There is nothing stopping the man when he is on the move. One would be penny wise and pound foolish to even mention the name of the MP Santubong if he is sitting and lazying around in the comfort of his office and doesn’t care about his constituency.
What makes the MP Santubong and MInister of NRE special in the eyes of the people of Santubong? Besides the height and the looks he has a special charisma of they say,”ambil hati” (touching the pulse of the people)
He belongs to the “old school” where he ensures that there are no stones left unturned and he will always be very proactive and he passionately tries to find a solution be it for his constituency or the Ministry he serves. It goes without saying that he has taken all the training from being in the Police Force and impart it upon his public and official life.
He is refined and in his advancing years he is ” like a fine wine. which gets better with age and obviously the best is yet to come.’ He is giving back to the people who have put trust in him and even his colleagues in the cabinet and his ministry officials can vouch for that.

Looking at the bigger picture it would certainly be a big ‘vacuum‘ to fill up. He does have a few good years ahead of him. The people of Santubong constituency will certainly benefit from him.
Even now the 3 State Assemblymans of Tanjong Datu,Pantai Damai and Demak Laut are putting their trusts and support for him to carry on for another term as their Member of Parliament.
The Chief Minister of Sarawak and the Prime Minister of Malaysia knows how professionally the Minister carries out his duties be it in his own constituency or his ministerial duties.
The pulse of the people is very much in his blood and they do likewise supports him unashamedly. He is always on the ground listening and caring for the people.
