35 “Won”PBB seats still have to step down meh..?

On May 3rd we wrote this article,”Exit sounds familiar” and exactly two weeks later this comes out again. Francis Siah repeatedly saying,’ “We will continue to pressure him to step down if he does not do so by Aug 13 ”

The question now according to a former editor is who has given him not only the GUTS but it does seem that some” higher authority” is giving the word Go” GREEN LIGHT”? It’s not very likely that he is just using Movement for Change, Sarawak (MoCS).Honestly if there are thousands and thousands of Sarawakians behind him I will stand down and not even thought otherwise. Surely, next he will deny all this and says he is doing it for Sarawak.

If Taib has led his party PBB to a disastrous outing and garnered just 15 out of 35 seats he will also make an EXIT. But this is out of the extraordinary and winning 35 seats is no mean feat. The Party Presidents of SUPP,PRS and SPDP did not even get a 100%?

Francis Oh Francis please look around and see who can boast that record as compared to Taib. 2 State elections (2006 and now 2011) he has led PBB to exemplanary results and you  are barking at PBB the party. They have enough leaders in PBB to oust Taib if he did not perform as a PRESIDENT of the party. Abdullah Badawi suffered the same fate and if UMNO has achieved 100% would Badawi be asks or pressured to abdicate?

We can go on and on but in the end you will be saying we are no better just ‘apple polishing” But this is a fact and you are running away and using other issues to attack Taib. He is no angel and we agree on that and so are many other leaders who came before him. Do we need to name them? There is no need and you are just blinded by your obsession of attacking Taib and whatever anyone says or threats or police action will not stop you.

When people attack STAR your political platform at one time you will obviously stand up and defend.Whats wrong with PBB members defending Taib? Anything wrong my friend Francis..?

This article clearly proves it:- MoCS leader: Cops no cause to arrest me

A further indicator of what we meant can be clearly seen with this article which we copied for your reference on this topic:-

Free Malaysia Today

KUCHING: Despite threats of arrests from the police, Movement for  Change, Sarawak (MoCS) will continue to do what it has pledged to do –  that of demanding Chief Minister Taib Mahmud to step down.

We will continue to demand Taib to step down,” said MoCS leader Francis Siah when contacted today.

Siah, who is presently in Sabah, said that the CID (Criminal  Investigation Department) officers had wanted to see him regarding his  statement asking Taib to step down.

“I will not see the CID officers without the presence of my lawyers,”  he said, adding that a police officer from Kuching had called him over  the statement.

“Now they (Barisan Nasional leaders) are using the police to harass me.

“But we are not afraid of the threats by the police, and we will  continue to do what we have pledged to do, that is asking Taib to step  down.

“We will continue to pressure him to step down if he does not do so by Aug 13,” he added.

Jelly fish Jabu

Replying to Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu’s condemnation of MoCS  recently, Siah said it was pointless trading barbs with Jabu, whom he  likened to a “jelly fish without back bone”.

“He is best known for saying or doing things against his own  conscience by taking all sorts of instructions from his boss,” he added.

In criticising MoCS, Jabu had said the movement was going against the wishes of the people in asking Taib to step down.

He said that Taib should not entertain MoCS’ call which was coming  from “the mouth of frustrated individuals advocating politics of  backwardness and hatred against the wish of the majority of  Sarawakians”.

Jabu suggested that MoCS should be changed to ‘Movement for change  for backwardness in Sarawak’ to better reflect their ignorance,  frustration and denial.

Another PBB leader, Abdul Aziz Adenan, who is also the PBB Youth  information chief, has described MoCS as a public threat because it  undermined the legitimate process of election by demanding Taib to step  down in three months.

Pointing out that no one has the right to make such a demand, Abdul  Aziz said that Taib and other BN leaders have been given fresh mandate  by the people to continue leading the state.

“By giving Taib an ultimatum to step down by Aug 13, MoCS is actually making a mockery of democracy in the state.

“MoCS has no right to ask the chief minister to vacate his post when the rakyat have decided otherwise.

“This shows that MoCS has no respect at all for the rule of law in  the country,” he said although admitting that as an NGO, MoCS has a  democratic right to express its opinion on any subject.

“But it should know that questioning the mandate of the rakyat is not a wise move,” Abdul Aziz said.

We say again “35 PBB seats returned Party President asks to leave..??”

