GE13 “Pakatan in Putrajaya “

Sarawak Independant Pelagus YB George Lagong said this morning,”It’s not looking so good for BN. But one musts remember in the pursuit of Putrajaya both sides have equal chances to win in a General Election. If one wants to “shine” do you tell the other person how you are going to shine?

In my case,”Ulu Rejang I will not be overly confident eventhough in recent days a number of disturbing reports have appeared against his party and the incumbent. This report will do more harm than good for the incumbent

Independant YB George Lagong do share the same thoughts as the PAS deputy leader Mohamad Sabu who said” Pakatan may win more seats in the next election but it would be difficult to topple BN.” The full report can be read in FMT but we extract some points for your analysis:-

Mat Sabu forecasts that Pakatan would need to win some 20 to 25 parliamentary seats in Sabah and Sarawak if the coalition were to knock BN off its perch. But for now, he predicts Pakatan winning only between 10 and 15 seats in those states, particularly in urban areas like Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Tawau and Sandakan.

2008 the BN coalition won 140 to 82 Pakatan. We look at Sarawak grey/black seats which audie61 have put up about a week ago. The 82 seats then 1 each were from Sabah/Sarawak. We add it up to at worst in Sarawak 15 (see below) and Sabah 6 which equals 21. If Pakatan maintains in Peninsular 80 and add 15 seats it will be all over for BN Government.

95+21=116 To Pakatan, BN 106

PM Najib would be looking over his shoulders and now he will not leave anything to chance. Sarawak/Sabah has 56 seats and he will do utmosts within his powers to ensure the figures of 15 from Sarawak is reached and 6 in Sabah. It could even be the other way round as Sabahans have a track record of toppling State governments USNO and PBS felt the change of voting trends and the wrath of people power.

With everything on the line Najib and his strategists will not chanced anything and will study ground reports, receive feedbacks from relevant sources and also take out the obstacles which might hinder a BN comfortable win.

Some of the 15 BN grey/black seats belongs to:-

  • 1.P192-Mas Gading Tiki Lafe SPDP(Party Infighting)
  • 2.P196-Stampin Yong Khoon Seng SUPP( Party infighting-Chinese voters)

PKR”Jangan Lawan Towkay”

It seems that everyway you go at the moment the favourite phrase uttered amongst politicians is,”Remember Jangan Lawan Towkay” It has caught fire in the local political circle in sofar as describing Senior Minister and President of PRS James Masing’s “warning or blemish”

Some people never learn says PKR YB See Chee How as he posted something similar to my wall in FB and in it he said,” Bro,BN can be defeated just by their leaders opening their mouths.”

I was curious and telephoned ADUN Batu Lintang up and what he meant was that it referred to a posting by SUPP Youth SG Wilfred Yap. Its not dissimilar to Masings he said.

He should have just zapped it and try to avoid a backlash plus condemnation, says YB See. But what actually sparked the flurry of activities which left a distasteful feeling in the mouths of some.

Wilfred posted in his personal Facebook,’ The people still don’t understand the power they have in their hands. So vote the BN Government to ensure continuity towards stability and a high income economy.’

So finally SUPP got the opposition to come out fighting but it was only PKR we thought. But looking at the comments which we copied for all to see it has irked many. Be ready SUPP for more gunfire, artillery and mortars thrown at your direction. Wilfred has justs “pissed” of  one too many.

SUPP Cyber troopers be ready to lend a hand..Where are you..??

    • SyJen Simon SiahSec-Gen of SUPP Youth said that to ensure continuity towards stability and a high income economy, we have to vote the BN Government? What crap is this? Wawasan 2020 for a high income nation is only 8 years away and according to Idris Jala we are going bankrupt by 2019. As a matter of fact most Malaysians especially Sarawakians are still living below poverty line. BN has cheated us for over 50 years, give them another chance to cheat us for another 50 years? NO WAY. BN Must Go.

