“STUMBLING BLOCK..Who is it….??

The deafening silence which echoed through the FOUR WALLS OF PRS HEADQUARTERS” has woken up the TIGER OF SPDP. We have this copied from Bernama news through Sarawak update .com…..

MIRI, Feb 27 (Bernama) — Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) treasurer-general, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing had asked the party’s senior vice-president Datuk Peter Nansian to name the personality in SPDP who is the stumbling block in the efforts to merge with Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).

In a statement e-mailed to Bernama here on Saturday, Tiong said the group who disagreed with party president Datuk Seri William Mawan Ikom should be bold enough to name the individual rather than making remarks that could only spark speculations.

“I kindly urge Nansian, as well as others with him to immediately stop such comments which is underestimating the intelligence of the majority of the party members,” he added.

He issued the challenge following recent news reports carrying Nansian’s allegations that Mawan and his deputy, Datuk Peter Nyarok were being controlled by a certain personality in SPDP that led them to be unable to act on the merger process.

The challenge was also directed at PRS president Datuk Seri Dr James Jemut Masing who, Nansian had reportedly said, also knew the personality being referred to.

SPDP and PRS, two of the four Barisan Nasional Sarawak component parties, had been discussing the merging for the last five years but the issue heated up again last week after Nansian, along with four other SPDP elected representatives, wanted it to be done immediately.

The other elected representatives with him are Marudi assemblyman, Sylvester Entrie Muran, Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang, Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus and Mas Gading Member of Parliament, Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe.

“4 years On.Saturday & February Again..??”

On Saturday 4th February 2006 the undisputed shortest Supreme Council meeting of any political party attended by 32 SC members happened. The meeting for 10th PRS SC meeting started at 2.04pm and finished at 2.29pm( now termed the 25 minutes meeting before the PRS Crisis) The SC meeting was held also just after Chinese New Year.

What was in the agenda..? Better still what was discussed

  • Opening address
  • Confirmation of Minutes
  •  MERGER OF PARTI RAKYAT SARAWAK AND SARAWAK PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
  • 9th State election.

Item on Merger and this was said,”James assured the Council that he would not leave the Supreme Council, and asked all members of the Council to support him with regards to the merger of Parti Rakyat Sarawak(PRS) and Sarawak Progressive Democratic party(SPDP),to which the council fully endorsed their agreement.

The Council unanimously agree that a Merger Committee would be established with the Deputy Presidents of both parties being the head of the said Merger Committee

Today 27th February 2010 PRS SC council would meet the new Merger committee Road Map Chairman of SPDP Paulus Gumbang and PRS Wilfred Nissom. The Chairman of the Merger committee of both parties are SPDP Peter Nyarok and PRS Billy Abit Joo. Has this been sanctioned by SPDP.??

28th February 2010( sunday) will be SPDP’s turn for the SC. Surely they will be discussing the 5 + 3 SPDP Separatists who has taken their own individual initiative to fast forward the merger plans. What will happen is anyones guess..?

Why the 25 minutes meeting? It was because hidden hands were involved into speculating that there were two factions within PRS slugging it out but in actual fact there was none. It was all due to certain personalities who was not given a fair share of the bargain and today we see this happening in SPDP. Are the people who hyped it all up still around? They certainly are and if we are to retract back it will be like writing a Whole PRS Crisis indetails book. ( tasty and juicy bits included)

So now its another Pre-Emptive move by the SPDP Separatists as put forward by the Hidden Chess players behind James Masing. What was ” THEN “can happen again and even before PRS met the Press eventhough it was a THE 25 minutes meeting this was agreed upon.

‘At the Press Conference to be held after the 10th Supreme Council meeting.YB Dato Sri James Masing and Cr. Ernest Chua, being the Deputy Publicity chief ,would inform the press that there were never any in-fighting within the party, and allnews as produced in the papers were mere speculations.(Still PRS went into a crisis with the sacking on 25th May 2006 of the 6 Appointed Members. There was no turning back from then on and the crisis resolved just after GE in March 2009

Will SPDP be able to remain intact? Its the month of February and from what is happening now the SPDP Separatists have only one mind to park or join PRS but using the merger as an excuse.