  2. If the reports of Jakim is correct ” one Muslim divorces in every 15 minutes “, that is terrible.

They should watch more on TV 1 program ” sejiwa, sejati normally by popular singers, actress and the rich dataks abd datins talking big of their great loves but found them divorce too in just short while.really pathetic.

Showing bad example instead of educating the public.

  3. Audie 61 you had posted too much apple-polishing articles on Taib’s supremacy, it’s very doubtful whether its reaches out to him or not.

Such postings have too shy away most your fans and supporters that why you have single digit comments in most of your writings.

  4. MoCS is not a one man show. It is an organisation better run by Taib’s PBB with a successor as compared to 30 years of Taib without a successor but only apple polishers and bootlickers to show. Any attempt to arrest Francis I am afraid will trigger an early demise of Taib. MoCS is not the only NGO to announce they will take to the streets. Plans throught Sarawak and West Malaysia are on the drawing board to carry one out with or without MoCS.

You read from me here first “Taib is on MACC Radar Screen”. Go call MACC and comfirm what I say. We say to PBB Youth and BN Youth, better spend your time demonstrating against MACC and defend that senile oldman with all every ounce of your energy.

The State was stolen by Taib, Datuk Raziah Mahmud. It is as simple as that. Taib knew he would lose. How do you explain the “extra vote” in an appointed speaker. That is not clever and democratic.

Taib is not my CM. He has to go.

  5. Audie too much praising that overlook the *great development* undertaken by Taib in his 30 years in power.

  6. Francis Siah, what a pitiful soul!! you are.Dont you know that taib had attainrd 2/3 majority during the last 10th dun general election?? the majority of the sarawak voters had entrusted taib to lead the sarawak government again. If you are not satisfied with taib`s in becoming the CM of Sarawak, you should have challenged him at his constituency at Balingain.nothing will stop you from doing so.as this is the process of democracy, sarawak`s government that is led by taib is a democratic government elected by the people for the people.well we will see whether taib will step down or not and also we will see whether you will enough crowd to show your power off…ahaa!!

  7. Audie61 is telling truths and facts … you might think it’s apple polishing cos it’s against your ways of seeing things and against your personal wishes really. Anybody is free and responsible for words of his own, but talk facts and don’t manipulate truths for lies. Respecting rule of law is the basic and prime factor for survival in whatever mission we projected, people support the truths and not the hatred and disharmony and disunity we promoted. Democracy is not only about FREE speeches ONLY but observing the limits and boundaries is nonetheless a must too. We should be able to set aside our low personal mileage in politics and think wisely pertaining to people’s future and nation’s peace and harmony. Because in whatever we are championing politically, the rakyat and state and nation are our main agenda for good cause. Popularity will not work and serve no future for the people. Think about it. Anyway congatulate Audie for job well done. Save our Sarawak and save the people who love peace.

  9. Deputy minister of education Wee Ka Siong says PSD officers failed to award scholarships according to govt criteria.

Those who are qualify did not get give the grants instead given to those who are not qualify.

he further reiterated that this the worst year on how JPA scholarships were awarded.

Students with 11A+,10A+ or 9A+ are given only local matrikulasi while those with 4 to 5 As are given oversea studies.

If this trends continue many of Barisan Parties will close shop because such practice will only scare away young voters.

Never under estimate the power of youths, look at what happen to SUPP.

  12. My question to PBB leaders is, ” Is Taib Mahmud democratically elected as a state representative of Balingian and endorsed to be the CM of BN government of Sarawak to squander, plunder and unilaterally grab NCR and state lands, awarding of mega government projects at highly inflated project cost to be given to his family and cronies?”. Had any democratically elected state representatives and ministers from BN Sarawak ever exercised his or her right to question all the wrongs Taib has been doing and has committed in the last 31 years? You want to talk about logic and democracy in defending the president of PBB and the CM of Sarawak, you should be looking at the above records and the allegations of Sarawak Report which were supported by stacks of documentary proof. If the Police wish to take statement from MoCS chief for what they termed as “seditious” remark that he made, Sarawakians demand that the police call in Taib Mahmud to record his statement for all the police reports made against him.

I wish to challenge all PBB leaders and the Police to respond to the following article if they are not already harbouring a criminal.

KUCHING: Governments in eight countries have been urged to freeze assets belonging to Sarawak Chief Minister Taib Mahmud and his family members following a disclosure today that 49 companies over there were linked to him.

