless of race or religion.

logo_pbb

Unlike some arrogant, fake pretenders of PBB who have forgotten that their election victory are purely courtesy of Barisan Nasional (BN) ticket and help from the Chief Minister during campaigning period.

Come the next election, let wait and see, the people eyes are wide open now and they knew BN are not indispensable. Illiterate parents are blessed with educated children and oppositions are slowly adopting BN strategy, translating support into vote.

Those in BN who are still dreaming must remember that Datuk Alfred Yap once said that he can win without Malays votes, and he successfully dig his own political grave.

With the curent H1N1 outbreak and bad weather, Yap can always put on a haze mask and try asking what the Malays have to say about him?

Look at SK Haji Baki, the Malays majority school that is still sporting 1965 pre independence like building. Datuk Yong Khoon Seng vehicle too are rarely being sighted at Kampung Semaba now after winning by a whisker against DAP.

Politic of earned respect and acceptance

I have seen Chief Minister blue eyed boys came and go. Names like Datuk Dr Seri Effendi Norwawi, Datuk Wahab Dollah, Haji Bolhassan Di and many more would surely came to mind, but where are they now?

Oh my god, I forgot about Datuk Seri Adenan Satem, is he still alive and alright? He was once rumoured to be Taib successor.

I was on so many occasion being tasked to spin great stories about Adenan but more than often would never get the desired level of co-operation.

Partly because we never have that chemistry. My friends who can cope cocky species, having patience to wait for hours, and wasting time writing caption moronic report, does not have problem dealing with Adenan, not me.

Nobody in right frame of mind would believe that Adenan is an ordinary Joe equivalent to Dr Wahbi Junaidi now despite whacking PKR Sarawak treasurer general Haji Sobey Daud to pieces. (Haji Sobey goes into hiding for several months after that defeat unable to accept losing deposit and feeling ashame of certain quarters ridicule, politic!)

Adenan, Wahab and Bolhassan obviously sharing same quality, they are very intelligent people. However in politic being intelligent alone is not enough, you have to be smart.

Sadly, in my personal opinion all three are simply not smart enough. Bolhassan attitude changed him from the most popular supreme council member to an overnight party poll loser. There no need for me to elaborate about Adenan and Wahab, people knew.

Wahab used to be my employer  “owner”, Bolhassan my boss “Best Friend” while Adenan “most important VIP” but all three have disappeared into thin air.

There are simply too many other names, and majority are choosing to blame conspiracy for their failure to get the spot in the press.

Probably, they must hire me to bring a tape recorder in my pocket and start listening to what the rakyat have to say about them, what the average reporters have to think about them and what their grassroots leaders have to tell the press. I can do that at RM5,000 per month.

In politic, respect is earned until you become the most powerful guy. I criticise Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman like hell over the Muslim graveyard issues in Mile 3. He still smiles to me and shake my hand instead of cursing or hurling abuses to me.

I write very nasty remarks about Abang Johari at the height of the previous state election, he still shake my hand and smile to me. Same thing Dr Abdul Rauf, Wan Junaidi and few others. We still have certain level of respect for each other although we are not friends like what we used to be.

Parachutist syndrome in PBB

I have never read any report on Wanita PBB activities in the media. May be partly because I no longer subscribe to PBB linked Eastern Times and Utusan Sarawak.

When I was working for NST (stringer), Bernama and Sarawak Tribune, getting comments from Hajah Fatimah the  deputy PBB Wanita chief was the easiest thing to do. When I was tasked to publish a Wanita magazine, trying to meet her is much more difficult than that of meeting a super senior Minister 20 years her senior. How people changed!

Ironically, majority of the PBB Wanita are now working on their own. Fatimah going to the left with her Ministry roles, Hasidah going to the right over her constituency function, while Nancy Shukri busy with her so-called Parliamentarian capacity. By the way, who is the Wanita chief? Is PBB wanita headless or what?

To me this is only supposed to happen to an organisation led by the so called barely-educated-project driven grassroot politician.

