SPDP “Limits Stretched..!!”

SPDP privilege source informed us this morning,”The SPDP President has already spoken in Sibu and he does mean it this time. There is a limit to what anyone can do and with all the unhealthy politiking taking place Mawan has been left with no alternative left but to take the necessary actions.

His limit has been stretched like a “rubber band” and eventually it will also give way. It remains the prerogrative of the President to issue a directive to the SPDP Chairman and his disciplinary board to issue a “SHOWCAUSE LETTER” to those who has defied and are a liability to the SPDP.

Mawan has given them enough time and chances not to hold the party to its knees and this next course of actions will ensure that the party will remain intact. SPDP has 4 Parliamentary seats to defend and the party needs to get this problem out of the way inorder to remain relevant in the eyes of the Barisan National Leadership and its coalition.

The Separatists 5 will use all legal ways to bring the party to court but it will be to no avail. They will need to answer to the showcause letters when they are issued and if they remains defiant and bring the party to court they will be told in so many words that the clause 18C.-“Decision of political party to be final and conclusive” will be starring at them and its not a winnable scenario.

They should pick up a copy if they do not already have one under Laws of Malaysia,”Societies Act 1966(Act 335) & Regulations- Latest copy (As at 20th august 2005). The SPDP constitution should not be read in totality and its only a guidance when the legal arguments are being put infront of the presiding judge.

Just for the information of the Separatists 5 this might happen when they try to bring the party to court:-

The judge might just rule that under the relevant provision of the societies act ‘no court shall have jurisdiction to entertain or determine any suit, appliocation, question or proceeding on any ground regarding the validity of a decision of a political party or any matter relating to the affairs of the party.”

The President has given enough time for the Separatists 5 and their members to stop the backstabbing and bringing down the partys name over the last 1 year. There is a limit to what a man can handle and now is the time for Mawan to take action. Many political journalists has even said that Mawan lacks the courage to do it and is seen as “weak” If he follows through with this action on the 5 some will even say,”a little too late” and the damage is already irrepairable.

Mawan is still on high ground and he needs to flood them out and crush them before the real damage is done by them at the next SPDP TGM next year. Our source even says,” Don’t tell me 5 YBs dont have divisions supporting them. He needs to disect and cut them into pieces now as the new “taiko”amongst the group is ever ready for the challenge. Mawans back is already pushed  to the wall and this action remains the right political decision for him and the party.

William Mawan, the President knows its TIME………

Mawan..Even the Pope Gets On Line..

The troubles in SPDP will not just go away like that. According to our privilege source he was informed that the ‘Bridge has been burnt and there is no turning back

audie61 made a phone call to a SC SPDP member and he reaffirmed in so many words,” We are planning something and there is U-Turn“. It has indeed worsened and with Mawan keeping a tight lip on the seemingly small matter to him the group has pushed ahead. Even the privilege source has this to say “Mati my friend Mawan”{ My Friend Mawan Die}

The group comprises,”Elected representatives  Sylvester Enteri (state assemblyman for Marudi), Peter Nansian (state assemblyman for Tasik Biru), Rosey Yunus (state assemblywoman for Bekenu), Paulus Gumbang (state assemblyman for Batu Danau) and  Dr. Tiki Lafe (MP for Mas Gading). The three supreme council members are Peter Gani, George Garai and Eda Egar.

Its well known that Mawan does not go through the blogs for all the gossips, rumours and speculations and he leaves it to his able lieutenants in Paul Igai and Tiong King Sing to inform him of the next step to take or to lie low. For outside help he uses a former newspaper group editor to chart his political career.

PM Najib and all the top BN leaders do go through the blogs and it is very unwise for Mawan just to listen to and read the main stream media news. He will certainly be left behind in no time and if he cares to get a copy of Todays Catholic  Vol 22 No 11 February 2010( a monthly publication of the Archdiocese of Kuching Sarawak) and turn to page 8 he will know what we mean.

