“PAS Sarawak 26 Seats…??”

Headlines yesterday,”All is not well in Pakatan Sarawak” audie61 asked a PKR Sarawak Executive member,” Is it a diversionary tactic..?” Where and who are the candidates? Where does this lead to as PKR and DAP will also be fighting head-on for some of the overlapping mixed seats?

If  this is not a diversionary tactic by PAS or the Pakatan Sarawak set up it will really put a ‘spanner in the works“. A Sarawak voter bluntly said to Natasha of audie61,” They need to see out this problem or else the momentum will never swing to the Pakatan. Why fight amongst themseves when the common enemy is BN..? ”  PAS needs to look at its strength in Sarawak  and dont throw the whole coalitions good work into the dumpsite.”

Today SNAP President Edwin Dundang even told PAS to be realistic and not to be arrogant in claiming seats for the next state elections. He said each party in Pakatan Rakyat(PR) must not be greedy for power in the fight against BN.Instead it must ensure that it has good candidates, enough resources, good ground support and not to be seen to be greedy. “I emphasis once again that PR must be very focussed in the allocation of seats to ensure one against one contests as far as possible.

In so far as SNAP is concerned the President said,”SNAP does not want any conflict with DAP,PKR and PAS over the seats distributution. Meanwhile in relation to the seats allocation in a PC the Sarawak State PKR youth announce the movements intention to contest in the 6 state seats of Satok,Semariang,Kedup,Bekenu,Katibas and Repok.

Clearly the signs are there that with the imminent dissolving of the state assembly the Pakatan and BN ground movements are evident. Those who can conjure enough support and resources are all putting their names to the respective parties for consideration. It seems that there will be also Independants who will try to join in the race as in any elections now a “SURE WIN IS NOT RELEVANT ANYMORE.”

Those who aspire to be candidates must be seen to be accepted by their respective parties as a Winnable candidate be it from BN or Pakatan. PAS and PKR Sarawak Youth have openly claimed stated their intentions and its up to the PAKATAN STATE ELECTION BUREAU to consider. BN will do likewise and of course they will also be “dissatisfaction amongst their ranks”

Will the elections be called soon….?? Only one person has the dates close to his chests and its up to him to have the INSPIRATION…………………

PAS..BN ENJOY WHILE IT LASTS..!!”

Joey received a call from a PAS sympathiser and the person said,” Tell the BN brothers to enjoy their stay at the TOP when they still have the time and not to try and paint PAS in the bad light. I am referring to what the Chinese Press exclusive interview with PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang.” Oooh alright said Joey and  we will check it up and a  number of phone call was made to relevant sources.

On the advice of our seniors in audie61 we posted this article from malaysiakini and let the reading public make their own judgements and to avoid controversies.

Top leaders of Pakatan Rakyat dismissed a news report which quoted PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang as saying that he is against the official registration of the coalition.

Instead, they suggested that Hadi may have been misquoted in an exclusive report front-paged by Chinese-language daily Sin Chew Daily.

pas seminar 071109 hadi awang“It is not the time for the three parties to register as a coalition, PAS does not want to make any rushed decision,” he was quoted as saying.

“Pakatan should put the registration on hold and focus on discussing cooperation among themselves first. It need not to be a party. More importantly, we must work at arriving at a common ground and work to settle our differences.”

Official news agency Bernama also carried a similar online news report quoting the PAS president.

Malaysiakini, after failing to get a response from Hadi today, spoke to his political secretary Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who shed light on the report.

Ahmad clarified that Hadi does not dispute Pakatan’s decision to register as a coalition.

barisan rakyat pas pkr dap“He agrees to the registration. There is no issue in terms of the three parties’ registration as a Pakatan Rakyat Party,” said Ahmad.

He added that Hadi maybe have been referring to how the three parties could move forward as a coalition although they each have a different political ideology.

“This did not mean he wants to suspend the registration. Pakatan Rakyat’s registration application has been submitted to Registrar of Societies (ROS) and is pending approval.”

‘No dispute’

DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said he believes Hadi would not have made such a statement.

lim kit siang 201108“Any such statement is completely against what we have worked for. The news report is not correct,” said Lim.

He also said there is no dispute because top leaders of the three parties had agreed to submit the registration application to the ROS last month.

PKR director of strategy Tian Chua said had contacted PAS leaders after reading the news report and issued a clarification.

tian chua 03 240505Chua (right) said Hadi had spoken in the context of the huge responsibility on Pakatan’s shoulder – that, registered or not, the work is cut out for the coalition, including ironing out the ideology of each party.

“Hadi did not mean that Pakatan should not register. We are awaiting approval from ROS., Our focus right now is how to strengthen Pakatan,” he added.

PAS “Cawat..Enough Don’t you think so..??”

Any Dream Will Do: The final 10

( Joseph BBC1-Any dream will do Astro Channel 713 Sundays) Scott Matthewman wrote-we’re on to the loincloths. None of the boys look bad without their clothes — one or two look very good indeed, although I think I’d better keep my opinions to myself on that score)

The following below were posted by audie 61 on July 28th and we thought that this very sensitive issue should be put to rests. We also wrote an article on July 27th https://audie61.wordpress.com/2009/07/27/cawat-issue-stay-clear-wanitas/ to try to bring some senses and maturity to the highly volatile and sensitive issue.