That was not to be. Sadly, more and more parachutist are landing in PBB and creating what my friend described as “Pemimpin yang perlu dipimpin”. It is not only in PBB though, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) much worst than that, I will write about their anti instutition leadership at some other time.

I have heard about so-called PBB youth leaders rarely attending meeting, overheard about youth leaders openly requesting for project during meeting, and many more.

Its sad to hear this kind of accusation about PBB flying around, I hope they are plain rumours. If they are indeed true, PBB must start doing something and goes back to the basic.

Do not wait much longer, do the spring cleaning and get rid of some of the deadwood that spell very negative connotation!

PRS TDC

This year is also supposed to be an election year for two Dayak majority or so-called Dayak-based political party, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) and Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP).

I have almost lost track of Dayak politic. In the early 2000, Dayak politic was literally my game. I followed the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) crisis from day one. It was triggered by the sacking of Datuk Tiong King Sing.

This year, Tiong is also carving a name for himself in SPDP and most likely would vie for deputy presidency. Tiong trusted friend called me the other day optimistic that SPDP deputy president, Datuk Peter Nyarok would be giving way. I hope Tiong will not reveal his generosity to Nyarok in public the way he did about Malaysia Chinese Association (MCA) president that earned him MACC attention, here.

Mawan, the most intelligent Dayak leader and very smart too, had given the greenlight for a contest in SPDP, for all position out of democracy spirit. I know deep in his heart, Mawan is praying that Tiong would not changed mind or strike a deal with Nyarok to oust him, ha ha ha.

Over in PRS, talks about Datuk Seri Dr James Masing will be challenged by Datuk Joseph Entulu had silent down. Though the two extreme outside PRS are obviously showing comfort that Entulu is making his displeasure toward Masing publicly on differing background.

Some are hoping that Masing would be ousted so that those kicked out from the party during the recent spat can be brought back and maintained their respective status quo in the Sarawak state Cabinet. Majority of those kick out, however have openly joined PKR or DAP bandwagon, except Larry Sng, my ex FB friend.

The other extreme are hoping that Masing would be challenged so that Entulu would be able to put brake on Joseph Salang political carrier. It was widely speculated that Masing proposed Salang name ahead of Entulu to become Federal cabinet minister.

Salang presence in PRS is a threat to some, partly because of his “independent” financial status or political world view. In fact, Salang and Masing were the original “successors” groomed by Tan Sri Leo Moggie. That what Salang often told me, but politic would always be tricky and full of uncertainty.

Anwar and his Dayak paratroopers

anwar and his troops

The dull Sarawak political landscape was once again alive with the arrival of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Ibans from Kuala Lumpur.

Anwar was never tired of saying that Pakatan Rakyat would be taking over Sarawak government in the next State election. I would love to see that happening. Anwar, however, is far from having the right team to realise his dream.

He got very good Chinese leaders to help him in Sarawak, but they are not from his own party. PKR chinese leaders could throw a party if they do not lose their deposit in the next election, honestly. Dominique Ng included. I hoped DAP and PKR would square off in Padungan to teach Dominique a lesson that his victory was not about him or PKR, but the public dissatisfaction to the government of the day.

Anwar success in Dayak area would be depending very much on the support that he got from his Kuala Lumpur-based Ibans. These young Ibans from Kuala Lumpur would be playing very important role. Not his existing Iban leaders that have long overstay their welcome in politics.

The so-called Kuala Lumpur Ibans, however are of mixed background as well that Anwar have to do his homework very carefully before trusting or simply fielding the so called champion that stand out.

Some of these highly decorated are actually nothing more than pretenders themselves.

There is one who blogs highly about his business acument and parenting skills, but is nothing more than a PBB rejects who failed both his business and family life.

A seasoned writer, who was formerly based in UK once told me that Sarawak is actually a State with the highest percentage of PhD holder per capita, and Pakatan Rakyat is probably blessed with half of them, majority specialising in alternative medicine.

The once footballing Bintangor clinic dresser turned Doctor included but he would be joining BN soon, not vice versa.

