“Whither 1 Malaysia”

We have been receiving a number of smses on the protests of  Perkasa right wing members towards MCA. It wasn’t much towards them but the message of “1Melayu,1Bumi campaign” and a warning that comes with the protests.

Millions of dollars were poured into the campaign of 1Malaysia and it seems at every corner we turn there is a “1 of this and 1 of that” It has caught on and PM is smiling that Malaysians have taken towards the 1 but will not be too happy when there are “warning overtones”

( this extracted from Malaysiakini-the group had handed MCA’s top leadership a four point warning”,

Its supposed to unite the country through cutting out the barriers of multi-racialism,multi-culturalism and multi- ethnicity but not breakup the harmonious and tolerancy towards each others race.

The sms we receive in particular has this,”What abt 1dayak? Or 1Sarawak? Very soon the Chinese will have 1Foochow or 1Hockien and Melanaus will also have theirs 1MukahMelanau,1MatuMelanau while dayaks might have 1BidayuhBau,1BidayuhSerian or even 1Iban Betong, 1Iban Kapit.

What will become of 1Malaysia?

It’s whithering right and directly under the noses of the Prime Minister Najib who is instrumental in making sure that this campaign will fit into every Malaysian life. It’s his campaign and surely he will not want it to be decimated.

I received another sms which says the Perkasa boys are like West Ham supporters ‘blowing bubbles” and hoping their team will not be relegated at the end of the season while 1Malaysia Najibs campaign will see Manchester United as Champions for the 19th time. So will you choose Perkasa’s overzealous promotion of utusan malaysia’s brand 1Melayu ,1bumi or Najibs 1Malaysia? WE choose winners right……

Let the newspapers fight their own wars and we as Malaysians should safeguard our national identity of A Multi racial country made up of different races, cultures, religions and where we lived harmoniously side by side in peace.

Malaysia is united and 1Malaysia is here to stay….

To most right-thinking Malaysians know who are causing racial tensions in the country if it is not the big mouth Ibarahim Ali of Perkasa.

In due to respect to Tun mahatir, they insist that the movement will go on after Mahatir left on 30 April after grand Perkasa Meet in Kedah.

Their consistent warnings to other races and uttering defamatory remarks without any action from Najib make them the most vocal group in playing racial games.

It’s pointless for Najib to spend 40 million per year to promote his superficial 1 Malaysia if more and more movement such 1 Melayu Movement are going to be organised with immunity from the country laws.

Continue voting BN and that’s what you get, LIES, LIES and MORE LIES! Let’s see whether BN a.k.a. UMNO can control PERKASA or will it be otherwise! Jom, undilah BN!

DAP said the statistics clearly show that the party’s successes in Sarawak could not have been achieved solely with the backing of Chinese voters. And DAP would not have won convincingly in six more seats without the support of non Chinese voters. So BN should stop insulting the intelligence of Urban voters or condemning Urban voters for being ungrateful because many of the Urban voters are educated , discerning Bumiputras and many also work in the civil service.

While you’re so worried about urban voters being insulted or condemned by BN, please also spare a thought about the rural voters that have been insulted and condemned by DAP supporters for being stupid enough to vote for BN. Luckily, they can’t read what’s being said about them because it’s mostly said online. They may not be as educated or received as many opportunities as you but they do know what their vote will bring them, as I imagine the voters in the urban areas also know what their vote will bring them, as well.

PERKASA and all right-wing organisations (or left-wing, for that matter) have no place in Sarawak. Sarawakians in general realise this is a Malaya problem and we count our blessings that we don’t have this problem here. We may not have come up with a name for it but the concept of “1Sarawak” has always existed among our people, and the key to our success so far is that we’ve managed to reject the extreme elements that try to enter into our midst.