A very good friend of mine let’s just called him Azman telephoned me from Semanjung Malaysia this morning and told me about a blogsite which is very instigative in nature and trying to pour oil in the already burning fire. He was not amused as his PAS friends took offence.

The observations from the writer in the blog,’Borneo-Warrior” in his observation was,”1. Pas supporters also worn the cawat during the Manek by-election. Instead of wearing the cawat in the pelvic area (as the so-called natives in Sarawak do), they wore the cawat in their heads.( cawat in their heads please, my friend he said and can you please tell him )

We know two wrongs don’t make a right and we have said our part by virtue these updates to our article:-

Updated 28th July :- Sms sent to Secretary General of PRS– Wilfred Nissom.Thank God and Glad there is no burning of PAS Flags. We are better than that.( A flag is revered symbol and burning it is profoundly offensive gesture towards the country/party/institution-Wikipedia)

Updated 28th July 9.30am- Headlines “Gathering to burn PAS flags put off, says PRS man. The full story can be seen in Todays Borneo Post Article page 12. Was this our timely intervention with our article and thus someone politically connected with the Prime Minister’s department raised the ALARM BELLS. Thank God or else all Hell would have broken loose.

We also know according to the blog that Politics is about twisting, carrying on..and on.. but this issue is more than that as it will aggravate it into a RACIAL ISSUE. DO we need that..??

We say as always,”There are many ways to generate political mileage and also playing politics but further aggravation of race, culture.colour, religion and sensitive issues shold be dealt accordingly with  the right way and methods.

‘Cawat” Issue..Stay Clear Wanita’s??

Last Friday before I posted the article on ” Wanita PKR Sarawak- A New Dawn” I asked PRS Batu Lintang Wanita Chief and Treasurer are they ready if chosen at an instant to stand for the coming elections. Of course, they said we are in politics not only to serve and fight for the party but also groomed to take over. In my article I mentioned ,” PRS has yet to field any wanita candidate but it is speculated by PRS members that the current Wanita chief Doris Brodie is being groomed to be a candidate. How ironic it is today she seems to grab the headlines and suddenly appears? Something is brewing and are they any connections to the New Dawn?

This is what she said in the Sunday Borneo Posts,’

Expressing anger over Hadi’s remarks about Batang Ai voters recently, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) women chief Doris Sophia Brodie said yesterday the remarks reflected the type of leaders PAS and PR have.

“Obviously, PAS and Pakatan are not ethnic-sensitive, thus they can forget about making their existence felt in Sarawak especially in Dayak dominant areas. On top of that, it is such remarks that stir racial tension,” she said.

“I think what Hadi said should hit the nail squarely for Dayak opposition leaders. Clearly, Pakatan and PAS do not have them or the Dayak at heart, to them the Dayaks are just to make the numbers and their laughing stock.

In this respect, she said the PRS women of Batang Ai, Simanggang and Bukit Begunan divisions would come out in full force to support PRS Batang Ai youth in its plan to burn PAS flags in Engkilili town todayk.

We are at bests trying to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS ISSUE AS POSSIBLE. However,we know that a fire would not have started  if the sparks are not lighted.Sarawak Wanita Chiefs from PKR/DAP/PAS/SNAP should not only stay silent on this issue as the Wanita Chief from PRS  has already lashed out. Recently joined PKR former MCA leader Chua Jui Meng would be telling you all,” A Politician is not a Politician if she/he keeps quiet.”

We received a number of smses but this from a senior a dayak leader and a former high ranking civil officer which will be open to your interpretations ,”Mrng bro.what Hadi meant was, dyks hv cawat political mentality.f u say dyks r well clothed 2 refer 2 hadi’s statement, once again hadi n d rest will laugh at n deride even phd educated dyk pol leaders ENDA NEMU RETI JAKO SINDIR”

Burning FLAGS please, please, please I don’t buy that. It’s like Hooliganism in football where rival Fans taunt each other by burning flags on the terraces. Who has come out with this idea.? This is POLITICS AND NOT FOOTBALL.The person who has even initiated this idea let alone carry it out should be TAKEN AWAY and PUT IN JAIL AS THIS IS NOTORIOUSLY EVIL THOUGHT.

audie61 seriously take this as an attempt to instigate a TRULY EXPLOSIVE situation. It’s uncalled for even by PRS Batang Ai Youth. PM ‘s department and the authorities concerned should seriously look into this very  MINDLESS AND THOUGHTLESS  POLITICAL ACT.

IN Malaysia we have enough problems with death and we do not need our political strategists from any political party be it BN/PAKATAN to even think of this. This will eventually lead to  even worse scenario. It only takes someone to singlehandedly take it a step higher,”TORCH PAS HEADQUARTERS” Then what will happen?

