GE13 “Could it be November..?”

On September 25th 2011 we wrote that November 2011 could see Malaysians above the age of 21 going to polls to give a new mandate to the present ruling government. A year has lapsed and it seems the feel good factor is again at the doorstep and many pundits are predicting it could be this November 2012. Even Mahathir the former PM short of saying”have it now as further delays would give added advantage to the opposition”

Last year this article got everyone excited of pools looming:-http://www.malaysia-chronicle.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=19785:ge-13-will-be-in-november-and-not-next-year-pakatan-leaders-warn&Itemid=2 . Even the Video Undi-Lah which was released around that time recorded substantial hits on www.youtube.com

How soon and when is still on everyones lips and Malaysians are just waiting for the day Parliament is dissolved.

Could it be Dissolved in November and polling on 12-12-12?

Many in the business sectors feels that the sooner elections is over the better it is as the worldwide economic climate is not too promising. Malaysia would also not be spared from an economic downturn.

ITS PM NAJIB”S CALL AND HE ALONE KNOWS …

” 0 chance ” polls will be held November:

Most schools are closed while SPM and STPM are still going on till early December.

Another reason is most govt officers especially teachers, who make up of majority of the election officers are having holiday.

Unpredictable weather from Nov to March during end of the year will flood many parts of WM.

Najib running scared. He is going to serve the full term. When the elctionsare called even if he loses he will not mind as he has served as a PM. Wonder who will take over as opposition leader then? If its held this year Mahathir even said chances are the ruling government will still make it. Next year its like kissing the golden chair bye bye.

(This is from intenet portal freemalaysiatoday.com)

Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin’s boys want the general election this year. They are pushing Muhyiddin to pressure Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to dissolve Parliament by Nov 30.

Muhyiddin’s supporters feel Nov 30 should be the latest date, or else Umno and Barisan Nasional will be in trouble.

According to them, campaigning in December will give BN a strategic advantage.

The strategic advantage they are talking about is in East Malaysia. A December poll, they believe, will give the Christians (read opposition) less time to campaign, they will be busy with Christmas and have little time to dwell on politics.

And this will be good for the BN as far as Sarawak is concerned as the natives will be also too busy with the festivities to seek out the alternative media. They will thus depend on the propaganda dished out by the government-controlled mass media especially the radio and TV.

In West Malaysia, the middle class, which is seen to be anti-establishment, will be busy taking holidays. Many of them may not be around even to vote if the election is called in December.

And this is what BN needs to win back states like Selangor and Penang.

The Christians in West Malaysia, too, will have little time having to prepare for Christmas, schooling for the children and holidays and may not be around in their respective constituencies.

Tengku Adnan,BN SC of BN says there will be slight changes in BN candidates lineup for the coming GE.

Unlike before most nominated candidates by all BN parties will thoroughly screened and scrutinized by BN chairman Najib as he wants change and only winnable candidates.

Developers targeting for Mega shopping malls are in troubled water.

With more than 20 small and big malls mushrooming all over Kuching,a young city with just a population less than a million, some are facing problems in sales and rentals.

OneTJ,Onejaya and Tabuan Plaza,Sarawak Plaza seem to have lose their ways with little attention and shopaholics.

      It is not your problem!

It is called greed and survival of the strongest.

Alway remember Sarawak was and is the place where pirates in one form or another disguise thrives. In the mall or jungle does not matter.