Anti-corruption and anti-money laundering authorities in the eight nations were also urged to launch investigations into Taib-linked businesses.

Revealing the names of the 49 companies, the Swiss-based Bruno Manser Fund (BMF) said: “The Bruno Manser Fund has today released a blacklist of companies related to the family of Abdul Taib Mahmud, the long-serving Chief Minister of the Malaysian state of Sarawak.

“The blacklist contains the names and company numbers of 49 companies in eight countries which are thought to be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, of US dollars. A considerable number of the companies are active in the real estate and property sector.”

The list included 13 Malaysian companies and firms in Australia (10),Canada (nine), Hongkong (seven), US (four), British Virgin Islands (three) and Jersey (one).

(The list can also be viewed under: stop-timber-corruption.org/resources.)

Among the Malaysian companies, the most notable is the Taib family-owned Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS) which incidentally is the state’s largest private company, and the Ta Ann logging group.

The other companies listed are Sakto, an Ottawa-based property developer and London-based Ridgeford Properties which deals in high-end realty. Also on the list is Wallysons Inc, the owners of the FBI Northwestern Regional Headquarters building in Seattle.

FMT previously reported that Wallysons Inc was believed to be co-owned by Taib’s son and Kota Samarahan MP Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib and son-in-law, Sean Murray.

CMS was involved in the construction of the Bakun hydroelectric dam and the RM300 million parliament building in Kuching.

    Prosecute the Taibs

BMF’s list confirms extensive reports, which have been circulating on the web in recent months, about Taib’s colossal wealth in Sarawak and abroad derived from corruption and the destruction of the state’s rainforest through logging and oil palm plantations.

“The blacklist’s intention is to help the listed countries’ anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering authorities identify and freeze illicit Taib assets in their countries.

“Corruption has been identified as one of the main drivers of deforestation in Sarawak,” BMF said, adding that in 2007, the Tokyo tax authorities had uncovered a massive corruption scheme involving kickbacks to the Taib family.

In return for payments to Taib’s family, nine Japanese shipping companies had received export licences to carry logs to Japan, Sarawak’s largest timber export market.

Described as one of the most corrupt politicians in Southeast Asia, Taib’s illicit wealth has also been blamed for the state’s poverty status.

Land grabs and illegal logging have deprived Sarawak’s indigenous communities of their land and livelihood.

“Taib and his family members have illegally acquired assets worth billions of dollars in Malaysia, Canada, the UK, Australia, US and other countries.

“These assets should be restituted to the people of Sarawak, and the Taib family should be prosecuted for corruption, abuse of public funds, fraud, money-laundering, tax evasion and other related crimes” a posting on the BMF site stated.

    Global pressure

BMF is also mobilising international political pressure against Taib and his family and had launched an online signature petition against timber corruption.

Taib, who has helmed Sarawak since 1981, holds three key portfolio as Chief Minister, Minister of Finance and State Planning and Resources Minister.

Together, the three portfolios collectively give him a RM38,000 a month salary and allow him “god-like” powers over every aspect of Sarawak life.

Online newsportal Sarawak Report has in recent months exposed Taib’s billion dollars worth of foreign properties in Australia, Canada, the US and London, native customary rights (NCR) lands being leased to his crony companies and members of his family and land grab issues.

Meanwhile, DAP has also accussed Taib of failing to account for a staggering RM4.8 billion of Sarawak’s funds over the past three years alone.

Several parties have lodged reports against Taib through the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), but no action has been taken todate.

Taib, too, has not responded to any one of these allegations.

Blacklist of Taib’s secret foreign assets

  13. Pandi Suhaili is just another anjing kurup who seems to know best what works and does not work for Pakatan Rakyat. As a Parti Bohong Bumiputra Vice Youth Chief, he is oblivious to all the plunders, squanders and power abuse committed by his boss, the thief minister of Sarawak. UMNO has failed miserably in spinning about the unworkable relationship between PAS, DAP and PKR and yet he is trying his luck to spin like UMNO.

If Pandi thinks PBB and BN really care about the rakyat he should ask his boss Taib to refute and deny all allegations made by Sarawak Report and NGOs and make a pledge that should there be any basis and truth in the allegations, he will call for Taib to step down and be accountable for all the ill gotten wealth.

Stop acting like an anjing kurup !