Anwar must not waste his time and effort in Malays area because his anti instistution Band of Samseng Kampung will not bring PKR anywhere.
They can deny it but for how long? I fully agree that politician have to utilise all kind of supporters but naming one such personality as a top leader like what Anwar did before was far from right.

Looking at what is happening in Penang, I am sure the Rakyat knew that there is nothing wrong with having a Malacca guy as Chief Minister, at least among the Kampung Buah Pala folks.

ANY TREMORS IN SARAWAK..??

Ti–Ong Accountability Please..???

Natasha of audie61 in a follow up of  yesterdays post from Lim Kit Siangs Blog has another article which we feel that there is a NEED for Public Funds Accountability with regards to the PKFZ Fiasco. Answers..! Answers.! Answers..! money_down_toilet.jpg3  ………………………………………………………………  Is Muhyiddin not interested in the truth as to whether the Transport Minister or the BNBBC Chairman is lying or whether both are lying?

The Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin seems to be totally unconcerned and uninterested as to the truth in the Ong Tee Keat-Tiong King Sing expose, whether the Transport Minister or the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers’ Club (BNBBC) is lying or whether both are lying?

Muhyiddin is more concerned about the “image of the government and the Barisan Nasional” and want both Ong and Tiong to stop “washing dirty linen in public” rather than promote the cause of the commitment of the Najib premiership to integrity and good governance.

Does Muhyiddin want the Ong-Tiong “dirty linen” to be buried again and for both Ong and Tiong just to shut up, pretend nothing had happened in the past few days of shocking exposes, so that everything can get back to “normal” as before?

Muhyiddin should know that this is no more possible, that either Ong goes as Transport Minister or Tiong goes as BNBBC Chairman and MP for Bintulu or even for both to relinquish their public political positions.

MCA members as well as the general Malaysian public want to know the whole truth of the so-called Ong-Tiong spat, especially as Ong said only yesterday that Tiong is one of the “10 hidden threats” which had surfaced blocking his attempt to fully uncover the whole truth about the RM12.5 billion PKFZ scandal.

What are the other nine “hidden threats”? Anyone or more of them coming from Umno quarters?

BN/Pakatan”Intimidation-$$$ Ka-Ching..Hiatus..”

hiatus2

hALLOOOO Everybody!
What is the basic need to move a political party? It’s $$$ Ka-ching. Alright, the intimidation on political opponents is nothing new and it dates back to the earliest civilizations. So the MACC being used by BN to troubleshoot the Pakatan led government in Selangor? What is that..?.Are you so afraid..?

Pakatan says that they have all the brains and political boys who can anticipate and check the movements of BN. One thing Selangor BN is opposition and they are creating such a “LIVE WIRE” wherby they have even managed to use a COW ISSUE to rattle the MB. What about the Beer issue now.?

Is this intimidation from Najib,Muhyddin and Mahathir the “UMNO golden triangle” coming down hard on Selangor? They know very well its hard to take back Selangor as the people have voted out the BN led government of Khir Toyo. Najib is the UMNO head of Selangor and being a leader and PM he needs to ensure that his troops in Selangor are maintain and kept busy and on the march.

In Sun Tzu’s principle it is simple,”16 months have passed since 308 and now the UMNO boys are ready to strike hard into the heart of Pakatan ruled Selangor.

They are confronting Khalid and giving him a battle and they know they need to divert his attention from admininstering the state within the comforts of an aircool room and a signatured pen that will open up millions of economic opportunities and wealth.

It’s not too far away from GE13th and Najib needs to regain losts ground quickly. Selangor is his to take back as Anwar battles to keep the UMNO machinery from wrecking his plans.

Anwar had some positives from all this  ‘SNIPERS ” in this engagement ” when PAS Vice President Mahfuz Omar was very generous in his assessement of “the golden triangle” joining forces to batter Anwar and use Selangor as the bait.

This statement,”“Umno is afraid of enlightened Malays who are now experiencing a ‘crisis of faith’ over the government.” Tell me what it means and even to a political novice its simple,”Anwar has used the spies within UMNO to bite back at the institution of UMNO and really  JOLT  it to the extend that their walls are on their backs.”

