SPDP Puteri Barbara P205..Mere Rumours..??

On August 17th 2011 we wrote this article,”PKR vs SPDP-Saratok “The battle rages on” We were told in so many words that the incumbent needs to be replaced if SPDP was to hang on our retain the seat from the grassroots, special branch,Jasa,to the military intelligence. SPDP President on May 5th 2012 said this to the main stream media,”SPDP most likely to offload Jelaing

It will be one year from the period since we wrote on Saratok indepth, plus the SPECIAL REPORTS which have been circulating and we extract one of the words we used than,’ The groundswell is very much against Jelaing as his “Batang Hidung” is not even seen at any of the 3 Malay villages . The “malay” votes are important in this parliamentary seat and SPDP will not chance it again as the reports on the ground is anything but kind to the incumbent. (It has changed considerably from then and we are sure that our very harsh mention and realities have got wind to the Deputy Minister)

Various names have been thrown into the fray including Chambai Lindong,Jasmys Sadan Sagi,Dr,James Chella,Enturan Lupa and even some imported non party members names have been seen to make appearances in this constituency.

This article which appeared in todays mainstream media throws another possibility to the seemingly crowded “interested and winnable” candidacy of P205. Now the Puteri Chiefs name has been thrown into the “shark infested waters of political haggling and lobbying and many will be taking an opportunity to defame, slander her and accuse SPDP President of using his position to build his legacy.

Does Wiliam Mawan have any choices? Mosts Parties groom their own to take over the helm and the likes of DAP( Lim Kit Siang-Lim Guan Eng) MCA (Chua Soi Leck-Chua Tee Yong) PKR( Anwar Ibrahim-Nurul Izzah) UMNO (Mahathir Mohamad-Mukhriz Mahathir) PBB ( Taib Mahmud- Sulaiman Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Taib) and the lists goes on. Even the USA and Philippines Presidents like George Bush,Marcoses,Aquinos are looking at legacies.

Is it Wrong for William Mawan to even think of that.?

Maybe only Azmin Ali would think its wrong when he talked about legacies. PM Najib Razak is now looking at new talents to complement the existing popular YBs and MPs who stand very good chances of being acceptable by the rakyat. Its not so much BN is not popular anymore but as a former Johore MP and Minister  Sharir Samad puts it”The competitive edge and winnable candidate offered”

Times have evolved and change. Nowadays its not the symbol but PERSONALITIES. Politics nowadays is Borderless and Malaysian Parliamentarians are watched upon like “hawks eyes“by the international media.

The political parties have no choice but to listen to the ground”people want to choose the leaders who can deliver, work for them and speak for them in Parliament” The other criterias of humblensess, popularity, acceptance are secondary now.

Its not about Barbara Mawan here but given the party is facing an onslaught from PKR and the words which are unretractable which we publish again here it gives SPDP that chance.

WILL ALI BIJU STAND DOWN?

Extracted:-“Word has got to the ears of an aide close to the PKR assemblyman. He said,”any other persons nominated by SPDP our YB will not stand in the parliamentary seat but if SPDP was to renominate Jelaing or put in Nyarok, there is every chance that he will seriously have to reconsider.

Year Barisan Nasional Votes Pct Opposition Votes Pct
2004 Jelaing Mersat (SPDP) 11,995 72% Edmund Stanley Jugol (SNAP) 4,450 27%
2008 Jelaing Mersat (SPDP) 12,470 76% Mohd Yahya Abdullah (PKR) 3,764 23%

PKR he said was very pleased with the assemblymans stand in his recent comments on rumours in circulation that ,”he was prepared to jump ship and also join SPDP. Furthermore he reiterated that “ he was a staunch Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) man and that was where he would remain.”

There are so many factors for SPDP elections committe to consider and the words of Barbara Mawan,”am more willing to play a complimentary role in the party” is more than a political statement and we should not rule her out. Puteri UMNO is a Sabahan and now a Deputy Minister and Sarawakians should be proud too if SPDP Puteri does get her chance to prove her worth to be speaking for the many young women in Sarawak too in Parliament.

She herself knows that she will be entering”SHARK INFESTED WATERS” where every bite will be painful to swallow and her mental strength needs to be boosted up. audie61 should be amongst the first to inform the readers if she takes that road and embark on another journey of her life.

She has said it” Personally,I describe the speculation as an honour, but unfortunately there is no truth to it”

WE SHALL SEE WOULDN’T WE.??

Shhhhhhh..Pay Back Time.!!

A former youth chief of a component party said to us,”It’s seems that one can enjoy success and power for only a while when they forget the people who assist them to get there.”

This article which appears at todays main stream media, “http://www.theborneopost.com/2012/06/12/grassroots-leaders-shut-their-doors-on-donald-lawan/. goes as far back as July 25th 2005. That particular afternoon the Supreme Council meeting turned into more or less into a “shouting match” and started the animosities which followed between two factions and the eventualities that followed which is history today . Soon it will be 7 years and …..

He said “What comes around goes around

Isn’t it ironic that the people in the picture shown were once his very own supporters and they have now turned around against the very person they support.

The youth chief said the political lesson is simple “Its a double edge sword and ensure you keep your promises…….

Pakatan-Friendly An Election Trend…??

Wow… !!

So Much Love and Friendship in the symbols.

Apparently the initators of both the parties in Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (Ikatan) and Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) have something in common.