They will use the reasons of Stanley Ajang and Gabrile Adit being accepted into SPDP and why not them joining PRS? It will of course make sense as the 5 YBs will still be members of Barisan National and the PM has given them the assurance eventhough the CM has told them to cool it. Its all a delicate situation and Mawan has already invited them back home but still the 5 YBs and 3 SC separatists are still defiant and looking at PRS to park themselves.

It has been 4 years on and this “Merger” plan is still being used by SPDP/PRS members who sees it as an opportunity to camouflage the crisis which they might or may face in the weeks to come.

Plain and Simple:-It must be noted by all concerned that PRS Constitution states in Article XX that the Party shall not be dissolved/merged except by a) resolution passed by the TDC attended by not less than three-fifths of the delegates eligible to attend u nder the provisions of Article VII Clause 1(a) of this constitution. The notice of dissolution/merger shall be submitted to the Registrar of Societies Malaysia within 14 days from the date of dissolution/merger.

Will the merger happened quickly..?? PRS TDC is in May and SPDP had theirs just barely a month ago. Whats the next bests action? EGM and bent the rules and go around the whole process to make it materialise. This The oppostion parties will surely use against the State BN as it faces the rakyat for a new mandate.

CM is absoltuely right when he told the group of Separatists to COOL IT and now itas Crystal clear why he is saying it. Afterall Taib would not be able to be Chief Minister for 28 years without knowing what happens next. Taib also knows his law very well and he has used it to good effect in all his years of political goverance.

Its a tough call for those involved in this BN infighting and at bests it needs o be solved in the mosts amicable and logical way. The Brains needs to work overtime and those HIDDEN CHESS PLAYERS who sees personal agendas as their FOOLS GOLD needs to step aside. This is bigger than them now as the internet age has given many in the political fields an added advantage if they know how to make full use of the technology available.

February its your turn again………….

“Disciplinary Action..War of Words..Viral Infections.!”

At the time when the SPDP President needs all his working brains some of them are no where to be seen and are hiding in their FOXHOLES expecting not to be involved. One even had the cheek to say,”Forget Politics its too dirty and my rice bowl matters mosts.” Joey and Natasha of audie61 were really caught off guard as it seems the Sun Tzu’s doctrine of “Double Spies” is coming true.

There are differences in the party and each action taken are bound to have their consequences. The bridge is burnt and with Nansian as the spokesman in this group saying,”The merger was unsuccessful in the first place with PRS was because of certain personalities. ”

An ardent Mawan supporter said,”In the first place who is he to represent SPDP. He has no Locus Standi and this will be creating a war of words betwen the two BN parties.

PRS members are non commmital as it will lead to more unnecessary dirty linen being washed in the public. PRS members knows that in order to have a merged entity there must be a proper channel with even an EGM called for. This will create certain tension as the party looks forward to its TDC and with the group parking in PRS its a delicate situation for Masing the President.

A former Political secretary of SPDP was even more optimistic and he said to audie61 through sms,” Two more YBs expected to cross over with the group and more divisional and ordinary members.” A close aide to Mawan said ,”Every dog has his day and today we let them have the limelight and tomorrow we shall see meaning on ………Monday.”

It seems that the next course of action for Mawan is the undreaded Disciplinary Action “show cause letter” and this will ultimatedly mean the end and the party doors are closed to the  5 plus the 3 SC members. It also means that they have created  new ” Viral Infections” for the State BN as the election date closes in.

The opposition would be able to use all these to exploit it to the fullest. We remember rightly in our earlier article we mentioned that the SC member said the CM Taib did say to them to stay cool and they have caught a COLD….(Atishoo atishoo whose bright idea to go against the boss..??)

A sms from the SPDP privilege source says,”SPDP to send Show cause letter to unhappy 5 and gang.” Do we need to elaborate whats next…………??

