  1. Less than 10% of Chinese votes will go to BN. At best BN will capture less than 45% of Malays/Bumiputras votes. PKR will do credibly in wooing Malays?Bumiputras votes and should not have problem winning 60% of Chinese if DAP and supporters are solidly backing the party. It will be a close call.

  2. Taking advantage on the popularity of the late YB Edmund Chong by nominating his grieving widow will backfire on BN. Linda and her children should be allowed quiet moments and privacy for themselves to come to grip with the sudden demise of a wonderful husband and father. Politics should take a backseat for Linda and family. They have no obligation whatsoever to BN although the DPM had announced educational assistance for the late Edmund Chong’s children.

  5. baik jugak SAPP dberi peluang.

  7. PBS/BN will be punished by both the bumiputra supporters for fielding Linda Tsen and the Chinese supporters for fishing for sympathy votes instead of addressing the many real and pressing issues affecting the people of Sandakan.

Yong Teck Lee of SAPP will soon realise he is in no man land all by himself, fighting an obsolete single issue, “Sabahans For Sabah”. It will be the same as “UMNO For Malays”.

  8. More and more reasons why UMNO dominated BN must be replaced and kicked out in GE13. The PM thinks he can camouflage our national debts and deficits by misleading all Malaysians. He has totally forgotten that we are educated. His mischief has been exposed by the Auditor-General.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Malaysia’s national debt for 2009 rose to RM362.39 billion or 53.7 per cent of GDP, its highest level in five years, according to the Auditor-General’s report released today.

The Auditor-General said in the report that this was the first time the debt to GDP ratio had breached the 50 per cent mark.

This contrasts with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s reply in Parliament in June that Malaysia’s total debt had been reduced in 2009 to RM233.92 billion from RM236.18 billion in 2008.

Najib had also said that the debt to GDP ratio for 2009 was only 34.3 per cent, up from 31.9 per cent in 2008.

But today’s Auditor-General’s report said that the national debt had actually risen beyond what was announced by Najib, largely due to domestic debt.

“The debt ratio to GDP at the end of 2009 is 53.7 per cent, the highest level in five years and over 50 per cent for the very first time,” said the report.

  9. National issues will be also be on the radar screen in the Batu-Sapi by election. Among which will be Najib’s most irresponsible statement during the recent UMNO’s convention.

Economists and business leaders have expressed disappointment at Prime Minister Najib Razak’s vow to use all ways and means including ‘crushed bodies’ and ‘lost lives’ to retain control of the federal government.

They also slammed him for suggesting that it was possible for ethnic cleaning to take place in Malaysia if unnamed people in the country continued to question Malay supremacy.

“Malaysia must follow democratic process and constitutional rights. It should be a government by the people’s votes and choice and not by any other means especially ‘crushed bodies’. We should all work towards peace and prosperity and for our common well-being,” Dato Dr PHS Lim, president of the Malaysian Investors Association told Malaysia Chronicle.

    • Mukhriz Mahathir should point to the 80 plus percent drop in FDI on someone like Najib in his own camp (UMNO). Such negative assertion by UMNO leaders, past and present, always keep foreign investors at bay and has nothing to do with Opposition criticism of the BN government mismanagement and wastages.

  10. The imported Muslims from Indonesia and the Phillipines know very well they are safe because they have already been issued with Mycard and their children are now born Malaysian. Many do not give a shit about UMNO and do not feel obligated to BN.