Both were MPs (members of Parliament) together. Also they do bond together our sources tell us. (sure you already know that…)

The President of Ikatan is a Former information minister Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir and the party was launched on June 7th 2012 while Dato Sng Chee Hua (former MP Julau,ADUN Pelagus and former Deputy President PRS) is the prime mover behind SWP and his son Larry was elected as President and the party was launched on May 28th 2012.

Well,It will be the Malaysian General Elections soon. Stranger than normal things do happen during these times. Asks DCM Alfred Jabu and he will say..mushrooming only during…... Is it a Trend for the new parties ? So next time when one shakes a hand lets ask this question…Ready,Steady and Go….

Are you Pakatan-Friendly,BN-Friendly or People-Friendly?

Anwars “10 Majority Seat to Putrajaya”

Oooops! Whats Happening.!

A Pakatan Sarawak YB sounded so upbeat and said “We are on the way to Putrajaya and my boss has targetted 10 seats majority) http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2012/06/06/anwar-looking-at-10-seat-majority/)

The Political Perception is in contrast to what Najib is doing postponing a mandate and he is so afraid and others will have to go with him too.”

Our  Pakatan machinery is so vibrant says the YB and BN is insecure even trying to use whatever ways to entice the voters back to them and there is also talk of BR1M a second time round by DPM Muhyddin.  One after another of the YBs in Pakatan (from  Mujahid Yusof Rawa to Lim Kit Siang) are coming out to attack BN and it seems Najib is pushing the election dates further down the line.

Even in the FB (Facebook) we came across this picture which is being circulated round which does not help the ruling coalition. Very soon mosts of the BN YBs would be on hypertension pills( Diltizem,Perinace or Co-Diovan) if the dates are prolonged further. Its very taxing and involves a lot of man hours to be a politician and many of them are already carrying pills of some sort.(yeah, mosts of them say its supplement..hahaha)

Najib as the head of the ruling coalition will not want to have the honours of losing the GE after BN has ruled for the lasts 55 years. The opposition parties have got nothing to loose as they will use Political Perception, dessiminating information and bringing out the BN wrongs or misdeeds to ensure the people will vote for them.

Najib knows very well and he will need all the assurances from the ground and least political risk to ensure that BN maintains the control of Putrajaya.

Eventhough Pakatan havepainted the overall BAD PICTURE OF BN Losses in the next GE13 Najib will wield his MAGIC WAND and reverse the trend.

WE WILL KNOW SOON WOULDN”T WE. DID YOU MANAGE TO CALL PM NAJIB ……??

1 of 222 Malaysian Members of Parliament….

YOUR CHOICE OF PARLIAMENTARIANS IN 222 CONSTITUENCIES

Over the long Gawai weekend it was not only a time of celebration, exchanging pleasantries but also many political gossips especially from the grassroot and voters from the constituencies. One particular area which is basically a semi rural seat where the local flavour/winnable,humble and acceptable candidate is very much the order of day is none other than Mas Gading 192 Parliamentary seat.

Its also an understanding between the Jagoi/Singai group that in 1996 they drew out an agreement that one of the clauses stated that when the MP is from the Jagoi community then the assemblyman has to be from the Singai group.

One voter even said,” you just look at the list which is being drawn up by the holding party SPDP here Rayan Narong, Anthony Nogeh, William Jinep, Henry Jinep and Ik Pahon Joyik. After much
politiking it is now SPDP’s choice which is Salcra deputy general manager Anthony Nogeh as their pick for Mas Gading in the coming 13th general election.

OK they say to keep the peace as per agreement,Henry Jinep will have to contain with a state seat in the next elections replacing Tasik Biru incumbent Peter Nansian while Nogeh will be the replacement for Tiki Laffe.
Its not about the state elections now this is about the Parliamentary seat where DAP/PKR are in direct tussle,STAR and other independants are also eyeing this seat.

But to the many who were randomly asked and spoken to many still feel “Tiki is very much still the man to beat. He is HARMLESS as he doesn’t care too much about politiking but still does his job efficently especially though in the lasts 6 months.(hehehe)

He does however look arrogant but in actual fact he is approachable and has a listening ear to his constituents. Many feels that the Federal leaders are still very much in favour of Tiki as they have extended his tenure as NSTC(national service training camp) Chairman.

Brother they said,”Isn’t it better to know the devil who you are familiar with than to know a Saint who will turn out to be worst than you can imagine..?.”

SPDP will have their hands full this time round unless Tiki tells us otherwise.

Parliament of Malaysia: Mas Gading, Sarawak[5]
Year   Barisan Nasional Votes Pct   Opposition Votes Pct
1999   Tiki Lafe (SPDP) 10,684 60%   Patau Rubis (STAR) 6,664 25%
2004   Tiki Lafe (SPDP) 10,579 56%   Patau Rubis (SNAP) 7,867 42%
2008   Tiki Lafe (SPDP) 8,551 58%   Patau Rubis (SNAP) 4,250 29%

We came across this statement from an internet portal and this bests describe what we meant by picking 1 is difficult whatmore 222 candidates for Malaysia Parliament.

Malaysians should choose their leaders without fear or favour and support those who can deliver the goods. Candidates with tainted background should be removed. Only those willing to sacrifice and serve the people should command the respect and recognition of Malaysians to safeguard and strengthen the future of the nation.

ARE YOU ALL IN AGREEMENT? WE SAW YOU NOD