“Thank You Mawan…You read Blogs..??”

An SPDP member telephoned audie61 very early at the break of dawn ,”Hei,Mawan reads blogs.Walau Eh..He must have been influenced by the Pope. The Holy Father must have influenced him so much. Eventhough there are a lot of different opinions on him Mawan is unmoved. The Pope must have touched his heart and bless him and sent him a CLEAR MESSAGE. Whatever it is its up to the people to comment

Earlier  we wrote an article on February 16th 2010,”Mawan.. Even the Pope goes on line.https://audie61.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/mawan-even-the-pope-gets-on-line/ Today on the Borneo Posts Page 6 Mawan was quoted ,”They are just differences of opinion.Whatever has been said in the papers and blogs or otherwise are those things one can expect to happen. But whatever they are ,we can resolve them within our four walls and other BN components should leave it like that.”

audie61 met a SC member who mentioned that the Group of “5′ met the CM for 3 hours while Mawan was accorded only 1 and half hours. However no matter how long the CM met either group the message is precise and clear. They are advised to play it COOL AND NOT TO JEORPADISE BARISAN NATIONAL chances at the next State elections. You want to do housecleaning for the party after the elections is the MEssage from the CM.

So Mawan has finally got his act together and believed that opinions do matter. Even a very close ally and family friend of Mawan said to us that nothing has ruffled Mawan so far and the article must have reverberated through his bones and sent the right signals to him which is indeed a PLUS SIGN FOR MY UNCLE MAWAN.

The extract here,”Its well known that Mawan does not go through the blogs for all the gossips, rumours and speculations and he leaves it to his able lieutenants in Paul Igai and Tiong King Sing to inform him of the next step to take or to lie low. For outside help he uses a former newspaper group editor to chart his political career.”PM Najib and all the top BN leaders do go through the blogs and it is very unwise for Mawan just to listen to and read the main stream media news. He will certainly be left behind in no time.

audie61 would like to thank Mawan for his openness and frankness and we wish him well in finding a right solution for the problems.

“Thats the Way ..Ah ha Ah ha..I like it”

According to our privelege source in SPDP it was mentioned to President Mawan in so many words,”Thats the way I like it” Follow my lead and you will not be sorry and it seems Mawan is in dilemna and who shall he follow. On one side is his Financial Giver while the other his Administrative Boss. If you are in Mawans shoes what do you do..Enjoy this and tell us…

Political “Trojan Horse..??”

Whatever names you want to call it it seems that the defeated Deputy Presidential candidate was a “Perfect Pawn and a Perfect Ploy by Mawan to get rid of the Trojan Horses within SPDP. Its already out in the open and those who have fallen down the wayside or have their days numbered are followers of  Slyvester Entri these people whose names are inscribed in SPDP as instigators are Tiki,Paulus, Gani, Garai,Ida,Kilat Ooops  and a few others. Nansian and Rosey took the olive branch but wil they survive..??

audie61 crew were informed and told in so many words that Philip Ngo was the Perfect Person to drive the knife in. What is this about him saying,’But I chose not to retaliate and simply swallowed the bitter pills…??”I take responsibilty for my own action.I reiterated I am my own man and I choose to remain a loyal member of the party.”

The unhappy Mawans aide said,”What nonsense is he saying as he came out and openly fought against the Deputy President and went against Mawans and Tiongs wishes of Status Quo.  Is he trying to tell us that Mawan all along was instrumental in pitting him against Nyarok.? Or was it Slyvester..? There is no middle ground and if there is he better join DAP who is preaching the middle ground concept. we are 1Malaysia and Philip better make it clear or else his days in SPDP are also as good as numbered. Unless Mawan decides to take him in or he will be worse than a Traitor let alone a Trojan Horse and a Perfect Ploy.

Will we able to trusts him again..? He should have kept quiet and knowing he is not a wanted man in SPDP he decides to come out with a statement. Isn’t he Slyvester closest ally and where was he when Entri needed him with a SHOW OF SUPPORT..?   He should just say I am SPDP and also all the way with the President Mawan. No need to twists and turn and try to paint a picture of innocence.

