SUPP” Far From Over 2″

The phone rang very early and it was a very familiar ring tone. We immediatedly called back and on the other side was the SUPP Pemanca who we have not heard for a good six months. He has gone on a good tour to visit his sons in Australia and must have enjoyed himself tremendously. He said,”Breakfast young man and lets talk about my dear party.”

He bought me laksa and we sat down for a good chit chat. He reminded me to look up the previous article and reposts it to remind the SUPP boys. He started “EE LANG BEH HIAW TIA.PBB TO KONG SUPP SIANG BANG PARTY LOH.LANG KA WA KONG” {They will never listen.Even PBB say SUPP is already like a mosquito party.People tell me when I was still away}

He carried on and said,”If the party does not pull in new,calibre and a face well accepted by the constituency the party will still be where it is in Kuching. He said that he was well pleased to hear that the Cardiac Doctor Sim was earmarked and Pending will be a good battleground. Kota Sentosa it will take a herculean push by Alfred Yap to unseat Chong. There is also a possibilty that Chong might make way for his young protege Wong King Wei and if he does that it will be even harder to unseat DAP.

Chong it seems will go for the BN bastion of Batu Kawa. (Aboi A Chai Ho!) {Don’t know yet HO!} This might just be a wise move by Chong as on the ground he has done nothing much for the constituency of Kota Sentosa. Seems the defeated candidate Alfred Yap has put in more hours than his usual workload and he is slowly gaining more appraisals than condemnations.

 He is seen to be mixing freely and listening to his constituents more and once he told audie61,”Its hard work in an urban constituency. We must not take anything forgranted. When I was in Batu Kawa constituency it was very safe and work was concentrated in a few areas. Kota sentosa is a challenge but we will not just let DAP get away scot free.”

The Pemanca nodded and agreed that Yap has genuinely put in more efforts for SUPP to try to gain a foothold back for losts seats. It was his mistake to move and for a friend he paid dearly for it.

Padungan he said if its Lily again eventhough Dominique who is not well accepted to be a candidate might find his outing this time easier than expected. (PANG SIN LANG A TANG FIGHT) {Mixing Hockien as he gets aggitated-Put in a New Face there will be a good fight}

Voon Lee Shan if he is still in Batu lintang Sih Hua Tong {A KANG KOH TAMPO- O } {Will experience some difficulty} But with the right amount of comradeship ,proper and systematic machinery at his disposal might just win over the voters in Batu Lintang. Take this from an old Pemanca who is already nearly 80 years old.

I have gone away on a holiday for a good six months or more and George Chan also went to UK I heard and they was a gag order again. How ironic from my first interview with audie61 he said. SUPP if they dont play their cards right and get the necessary ammunition to move the machinery they will be in for a difficult outing and may end up like Gerakan in 308. George {A CHAI WAH GONG HA MI} George knows what I am talking about.

Lu tatio pang ki kah SUPP Kong .{Please put up to tell SUPP}

I was given my souvenir and he told me this thing will serve to knock some heads of SUPP if they dont listen well. YOU GUESS WHAT IT IS

Our earlier article:- SUPP”Far from Over” November 20th 2009

An SUPP Pemanca said to audie61,” What Gag orders ?? They are treating us like Kids. We have sweated and toiled for SUPP all these years and used all our own dollars and cents and they think we are still children.” Hmmm very strong words from one who has seen good times and difficult times with SUPP even through the opposition days.

Don’t ever for once take us lightly and it is us who are the main players in SUPP and not the Ministers,Assstant Ministers and those who think they can wield their influence. I’m absolutedly ashamed of the “DUDONG signboard fiasco and its a real slap in the face of veteran SUPP members. Even PRS at its height of infighting or UMNO Protem Signboard no one dared to take it down.

He went on and said,” .” This is not only about Team A or team B and if it spills over and sees that SUPP is in bad shapeIsn’t it a slap at one’s face as whoever directed it to take it down forgot to look at the mirror good he said. We will rise like a PHOENIX. The late President Stephan Yong would have put his foot down earlier and  George Chan should have stepped in so much faster and now its a little too late to repair the damages done. What would you give SUPP chances in the next state elections?