We know that in history that in any wars or battles the use of spies are a very important. Previously it was very primitive but eventhough now its becoming complicated with high tech mechanisms the art of spying remains.

It really has to do with $$$ Ka-Ching and the intimidation will only get worse. Najib and Anwar both needs to be suspicious of their own man. There are those within their circles who are not afraid to SCHEME for their better good.

So much so that those who have read,”I heard a rumour “articles which we posted are getting so hot and bothered at their necks that they are seen on their phones wanting to know the truths. They must be some truths or one would not even WASTE HIS TIME writing to develop a following or reputation. Do we need to LIE to get to the truth.? Just as we ask in our article if you remember rightly,Do reporters lie..? Even the YB in question had to send us an sms to stop it from developing into an EARTHQUAKE.

Updated:-It is reliably learnt from a political watcher that SPDP’s Deputy Nyarok will stand firm and be ready for any challengers that might come his way at the parties TDC. Just bring them on is his message………

Yours sincerely, will be taking a HIATUS and will be back in a months time. Timely one might say as the date would be September 11th. What happened then and do we need to tell you more. Meanwhile audie61 would have Natasha,Joey keeping the fort in place in Sarawak while Bugi and Cindy would be blowing from the Land below the Wind.

We say as always,”Keep this in mind BN/Pakatan boys and girls,” Once you have someone as your ruler one should guard the relationship to the death. One should not bow the head and compromise to Loyalty. Serving not the TRUE ruler is like losing your  Moral Character. Termed as ,’NOT WORTH A CENT”

Ooh,Ooh SPDP/PRS “I Heard a Rumour”

In 1987 this song by Bananarama British girl’s pop group of the 80’s “I Heard a rumour” was on everyone’s lips as one will say to each other,Ah ha I heard A……” Today in Astro Mixed FM every morning 8 am-8.30am there is M$100 to be won if you have “I heard A rumour” spin in which the deejays will determine whether your rumour can be substantiated and enough to convince the Malaysian public.

What was considered a rumour wherby SPDP No.2 man to be challenged seemingly is taking shape as it is already and successfully coverd by the main stream media today. Yesterday after being informed by our sources that it is already 99% certain that “Tiong will take on Nyarok for the No.2 ” we went a step further by clarifying with a very close  aide of Nyarok.

It was late afternoon around 4.30pm  29th July 2009 when we managed to track down the aide and spoke to him. This is an excerpt from our conversation,” Its a rumour where some people are trying to instigate Tiong to go against Nyarok vice versa. These two YBs are the bests of friends eventhough they might have some arguments here and there. It’s only natural” . Of course there is more to that now that some Hidden Hands are in play to push and oust Tiong out of the picture.

We were informed that instructions has been delivered and with” to be followed ” to certain YBs to derail and neutralise Tiongs ever growing influence and to stop him at all costs. It was already agreed that the TDC scheduled for the 20th and 21st of November 2009 in Kuching and to be declared open by PM Najib that the Top Posts will see Mawan maintaining his grip. He will not be challenged.

What choices does that leave Nyarok ? Does he just relinquish his posts for Tiong and himself be left high and dry? In other words his political office is just as good as over if he does not carry out the instructions. Our sources has also informed us that while No.1 posts is compromised/arranged  No.1 must not take sides in the battle for No.2.(that’s the DEAL in place)

No.2 battle is now open for grabs as Nyarok knows he is looking at the WALL OF HIS FUTURE IN SARAWAK POLITICS. Who then is behind all this scheming and dealing with Nyarok for him even to contemplate going against the hands that used to feed him.Is Nyarok looking further than being “handsomely rewarded” or is there “ONLY ONE ROAD OUT”

Moreover Nyarok stance on the merger issue between SPDP/PRS has somewhat soften and Tiong was really angry that his ‘mouthpiece’ Nyarok is leaning and somewhat agreeable towards the merger. Tiong puts it very bluntly to the SC to likening to the phrase .”Don’t think that once you have crossed the bridge you can burn it.”