PM Najib we do not need to be reminded of the Brixton,Guildford,Manchester nor Liverpool riots where cities just burn through the night for seven to ten nights in the 80’s. (150 buildings damaged,30 burned down)

We say as always,”Politics is politics, but do not take it overboard and it will turn ugly and the whole country suffers. The country is already suffering economically and we do not need another FLAG BURNING THOUGHT to aggravate the precarious and fluid political situation.

Mission 407 Muhyiddin Heads BN Machinery

In an immediate handing over of duties President of UMNO Najib Razak has handed and put his deputy to tasks as the ‘Head of BN Machinery in the 3 byelections.”

Muhyiddin will oversee all the 3 areas in Bukit Selambau(N25),Bukit Gantang(P59) and Batang Ai(N29). According to informed sources UMNO political strategists and BN headquarters have been instructed to “OIL THE PARTY MACHINERY INORDER NOT TO SUFFER ANY HICCUPS.” This is Muhyiddins first tests as Deputy to Najib and he would use all his experience to counter the Pakatan assault and onslaught.

There has been too  much negativity and ‘dirt thrown”on UMNO says a newly elected UMNO Youth Exco and we will be on the ground to prove it otherwise. The perception that UMNO cannot be reform has been proven otherwise.

The delegates have chosen a “Dream Team’ in UMNO. The people will see that the new “Leadership of UMNO” will deliver what it promises more so than what the Opposition can.

We will be behind our new General on the ground and that is our new deputy President of UMNO Muhyiddin. Mission 407 will be a tough battle on three fronts between BN and Pakatan. Who will capture the hearts and imagination of the voters and the constituents?

The ground zero seems to be pointing to 3-0 or 2-1 either way for both coalitions. Informed sources from the 3 areas have put the BN lagging behind in two areas and just slightly ahead in one area. The respective political machinaries in these 3 areas needs to complete their Mission 407.

They need to revise their strategies in areas where they are  strong and work on their weaknesses. There is still time but it needs to be FAST and FURIOUS.

Nomination is this weekend and Mission 407 will clock off at 5pm. The results will determine which coalition will come out on top.

We say as always,” There is no such thing as “NO PROBLEMS” in politics and there should be discussions to MAP new strategies at the spur of the moment and counter all negativities.Mission 407 is already in ORBIT and will land in 11 days..

Permatang Pauh & KT-Gone.. Pensiangan,Next.??

I was having a reunion class of 78 dinner with my ex classmates about 60 of us who made it with our former Principle Brother Columba of the Mill Hill Brothers fraternity and the results kept coming in from KT was very conflicting with one minute BN leading the next PAS overtaking with about 1500 votes.

Malaysiakini at 9.55pm http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/96645 had this ,” At a press conference tonight, Prime Minister-in-waiting Najib said that the defeat in Kuala Terengganu should not be interpreted as the voters having spurned Barisan Nasional. On the other hand, another internet portal carried,” In a major boost for the Pakatan Rakyat, Pas won the Kuala Terengganu by-election tonight in convincing fashion, with its candidate Abdul Wahid Endut taking the parliamentary seat by a 2,631-vote majority over his closest rival, Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Salleh.

“Perhaps it is because I have known the voters for so long,” said Wahid after his victory was announced. “I believe many of the Chinese voted for me.”

KT is over, done, dusted and the people have made their own choice and BN had another right upper hook at its chin.   Do you honestly think the BN leadership will rest on its laurels? Are they willing to take another gamble? Will Pensiangan be the next battleground for BN?

Najib needs to act fast if he needs to stem out the peoples waver thin support now. Sabah and Sarawak are the bastions of BN support and to gauge that the BN leadership and admistration still commands the majority they need to make sure the by election is called. It will be disastrous for BN I say if the courts decides to favour Tan Sri Kurup and overtune whatever the expected decision. BN needs to show that they are not afraid of the 3rd by election in so many months.

BN has losts Permatang Pauh and KT and do you honestly think that Persiangan will also fall? I told a friend from Sabah” This remains a million dollar question and now it will be up to Sabah to show us the MOOD OF THE WHOLE COUNTRY. BN and Pakatan will be itching to taste the waters across the SOUTH CHINA SEA.

Tonight PAS (Pakatan) celebrates and UMNO (BN) will lick its wounds and carry on and see how much further the whole country will go. It remains to be seen whether Sabah and Sarawak will  fall like the DOMINOES. I still have my reservations as I told my ex classmates of 78.

Ooh Ezam..!! Again 6 Boxes at Anwar

KT is the battlefield and as this Malaysiakini tv http://www.malaysiakini.tv/video/16584.html the people will need to reassess whether using Ezam as a tactic in attacking or slowing down Anwar is working.  There are more pressing matters than the past and the people will want to know what TOMORROW CAN BRING and not WHAT WAS YESTERDAYS NEWS. No clocks can be turned back as we can only use HISTORY TO GUIDE US.

Present day Facts and Statistics will not lie and the Voters nowadays will gauge it themselves. The mindset of the people are different now and for the parties in contention UMNO and PAS it is how they will deliver their message across to win the votes.  We have written substantial accounts on the present day voters and you will be the better JUDGE after watching this video.