He even went on to say and remind Wong Soon koh how his uncle Wong Soon Kai had tears in his eyes when his nephew a headmaster decided to step into the world of politics. Has he forgotten what are his ideals when he joined SUPP? Does he need to be reminded?

audie61 was invited to sit down for this lunch date and it came as a surprise from someone who loves SUPP so much and today seeing his beloved party in such a shameless state and the direction it is taking is not a step forward but three steps backwards. Don’t you think that the younger set of voters has had enough of SUPP and they will surely turn to DAP to fight for their rights. SUPP is only interested in fighting their own wars and have really forgotten their REAL SENSE OF BEING POLITICIANS.

It must be noted that most people join politics to try to better their own environment and a better grasps of individualistic aspirations. There must be a love for the party ,instinct for political survival and a joy of working in that environment. These must not be detached or else the ideals and central principles of a political life is just ZERO. It seems most SUPP members are so enbroiled in protecting their own camps or castles that they have forgotten their real tasks at hand.

A compromise solution is good but there must be tabled to the whole SUPP members on the parties direction and its course of actions. No use to talk and next day they are all at each others throats again. Its just plain nonsensical and the elder and veteran SUPP members has had enough up to their necks and some got themeslves in deep holes going for second mortgages to keep SUPP afloat.Have they forgotten?

The Pemanca added ,”A lot of explaining is needed and those who are just so power hungry should just be reminded to have a browse through the party constitution and do not make a mockery of SUPP as a party. “

Did audie61 get himself in a tight situation? 25 years ago I signed on the dotted line to be a member on the shuttle flight between Singapore/KL  but I eventually ended up being very active  in the football arena  instead. Those days SUPP was the party for the people in Sarawak and many just love the thought of being a member of SUPP. Its a bit similar to the football scene even if one was being paid a $100 to watch Sarawak some would just take the $ but end up going to the movies.

SUPP is finding it hard to be the party people love and its all due to the leaders self interests and lacklustre attitude and completedly losing the plot of political ideals.

So the pages of Team A,Team B, Dudong branch fiasco will see a bitter end an a winner  takes all as it is a clear fact that Soon Koh has his eyes set on the Presidents Chair and so has David Teng. Will the SG Senator Sim be the spoiler and Peter Chin might just walked in put his hands on both the arm rests of the Presidents Chair.

Its far from over  in SUPP says the Pemanca and even George Chan has to think twice before he even dares to take my title away. Nothing is clear in politics and we will see more turmoils in SUPP before the ship steadies herself. Could this lunch meeting be the start of better things for SUPP and he just had a word for DAP Kota Sentosa assemblyman Chong “We are going to win back the seat and believe me and DAP will not know what hit them.” On one flip of a coin he suddenly sees a common enemy and has a go while his backyard the troubles are already at boiling point. The Pemanca ended by saying “For better or worse I am a SUPP member and this is my vow and its like a marriage vow.

  1. Good to know who are the real Pendatang… The Indians and Chinese were here way before the Malays … You have to start learning the correct history.

    An Institute of Nanyang Technological University

    A small piece of History for our future generation..Why Kota Gelanggi (lost city) touted as earliest civilization in Malay Peninsula news were banned as they were Buddhist.

    The Johor find of 2005 which was quietly dropped was none other than Kota Gelanggi lost city reflecting Srivijaya and its Buddhist splendour. But they deliberately disregarded it because that would have sidelined Malacca Empire and Islam which was smaller and came some 500 years later. I met Dr Lee Kam Hing, a former History prof at MU in Singapore recently at a seminar.Dr Lee, who is now Star research director, told me he was trying his best to highlight Kota Gelanggi, but that the govt killed it off. This is clearly another case to cover up the real history of Malaya and fool the younger generations into believing that our history only began from Malacca 1400.. Not only that, they try to show Parameswara as Malay and Muslim, but actually he was Hindu! If one were to condemn these XXXX on how they distort history, it will never end……the condemnations will more than cover 10 PhD thesis!