Nyarok’ s man has also unknowingly uttered words that has got to Tiongs ears that Tiong holds too many positions in Youth Chief,Treasurer and Vice President. If you were Tiongs man what would you do? The ripples have provided more than an opportunity to the Hidden Hands to move in and ensure that Tiong is thoroughly checked .

What is interesting is that there are certain individuals speculated to be against the idea of the merger and with Nyarok being challenged it seems the rumour of Entulu taking on No1 in PRS has again resurfaced. We receive smses ,”Its confirmed from Bintulu that now YB Liwan and Mp Billy has switched camps and are banging on MP Entulu to take on YB James Masing. Now the question remains,” Is the Walikota Kapit Philimon Nuing or Pol.Sec Wilson Uggak with James or Entulu.?” If both goes James has losts his grip on the Rejang Basin and he will fear the worst says a political science analyst.

We say as always,”The political battles within SPDP/PRS will continue . audie61 ground crew have said,”I heard a rumour…” Can you believe us now..???”

BN/Pakatan..”Want,Used and Needs”

GetAttachment

We are so Confused.Where is the line that is drawn in politics. There isn’t and one will go all out just to get the ‘ desired result ” More questions and yet there are no pre-determined answers for these group of young aspiring political upstarts. The most common question that is unplucked from the brain cells of these group in which Natasha and Joey of audie61 squeezed out were the simplest English terms of,”Want,Used and Needs”

They asked similar questions of What does BN want from you? Is Pakatan making used of you? Who needs you more BN/Pakatan? In the whole context these questions looks harmless but in the defining world of politics they will probably mean where does these young mind go from here on.

TDFQJCAGG09HDCAWWT02ICA473DM6CAJJAU6LCAT1BNTOCAW7XJ3CCAF8Q5POCAAD45QNCAQNK09WCAIZWIH4CA2GJH0PCA9ZOZ26CAEV12Q4CAX71BICCAZJ4Q1ACAQ9N6BVCA7TR6CHCAMKKD50CA5NXD0E

Try asking yourself these questions infront of the mirror. It has to be immediatedly after saying good morning to yourself before you even brush your teeth. When you have done that and read these its time you leave your comments. Don’t just think that you are EXEMPTED from this tasks. Don’t fool yourself as you will be a greater fool nevertheless. You will do yourself justice by fulfilling this simple yet as effective as A,B,C.

To protect the anonimity of our political boys we will not use names. In this interview with Natasha she stumbled upon a young teenage political machai or running”dog”.He was so disillusioned with the world of politics that he just decided to give up on the platform that he vouched that could bring him his future. A BN component party was his desired ship where many promises were dished out like gift vouchers. He swore by the institution that he followed and even raised his fists with outcries of ‘A Malaysia for all”

BNlogotwirl

The promises many a time were whispered into his ears to push him to go the extra mile by very senior and veterans of the party who has seen past glory days. How unfortunate for these young brash and cocky upstarts to filter through their hands and to be so disillusioned so young and so fast. Is this what he wanted? Didn’t he feel used and are his needs being looked after?

Meanwhile Joey was so captivated by the  lady who feels that Pakatan used her to achieve their aims. She was in the frontline doing all the necessary works, designs and finalising speeches for functions and yet she did not complain. Did she not? Did she do it just to fulfill what she has set out to do? To ensure that the government under Pakatan was so much better than the former BN administration was her priority.

Pakatan tree

Alas, power achieved the directions somewhat were not like the dreams that she has woken up to in the middle of the night.Used or has she not come to terms that governing is so much different from shouting slogans on election ceramahs. She is perplexed and confused and has not woken up to the believe that Pakatan is ruling in her state. Its not so much USED but too much, too little time to swallow.