    • Derrick LeeThat’s not for him to say at all. He is a Partner at a law firm owned and operated by the Deputy Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament and only God knows how he got there. Perhaps he’s work his way up to today’s position or the government may have helped him in some way in his conquest. Either way, Malaysians not linked to the BN government in general have worked their arses off to make a living with costs rising. The State BN government and Federal BN government doesn’t even see eye to eye. Najib says Malaysia to be wealthy nation by 2020 whereas Taib said Sarawak to be wealthy state by 2030. Is Sarawak not part of Malaysia? His mind-set, is disappointing and it shows that he is completely out of touch with the people. Bottomline is they still consider Malaysians to be stupid, it’s either them or the other way round.

    • Leon LeeAnother one of these kind of character. Plenty of these in BN. Just like the Mong Dagang fellow, the ppl within the corridors of power in BN has been ruling the nation for far too long. So much so, they have long forgotten the true spirit of democracy and that the saying “A government by the people, of the people and for the people” is not mere rhetoric. Instead, it is a reminder that the Gov of the day is there to serve us, the common Rakyat.. and not the other way around.

SUPP is history.  We don’t need Chinese representation; we just need honest, god fearing Sarawakians to implement just and fair governance and give help to those  who are marginalised or less priviledged.

DAP “Cutting SUPP’S Ribbons..!!”

How times have changed. The once powerful SUPP party has been cut down to size and now a new power has emerged. DAP who used to “slander and make fools of SUPP YBs”have taken over the roles of looking after the Chinese Interests in Sarawak.

SUPP to DAP is justs a party that is living on borrowed time and if this picture is a clear Perception that DAP is telling SUPP,” The tables have turned.” Eventhough its a opening/launching of a new advocate for YB Ting Tze fei (ADUN Meradong) the opportunity presents itself to make it a Picture Political statement to SUPP.

The Chinese newspapers wants to know what we do now and not SUPP. SUPP has merely got two(2)only Chinese YBs while we have 12. Thats a whole lot of difference.

But on the other side of the coin,”SUPP should be telling DAP-practise what you preach not only cutting RIBBONS too. ” Is this a deliberate act to tell the SUPP YBs? If you can, we can too but we are superior to you now. YOU ARE NOBODY NOW

SUPP should also be fighting their own publicity war which is UNFORTUNATELY is very lacking and moreover their constituencies are in fact in the urban constituencies where mosts people are computer and social media savvy.

SUPP will be anniliated if they continue to be ENGROSSED IN IN-FIGHTING instead of fighting the enemy outside which is DAP and PKR.

Component parties cybertroopers in PBB,PRS and SPDP and BN blogs can only assist so much but if their own machinery are not working overtime but still have the attitude that we will cross the bridge when the time comes ‘ EVEN GOD CANNOT HELP THE PARTY

SUPP, now DAP is laughing at you and they will continue to be the peoples choice unless you step up your game.

SPDP5 “Reconciliation…??”

BN Sarawak Chairman and CM Taib has said this two statements today,’

1.If they want to be as they are like their present situation, then let it  be…give them time to probably find a way to reconcile. I think that is not  completely impossible.“I think SPDP has much to lose and without five of its elected  representatives the party is not in a good position.

2.Taib Mahmud yesterday shot down the idea of a new party to accommodate the  five elected representatives who were sacked from SPDP recently for gross  insubordination.

“I don’t think that (formation of a new party) is a good idea because there  will be many hurdles for them to overcome.“They have to get the consensus of all Barisan Nasional (BN) parties to  enable them to be accepted as a member of BN … so it is quite a big hurdle’

There were many frantic phone calls and sms received by grassroots supporters and many were unhappy with CMs statement. But remember he has to balance his ship or the whole crew will start fighting and the ship will be veared off course.

SPDP “thinking caps” are already put in place and basically SPDP has the upper hand. The constitution is above all and CM Taib does follow the RULE OF LAW and its up to the sacked SPDP5 to interpret. CM is a trained lawyer and he has helmed the political ladder in Sarawak for a good 30 years.

Does the SPDP5 know their roles and their constitutional  laws..?

I might be wrong but I remember rightly during the height of the PRS crisis the then Chief Political secretary of CM who is now Assistant Minister Karim Hamzah said,”We follow the constitutional law in politics but we go around it sometimes to suit the political climate.”