    A small piece of History for our future generation Hitler’s public relations manager, Goebbels, once said, ‘If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.’

    Once again our government wiped out any references to a famous Melaka prince as being Hindu and belonging to the powerful Hindu empire Sri Vijaya.So all of a sudden our museums, school text-books etc. all refer to Parameswara as a Malay prince.

    What race ruled or did not rule is besides the point. What is important is not butchering history to create your own truths. You cannot change your race even if you convert – Parameswara could have been responsible for XXXX proud heritage of ‘ Ketuanan Melayu ‘.

    If this is what it is based on, there is no ‘ Ketuanan Melayu ‘. The lineage of Melaka Sultans are Indians, not Malays.
    It is no secret that Parameswara was an Indian and a Hindu prince.

    It is clear from records that Parameswara never converted to Islam. He was an Indian Hindu who fled Palembang in Sumatra to eventually found Melaka circa 1400 AD. It was Sri Maharaja who converted himself and the court of Melaka to Islam, and as a result took on the name of Sultan Muhammad Shah sometime after 1435…

    The most famous of Indian Hindu Kings were Raja Chola and his son Rajendra Chola who invaded Southern Thailand, Kedah, Perak, Johor and Sumatra about 1000 AD. This is Raja-raja Chola – the Indian/Hindu kings and not Raja Chulan – a Malay king. But what is really sad is that our children are taught as though Malaysian history suddenly began in 1400 with an Islamic Melaka.

    We are led to believe that the Indians and Chinese first arrived on the shores of Malaysia in about 1850 as desperate indentured labourers, farmers and miners . Nothing could be further from the truth.

    The cultural influences of India in particular, and China, in South East Asia span over 2,000 years, starting with the arrival from India of the Brahmanical prince/scholar – Aji Saka in Java in AD78, through to Vietnam, Cambodia (Indo China), Thailand,Burma, Indonesia, Bali, Borneo, Brunei and beyond.

    The findings at Bujang Valley speak of an ancient Indian/Hindu presence in Kedah. There were Chinese settlements in Pahang and Kelantan around the 13th-14th century and in 12th century in Singapore .

    The early Brunei Sultanate had a Chinese Queen. One need not ponder at length the implications of Angkor Wat and Borobudur or that 40%-50% of Bahasa Malaysia comprises Sanskrit/Tamil words. To illustrate, some of these word are :

    bumi = boomi
    putra = putran
    raja = rajah
    desa = thesam
    syakti = sakthi
    kolam = kulam
    bahaya = abahya
    jaya = jeya
    maha = maha
    aneka = aneha
    nadi = naadi
    kedai = kadai
    mahligai = maaligai
    mantra = manthrum
    tandas = sandas
    (This list can go on)

    An extremely important archeological find that pointed to one of the greatest empires in history – the Raja Chola empire that ruled from the Maldives through India , Sri Lanka and right down to South East Asia found deep in the jungles of Johor a few years ago and made headlines in the mainstream newspapers in 2005, suddenly disappeared from the news…..

    The time has arrived for us to record our history as the facts tell us and not as we would like to wish it.

    The truth will never hurt anyone. Lies, always will .

    • How about Orang Asli?

      There’s some NatGeo tv programme said that early African nomads somehow came to IndoChina (Peninsular included), Papua, Australia all the way Oceania around 60,000 years ago.

      Look closely the curly hairs of Orang Asli, the Aborigines, the Papua native, Vanuatu islanders they are mostly similar.

      Hmmmm the first orginal settlers may in fact Orang Asli!

      So none of the above studied by NIE Singapore are considered as early settlers of the Peninsular, let alone to believe all the goofy stuffs by Perkasa.

      Long Live Orang Asli! Oh-Ui!