The head of the Catholic Church in Vatican City cannot be wrong to come up with a statement of this magnitude and if Mawan is steadfastly stubborn he is and will be writing his personal history as time spent as a Legislator in Sarawak State Government. We say,”Good Luck to him and this article is not intended to harm him unlike many who has knives ready to push into his back and heart.

Anyway Mawan you will need to get a copy of this news publication as the Pope said in celebration of World communications day 2010.This is just a teaser,” The world of digital communication with its expressive capacity makes us appreciate all the more the technology.” The Pope went on to say that the Church’s role is not simply to fill up the space on the Web,its overiding aim is to express in the digital world.

Use whatever resources as this generation embraces ( images, videos, animated features, blogs, websites) to impart your knowlege and the digital media crosses all boundaries. He went on to say that the new means of communication plays a positive role in the wider society and the messages it sent will open up many possibilities.

Mawan the old days of politiking are over and even CM we know for a fact is very well verse of what is happening in the world and in his own backyard. He has the inner circles to assist him and this people are mostly his old schoolmates who do not want to see him fail. Have you Mawan got and surrounded by these people? If not its time to WISE UP and OPEN UP Before you are THROWN OUT.

Remember Mawan you have to thank the Pope and the Almighty Creator and not us at audie61 for imparting these message to you. We are sure Paul Igai your able lieutenant knows what to do….

“Fireworks or Advices Sought…??”

For real or not was the first question asked by audie61 to the SPDP DSG Paul Igai on what has been speculated by many on the defections of the 5 Assemblyman and 3 SC members on this hot blistering day in Kuching. It certainly turned out that way there was even an article by the internet portal”Malaysianmirror” which we will  reposts and share with all of you.

Certainly Paul said he was quoted but its not to that extend and there will be NO FIREWORKS from them as we are about to welcome the Year of the Tiger. Plainly he said,”they are just seeking advices and there are no preemptive move by them to just leave the party.

Its more an internal matter and we will be together UNITED AS ONE to ensure that the party maintains all its seat and deliver it in totality to the State Barisan National. In politics its always about COMPROMISE AND FINDING SOLUTIONS . Its no different in SPDP and for them to seek advises its their democratic right which has turned out for the better good of SPDP as a whole.

The Malaysian Mirror article:-KUCHING – The deputy secretary general of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), Paul Igai, said today that the party is aware of the move by the five elected representatives and three members of its supreme council to leave the party.
Decision to leave SPDP

“Yes, we are aware of their move, but we still want them to come back,” said Igai who is also a political secretary to the Chief Minister.

He said: “We must, instead, reconsolidate and re-energise the party. Focus must be on the strength of the party and the Barisan Nasional in view of the coming state election.

“Parking permits must never be an option. They are still needed in the party,” said Igai.

He said the party president, William Mawan, had met the Chief Minister and the chairman of the State Barisan Nasional, Abdul Taib Mahmud, to explain the party crisis.

Political observers, however, see the crisis has worsened because of the move by the five elected representatives and three of the supreme council members to quit the party.

The elected representatives are Sylvester Enteri (state assemblyman for Marudi), Peter Nansian (state assemblyman for Tasik Biru), Rosey Yunus (state assemblywoman for Bekenu), Paulus Gumbang (state assemblyman for Batu Danau) and  Dr. Tiki Lafe (MP for Mas Gading)..

The three supreme council members are Peter Gani, George Garai and Eda Egar.

According to highly-placed sources, the group met the Sarawak Chief Minister on Wednesday to inform him of their decision to leave SPDP. They are asking to be parked with Parti Rakyat Sarawak which is headed by James Masing.

Last Thursday, they met with the Prime Minister informing him of their decision to leave the party.

The sources said that they were told by the Prime Minister not to form another party as they might not be able to join Barisan Nasional later.

Maintaining status quo

But the Prime Minister was said to have told them to consult the Chief Minister as to which party they should be parked.

The crisis precipitated last month after Mawan dropped Enteri as secretary general and replaced him with state assemblyman for Ba’Kelalan Nelson Balang Rining,

Enteri accused Mawan of not honouring his promise of maintaining status quo after listing him as one of the “President’s men” before the party went for its election last year.