We can quote to you as the DSG Paul Igai said,”we got the upperhand and ArticleX111  No. 5. states Any decision of the Supreme Council on the sacking shall be final and shall not be appealed from and questioned in any Tribunal or Court of Law.”

CM Taib knows this and he knows by the next elections if these YBs are not back in their respective parties SPDP they will lose their seats and will not be renominated. Clear examples being former YB Larry Sng,YB Gabriel Adit,YB Stanley Ajang,YB Jawah Gerah,YB Jimmy Donald.

Did Larry get renominated by PRS…??

In article XIX of the constitution if i may:-

1.Any person who has resigned, being expelled or whose membership has been cancelled for any reason whatsoever, may apply to be re-admitted as a member of the party after a lapse of two (2 years) after his resignation, expulsion or cancellation of his membership unless the Supreme Council determine otherwise which the decision of the Supreme Council is FINAL

CM Taib has been advised and he knows time is a healer eventhough the scar might remain.

PKR “Blunder by Rafizi Ramli…?!!”

Earlier we were told even by a Deputy Minister that PKR seems to be on attack mode and now they have even targetted the Prime Ministers daughters wedding dinner to the nephew of a Kazakh leader.

Is it wrong to send the bill to the Prime Minister himself and the bill is addressed to him personally at Prime Minister’s office asks the Deputy Minister who spoke to audie61?

The PM’s department has issued a statement which reads,”

“PKR’s strategic director Rafizi Ramli should apologise for his allegations, which are false, defamatory and a deliberate smear on the Prime Minister’s reputation,” the Prime Minister’s Office said.

“No public funds were used to meet the costs of his daughter’s engagement reception, which was paid for personally by the Prime Minister and his family.”

Datuk Tengku Sariffuddin bin Tengku Ahmad (Press Secretary to the Prime Minister of Malaysia)

DAP Sarawak”BN glass shatters 12 seats or more..?..!!”

It seems the prediction made by Lim Guan Eng CM Penang on penetrating the bastion of Sarawak BN of 12 seats might justs come true now. Previously he could have justs based it on the troubles within SPDP and SUPP. But now it does seem the infection is about to be spread to PRS.

Did it take SPDP or SUPP insider to make sure that PRS does not become complacent or overwhelming confident? Did they know that PRS has some weak achilles heel? Surely not, as James Masing is confident and bold enough to predict that the opposition will lose all the 6 seats they contests against BN/PRS which has appeared consistently in the main stream media.

Now the game plan has changed. Former PRS youth exco and now DAP Branch chairman Leon Jimat Donald has indeed got back at his former boss in Youth Chief Mong Dagang. The case of the disabled man Frusis Lebi being given a letter signed by Assistant Minister of Agriculture Mong Dagang as directive to his officer to stop all subsidies and welfare allowance as Frusis had supported the opposition.

This has indeed propelled Leons rating and his willingness to fight all out for Frusis has indeed won him many new friends in Facebook, social media blogs and even amongst BN leaders. BN leaders and grassroots are indeed puzzled as to why the Minister should have used a letterhead of the department to inform the assistant director. Could he justs have not called him to the office?

Strange but damage has been done.

But we justs hope that BN members would not all call for the assistant minister to step down. In other countries the minister would have hung his head in shame and leave office without much fanfare. The people will defend no doubt that its the prerogative of the Chief Minister as far as minster appointments are concerned.

Doesn’t this give the CM a chance to promote someone else and use this as a punishment for misusing the office. The CM will be commended by the people and no less Najib who uses the slogan,”People first,Performce now”

There are many in the BN who have come out to condone the action by Mong Dagang and below are few of the quotes:-

  1. Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan, who initially suspected the directive signed by Mong was fake, said on microblogging site Twitter today that the act was “old politics” and “wrong .Aid to the poor and OKUs must be beyond political affiliations
  2. Gerakan Youth chief Liew Pok Boon expressed “shock” over Mong’s directive.
  3. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Koh Tsu Koon said the government would not allow similar incidents to happen.”I believe the federal government will not do things like this.