There are many political boys who are really at crossroads and are wondering with anticipation that they are really needed now more than ever. These second echelon leaders are waiting for the invitation cards for them to make their moves either into a higher more respectable position within the BN/Pakatan hierarchy. They have put in many years of solid and hard training years plus all the efforts to get themselves recognisable in their parties. The time has come for them to be united under one umbrella.

conspiracy

They might belong to different parties with different ideologies crossed warpaths but now they see themselves in just one big family. Do they make that switch? Are they willing to make this united stand,” There are NO ENEMIES IN POLITICS BUT IT”S A WAY OF LIFE.DOG EAT DOG” They see a NEED for them to belong but who needs them more and this time for real its not a journey to regret.

The two party system is upon us and these young upstarts have their choices and they need not be used but wanted and who they join is a matter of who will give them that PLATFORM TO SHINE. Afterall the young loves to be showered with praises but it has got to be sincere.

Still confused? Are you one of the many young political upstarts who has seemingly trudged into the shadowy world of politics. Its your choice and this is not a mere journey for the faint hearted and its a tough and gruelling way ahead. You will find your feet at times submerged in virtually impossible circumstances which needs the political acumen to get you out of the sticky situation.

There are many seasoned politicians who has ventured into these path but are so afraid that these young goons will outshine them and they will not give their ‘untold secrets”Are they selfish?  Harvard they say to these young upstarts does not give you the ground training in politics and these you have to earn your stripes. What chances do they have unless they are used to their potential. Its the simple words of want, used and need again dont you think so.

Is the line drawn clearer? What chances do you give the young to choose. is it a 50/50 now for them? What are the political parties available for them? Is it UMNO,PKR,PBB,DAP,PAS,PRS.PBS.SPDP,SUPP,MIC.Gerakan.LDP,PBS,UPKO.SAPP,PBRS,SNAP,PPP..? BN or Pakatan will be no diferent if the “kitchens and bathrooms” of these political parties are not CLEANED UP to accomodate these young and unknowing individuals who are about to embark on a life full of intriques and man made mysteries.

thumbnailCA7HXF0I frog

Just ask the wanted ones especially Tengku Razaleigh( WANT )  ( who says that his heart is still with UMNO) Zaid Ibrahim ( NEEDS ) (feels that his platform in UMNO is curbed),Chua Jui Meng ( NEEDS )  ( who leaves MCA after nearly 33 years and joins PKR for another stint to stay relevant)  What about the many thousands of political boys/girls and machais who are USED..? Still confused… Better not be as in politics there are NO POLITICAL PRISONERS and once you become irrelevant you either stay out of it or Get ready to be Guillotined.

Any young soul would want to  know why they are joining politics but usually the ones who brings them in don’t even tell them what the political parties constitution stands for? They sign the application form willingly or unwillingly and that is open to interpretations. Hmmm..This is the line which BN/Pakatan have to address as this proverb “TRUE GOLD FEARS NOT THE TEST OF FIRE” in which the bests will be able to survive while the rests will be thrown into scrapheap and left to rot.

The boat (parties or coalition BN/Pakatan) in which the political members who make the boat must be willing partners in the same boat rowing against the current and tide and every able person must pull the oars to move the boat forward. If there is a snowball effect it will only be too destructive to save and as usual we must have a check and balance system.

We are already within reach of 2020 a developed nation for our country and as such we know that with success often breeds failure because it makes you arrogant, complacent and, therefore you will ultimatedly lower your guard. Our young malaysian political upstarts needs to nurtured to be wanted and needed and not discrded after being used. This is the failure for our poltical system and it goes without saying to some,” ONLY THE BESTS WILL SURVIVE”

My friends please  look into the mirror every morning and tell that to me or to your close ones that you deserve better or is better than what makes you that special to lead the country or give your “WANTED AND NEEDED” service to help the rakyat of the country.

voters

The voters will know now and there are no more hiding places for those who thrive on POLITICAL ILLUSIONS to stay afloat in the coming political avalanche.

It goes without saying,”It is only reserved for the bests and those who aspire and willing to work hard. ” BN/Pakatan don’t fool yourselves anymore as with a flick of the pen/pencil you will be Ooooooooout..……and  Removed from your Constituency.

thumbnailCAZ2Q7D2So are you one of those who is WANTED,NEEDED or justs being USED……..