A PRS leader, who refused to be identified, has welcomed the move by the group to be parked with PRS as it would not only enlarge the party’s elected representatives, but would also open the way for the merger of Dayak-based parties.

Currently, PRS has nine state assemblymen and six MPs

An SPDP member after reading this article said,”Lets just usher in the YEAR OF THE TIGER with COLOURFUL FIREWORKS and he said tell him if there is a PRESS CONFERENCE TELLING THE MASS MEDIA THAT THEY ARE LEAVING and let me on behalf of SPDP wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year. Kong Xi Fa Cai………………..”

SPDP”A Lemon Twists”

A reliable source telephoned audie61 with these news,”Latest Bro. SPDP will see a fight for the Presidency.” Obviously the first question would be ,’Is it Nyarok against Mawan.? No,no,no its going to be the present SG Assistant Minister YB Slyvester Entri challenging Mawan. Also Nyarok will be maintained in the team with Entri as the No.2. This is breaking news as 6 SPDP Nothern divisions met in Miri (AIDA WAS THE PERSON WHO ORGANISED THE DINNER) and THEY HAVE given undivided support to the SG in his fight against the President.

( Latest updated:- Mawan has left to KL to attend the UMNO conference and also to inform Tiong of the latest development according to our source. Meanwhile an SC member told  audie61 on the phone there are a 1001 things which is happening in SPDP which we are not happy with. Seems the battles are beginning and might just  escalate.…)

Immediatedly audie61 swung into action to get feedbacks from the Political Secretaries and Supreme Council members and most of them would not be dragged into this fight and still remains divided in their opinions. A former Pol.Sec however told audie61 that ,”Wait till Friday and it will be more concrete.”

Could the PKFZ scandal be used as a leverage to turn the tables. It seems that  unknown hands are meddling in the affairs of SPDP. Whats more in the local dailies Mawan sounded very firm when he said,”SPDP will discipline any of its members who did or said things that could destabilise the party in the run up to its Triennial Delegates Assembly in December.

It is a known fact that Mawan is very close, infact inseparable from MP Tiong King Sing who is in the centre of the storm and this has greatly affected the reputation of SPDP as Tiong is the Youth Chief/Treasurer and also Chief Financier of SPDP. Mawan also did not mince his words when he said ,”he will come down hard on those challenging the status quo of top leaders come the TGA,and labeeled them as potential troublemakers tot he party.” So who is the trouble maker from within and from outside. There is a LEMON TWISTS EFFECT to all this happening in SPDP.

What is a Lemon twists? Lemon twists are most often used to garnish dry vodka martinis or accompanying espresso, but they can be used with many other drinks. They are used for both flavor and decoration. Some people attempt to cut a twist directly from the lemon. Nyarok was supposed to be challenged by Tiong and now it seems Nyarok has found a new ally in Entri.

The espresso effect has found new friends and whats more with DPM Muhyddin coming out with this statement ,’ He stressed that it is not only Umno which must transform, but also BN component parties.”We must be prepared to carry out an in-depth transformation to reach new heights in understanding.”

The writing is clearly on the wall for those who fail to see the changes and cracks which are appearing in the BN family. From March 8th 2008 BN has been under attack for being too complacent and at times too arrogant for the people to accept  and thus the Voters turned their backs on the BN administration.

SPDP needs to put their house in order as Sarawak State elections is around the corner and there are already indications that new faces are fast appearing to be the new BN candidates in order to ensure BN stays in power in Sarawak. Though the opposition parties are under wraps with too much infighting BN Sarawak will be under no illusion that all is vey well. Though the CM says 60 seats are assured the BN administration will be on their toes as when its TOO CALM an EXTRA-ORDINARY TSUNAMI might just happen.

The PKFZ scandal has in fact put SPDP in the limelight and with these turn of events LEMON TWISTSand HIDDEN HANDS being involved it seems we are in for some interesting political changes in Sarawak in the coming months.