Now it has gotten worse with James Masing coming to the rescue of his Youth Chief and assistant minister.Masings was quoted by the media,”Masing told voters to “follow a rule of life – jangan lawan towkay [don’t fight the bosses]” following Dagang’s directive to cancel the aid to the disabled man

Isn’t this music to the ears of the opposition?

Surely, CM Penang LGE who was in Sibu musts have have a big smile when these news broke out. His prediction did not include PRS safe seats. Now in his little black book he musts be penning another ‘winnable seat” in Sri Aman which is being held by BN/PRS MP Masir Kudat.

Could James Masings statement come back and haunt him as he now has to battle the negative perception of the voters in his 6 seats. This news will filter through to all the 6 seats as the opposition are now even more determined to battle against PRS.

Even PKR YB  See Chee How was stunned whatmore DAP CM LGE,”“One would have expected Masing, as a senior minister, to control the damage inflicted on the Barisan Nasional government in the wake of Dagang’s action.”

There are a number of seats which are termed 50/50 and winnable by the opposition. Is there an underlining message from CM Taib that the Fedral needs him more than ever to deliver the seats as 12 or more might justs fall if he is not at the helm. CM Taib lead the coalition to winning the State Elections by winning 55 over 16 losed seats.

We do not want to be called soothsayers/clairvoyants in predicting losses for BN or else we might justs have our computers taken away with directive from you know who…hik hik hik. Our reporting is based on groundswell,JASA,Federal government agencies,SB and party members who are talking only about the 31 parliamentary seats.

Some of the BN grey/black seats belongs to:-

  • 1.P192-Mas Gading Tiki Lafe SPDP(Party Infighting)
  • 2.P196-Stampin Yong Khoon Seng SUPP( Party infighting-Chinese voters)
  • 3.P199-Serian Richard Riot SUPP (Party Infighting)
  • 4.P120 Batang Sadong-Nancy Shukri PBB(candidate infighting)
  • 5.P201 Batang Lupar-Rohani Abdul Karim PBB (candidate infighting)
  • 6.P202 Sri Aman-Masir Kujat PRS(voters anger)
  • 7. P203 Lubok Antu -William Ngallau Badak PRS (voters anger)
  • 8. P205-Saratok Jelaing Mersait SPDP (party infighting)
  • 9. P208 Sarikei-Ding Kuong Hing SUPP (party infighting-chinese voters)
  • 10.P211 -Lanang Tiong Thai King (Party infighting-Chinese voters )
  • 11.P213 Mukah-Leo Toyad  PBB(candidate infighting)
  • 12.P216 Ulu Rejang Billy Abit PRS (candidate infighting-voters anger)
  • 13.P219 Miri Peter Chin Fah Kui (Party infighting -chinese voters)
  • 14. P220 Baram Jacob Sagan SPDP(Party infighting)
  • 15.P221 Limbang Hasbi Habibolah PBB(Candidate infighting)

It counts as breakdown for the BN party as PBB 4 seats,SUPP 5 seats,PRS 3 seats and SPDP 3 seats. This is not very healthy and if Najib sees this figures he musts be realistic enough to know all is not well in Sarawak. The opposition DAP at present time has 2 seats in P195 Kuching Chong Chieng Jen and P212 Wong Ho Leng.

Najib will be overly worried as it looks very fragile for BN in general going to the GE13. The opposition calls UBAH,No more PEK MOH meaning down with CM Taib in urban areas have won them 12 seats for DAP 1 PKR in the last state elections,2 rural for PKR and 1 independant. Will Najib not be concerned of Taibs administration now with even his senior Minister James Masing shattering the BN glass house.

It is of a very deep concern and CM Taib musts be overly worried looking over his shoulders and wondering what is next. Action and Ruthless actions musts be taken in order to secure his own position. It seems PRS has now given him a new headache and the normal medications prescribed will not be enough if he does not go for some antibiotics.

A quick injection would and might see an end to Mongs political career but a big face saving exercise for Taibs adminstration.

Najib would use it as “WE BN do take actions when necessary to ensure our legislators follow the rule of democracy and LIM GUAN ENG will be silenced at the polls”