      • In short there is no Malay race until the British or Dutch created the term.Even an Indian who refused to be known as Indian, who married a Malayan woman and called himself Malay and subsequently become the PM. Now he is saying the Malays will lose power if Pakatan takes over Putrajaya. What he actually wants to say was UMNO will not be able to rule again for a long long time and Mukhriz’s dream of becoming the PM will be dashed.

  2. SUPP will end up like Gerakan in Penang after 2008 general election. Gerakan told Penengites that they needed Gerakan YBs in both state and federal government. Today it is two years the Pakatan coalition have been administering two of Malaysia’s most vibrant states, Selangor and Penang. Not only the Chinese have benefited and given more opportunities all races have enjoyed and benefited from the Pakatan new policies in cutting wastages, tackling corruption and doing away with red tapes, offering open tenders, serving the needs of the people from all strata of society.

  3. If SUPP is still talking of “fighting” for the needs and interest of Chinese and yet never dared to tell Taib Mahmud that he was getting too greedy and crazy for power,all races in Sarawak will reject SUPP for being coward, useless and a racist.

  4. SUPP you are full of shit!

    As for the monkeys out there responsible for the land grab of peoples’ land, no matter how you justify your actions, there will be a price in one form or another to pay. It may not be now but it will come!

    When the time comes, you can be sure that you will know of what you have done to the little people of Sarawak.

    A shroud has no pockets! Our time on earth is only temporary. It is easy to conveniently forget now, like so many Nazis did but it caught up with them like it will you sooner or later.

    It will come! It’s karma!

  5. The objective of SUPP has been and continues to be “to win back the seats that they have seated long but lost to the opposition” because they only interested in occupying the seats and not using the seats to serve the people regardless Chinese, Iban and so on in their constituencies. Apparently, to stay on seats is above all. Being a big component of the Sarawak BN governance, has it ever adviced, interfered or stopped any decision or policy by the big brother PBB (especially Taib) that is destroying the living of the Sarawak people in order to bring dirty wealth to all their cronies and their families. No and never, because the leaders would not dare to and those men have NO BALL to say anything in the DUN. So, the people have given enough time observing the performance of the party and have to say sorry and desert them hopelessly and helplessly. People do not want to be FOOLED for ever, they have given you the YELLOW light and are now giving the RED.

    George and team, you ask for it. Like in a marriage, all you have not been responsible and caring husband. You all have been selfish, sturbon and arrogant, all your wives have to desert and divorce you…and look for other men to trust and rely on. It applies to marriage, it applies to politic too.

    Too late, all are too late to salvage sinking SUPP.

  6. That Pemanca was absolutely right ,SUPP is not only a mosquito party but pathetic and useless.It has been irrelevant after the last election.Most leaders have been struggling for personal interests rather than serving and looking after the welfare of the rakayat.That why Taib say: I dont know what the chinese want ?”.

  7. And also the Dayak bidayuh uprising at SUPP seats DUN Bengoh and DUN Opar, hell lots of problem for SUPP nowadays, eh!

    Fantastic idea if DAP field their own Dayak bidayuh candidate in both Bengoh and Opar seats.

    Easily the historic first ever Dayak bidayuh DAP YB, in your face SUPP!

  8. This shall be the battle cry of all new voters in Malaysia. WE ARE MALAYSIAN and MALAYSIAN WE ARE ONLY!

    To make a good country, the rakyat must first be sure about their identity and be willing to sacrifice. I am Malaysian first, and there is no second. This is where I was born, and where my grave will be. I will be eligible to vote in the coming state election and GE13, and I will do my job as a responsible citizen in the next general election.

  9. Until today SUPP leaders have sidestepped all corruption issues related to Taib Mahmud and the blatant and rampant alienation of state lands and awards of big construction and infrastructure projects to Taib’s family and cronies companies.

    Hoping the Rayak will be pleased by showing their pictures in newspapers every other day, seemingly tackling long overdue issues like land matters, floods, chinese education,drainage and road maintenance, will not make the rakyat less supportive of Pakatan or DAP or earn extra votes for SUPP.