The SundayPosts  headlines,‘Put SPDP unity above personal interests” must have irked many. Philip has already gone against the wishes of the hierarchy in the first place and who is he to preach SPDP Unity..? The aide conclude ,”Philip is no angel though………………..”

Political “History Does Repeat Itself…..??”

Natasha of audie 61 received an sms from a former staunch SNAP supporter,” James Wong the former President of SNAP( Sarawak National Party) is still alive and he would be clapping his hands and clenching his fists and saying..Yes about time and Thank God History Does Repeat Itself. William led a walkout in SNAP 8 years ago and now he is swallowing his own medicine and its all his own doing. He has been trapped and he should have listened. Thank you.Comments please…

Slyvester Entri’s walkout was not staged nor angered or dissatisfied with the party. He was HUMANLY HUMILIATED infront of his own colleagues and those who followed suit are Principally Correct. Who wants to be treated this way? Would you.? The immediate concern of course will be the BN government who has seen a fair of power struggles in PRS and SUPP. PRS has survived the infighting and has grown stronger as a result while SUPP is still bothered with factional disagreements.

The next  question which will be asked by the BN poltical strategists would be,” What affects SPDP will have direct relevance and impact on the BN4 coalition.”

Is they a need for an EGM.? There are already voices of discontentment of irregularities and versions too of Constitution being disregared and overuled.ROS does need to check it out. There are also calls for Mawan to resign gracefully. Also there are indicators of PBB interferences. In this regard SPDP leaders at all levels must learn to accept and indulge in interactive negotiation to solve the problems besetting the party now.The dirty linens are now being hung in the public which are totally scrutinised and giving pointers to the opposition Pakatan Sarawak to attack the coalition.

Is there a way out for Mawan.? That he has to answer himself together with his closest leiutenants. However there is light at the end of the tunnel for Slyvester Entri. There are already FEELERS being sent to Entri and his aspiring group to join forces with PRS. An aide said to audie61,”At the height of the infighting of PRS Mawan did say for the better good of BN and to strengthen the BN we will accept whichever faction be it Larrys or Masings. Now its Masings turn to recipocate and find a home or parking for those who have walkout and with additions of 5 ADUNS and 1 MP this will put PRS in a very strong and commanding partner in Barisan National. PRS itself has  8 ADUNS and 6 MPS.

Will it work..? Im sure CM Taib will use this to his advantage and if the need arises he will not hesitate to tell PRS to accomodate the legislators for the time being (parking)in preparation for the State elections which might be called sooner rather than later.Even Larry would be accomodated to stand in PRS if it is necessary according to the aide. Who stands to lose will be SPDP and Mawans “status quo” might come back to haunt him and the party. One will not discount this happening as its for the greater good of the coalition. The right political message needs to be handed down by the leaders in SPDP and addressed. There is little time to quarrel let alone fighting for individual egos.

The line has been drawn and if no one extends an olive branch the scenario might just be ripe for the MERGER which has been advocated by the Chief Minister for some nearly three and half years already. There has always been a stumbling block by someone but as we know History does have a hand in Politics.

It is better that they join hands with friends in the other BN component especially if PRS makes the offer to make Sarawak what it ought to be a place where multi racial  understanding at its best, and where goodwill and tolerance  continue to motivate people to work together and learn from each other. Sarawak has enjoyed politcal stabilty and socio-economic development and the shift in the partners in the coaltion might just be the right tonic for BN to go to the people to asks for a new mandate.

SPDP leaders must also look at themselves as agents of change and if History has her own way Entri and his team would be absorbed into Parti Rakyat Sarawak(PRS). A BN supporter aligned to SPDP said,”Let the elephants fight until they are exhausted.Meantime the mousedeer can only watch.”  The inclusion of the YBs does strenthen the BN and he is all for it.How very wise……….