    There are still a few young leaders in SUPP who are capable of contributing to a just, equitable and prosperous Sarawak for all Sarawakians are unfortunately beholden to SUPP and staying put in the party for reasons known only to themselves.

    NOT only SUPP will be wiped out completely for contesting in majority urban seats, its partner in PBB, SPDP and PRS will likely lost half of their seats too in rural contituencies.

    Malaysians in Sarawak are ready for a change in government and shall not be intimidated and scared into submission again.

  10. Sarawakians demand that Petronas and or Federal pay the state government 25% petroleum royalty.

    Sarawakians demand that all timber concession companies pay 5% royalty to a Special indigenous Fund for rural development and 15 % royalty to the state government.

    Sarawakians demand a yearly contribution from the state government to all vernacular schools.

    Sarawakians demand Open Tender system for all supplies to government agencies and for all projects above RM1 million and that 30% of class F licence allocated to non bumiputra companies.

    Sarawakians demand that the state government be competent, accountable and transparent in admistering the state.

    Sarawakians demand that all federal agencies in Sarawak be headed by a qualified and competent Sarawakian regardless of race.

    Sarawakians demand that the ministry of resource planning and finace must not be held by the Chief Minister himself.

    Sarawakians demand that a chief minister be allowed to serve for only two terms. Hence the current chief minister who overstayed his welcome must step down after dissolving the DUN to prepare for next state election.

    Sarawakians4Change. Vote for Change.

    • Excellent Lee Hui, I wish to add a few more..

      Sarawakians demand that the state government come clean on its Urban Renewal Policy and stop acquiring privately owned land for the benefit of big corporation under the pretext of JV with government agencies. One such development is the Bako Coastal development.

      Sarawakians demand that 1,200 Chinese educated teachers be trained and deployed in all Chinese schools within the next 3 years.

      Sarawakians demand that Sarawak Land code be amended to allow automatic renewal of all categories of land lease and that lands placed under section 47 be released after 3 years if no longer needed for public purposes.

      Sarawakians demand that all state cabinet ministers declare their personal and family assets to DUN within six months after their swearing in.

  11. SUPP is OVER ! SUPP has not changed and reformed at all and even 50 percent new faces in the coming state election will not offer new hope to the party to regain its lost seats and will not change the rakyat’s resolve to remove Taib Mahmud as CM of Sarawak and subject him to investigation for corruptions and abuse of power. SUPP just have to face the reality that 80% of the voters do not trust SUPP and a BN government led by Taib Mahmud any more. All the piece meals projects and initiatives announced as a preclude to the state election will not win more votes for BN. The Dayaks in general have awaken and will not be intimidated by any quarters. Together with the urban voters the rural voters will show Taib Mahmud and UMNO led BN government who are the real masters.

  12. A call to some useful young blood and conscious leaders and members of SUPP:

    Do you hang on to believe in your Chairman Mr. George and all his so called new strategies and plans to salvale, recover and rehabilate SUPP?

    Do you not think that your time has been wasted in SUPP and bullied by BN Big Brothers? Now that SUPP is mosquito in the eyes of PBB and PRS, how do you feel morally and spiritually?

    Go find new boats before SUPP sinks to the bottom of Sarawak River….Your talent, commitment and sincerity are the most valuable package for a better Sarawak. Time and age is going away faster than we realize it (only Taib thinking he is 19 years old)…

  13. A cohesive and well coordinated election campaign by Pakatan, leaving no stones unturned, can lead to Pakatan capturing 45 state seats albeit some seats with small majority.

  14. Repairing roads, surveying NCR land and bringing developments to the people both in urban and rural constituencies are the duty of the government. It is so pathetic that many of BN YBs especially from the useless party SUPP were clamouring to have their photos published especially in the Borneo Post when making announcement or visiting some project sites. But very often ,after making headlines, these so-called projects will be stuck for several more years and revive just before another election. UMNO led BN are full of bullshits, lies and deceits.
