DAP Chong “Accelerated Too fast”

The last twenty four hours in Sarawak has seen the arrival of Najib in Miri but that has caught the imagination for only the Miri people in particular his visit to Long Banga in Ulu Baram. The PM is on a two days working visit.

However throughout Sarawak the article which appeared in Sarawak Tribune Project 71 on Voon Lee Shan DAP Assemblyman for Batu Lintang has created a huge wave and had many talking in all the political corridors big or small. Voon in own words said when questioned in the exclusive interview,” When the chief Minister finally steps down, who will be a capable replacement? He answered there is still no one capable of replacing Pehin Seri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud. Who will be able to lead the State Barisan National? Taib is still the only leader capable of leading the PBB(Parti Pesaka Bersatu Bumiputra Sarawak)

In the Borneo Posts and Tribune today Chong said in praising the Chief Minister in an article in New Sarawak Tribune yesterday, said it was Voon’s personal opinion and not the party’s.

The Borneo Posts highlighted it today as “Voons statement is according to his observation.it is his personal opinion. He may think very highly of Taib. But it is not DAP’s stand. We dont share the same opinion as Voon and we think it is high time he is replaced.

A political analysts said that “Voon is very witty and he did not waver from the question and for Chong to pull the trigger on one of his own eventhough he is suspended is not very or too  clever.”

Chong has lighted the fire and the damage control on DAP is his to repair. The Justice Bao as Voon was headlined in the Tribune has struck back and Chong needs to lower his gears especially when it will affect the party where the people can just choose who they want.

Did Chong Accelerated Too Fast..??

In a mature democracy everyone in both political divies is entitled to his/her own personal political opinion. YB Voon of the DAP could be right to say that nobody within PBB at the moment who can replace Taib to lead PBB. YB Chong is also right to reiterate that Voon is speaking in his own personal capacity and does not represent the view of the party althogh Voon statement could be rightly or wrongly interpreted as speaking highly of Taib. Again the public has the right to perceive whatever statements reported in the media. I will not read too much into such triviality.

Pakatan supporters and all Sarawakians should and must stay focus and be committed in their responsibility to vote for a government which will practise good governance, accountability and transparency.

For that we should be voting out UMNO controlled BN government and Taib Mahmud. make no mistake about that. Vote out UMNO controlled BN and Taib and vote for Pakatan.

Or VLS purposely praises Taib so that some things good coming for him in the next election. Hope this is not true of the case for a man with political principle and stance. One thing he might be correct is that till now there is not even “an ant” tought to be qualified to replace Taib (Taib also thinks very much so)…or at least PBB have to creat such a feeling and thinking that Taib is not to be replaced. Well, lets hope this is not a great issue between VLS and DAP Sarawak. In politic, people are fast to interpret other’s saying in their assumption…Another true fact is Taib is willing to reign Sarawak as long as he cantill he is called…

Politic is maturing in Malaysia and Malaysians are also more informed. NO issues at all on the media reporting.

Honestly, what is so capable about taib? An honest and clean person who truly act in the interest of the state and the people of this state would have done way better!

After nearly 30 years, there are still so many hard core poor in sarawak and uneducated people! Whats so capable about that? He has failed the state and the people whilst he grows filthy rich at the expense of the people of sarawak!

Taib is capable only with regards to hodling on to power for self serving purposes.

That’s not capable with regards to nation building!

Voters are more mature definitely and more informed about socio-economic and political events in our sickly country under the rule of BN. Such news do not sell at all. Not worth my 2 sen coin.

Pakatan supporters and friends of Pakatan, keep working hard to remind one another of the need to vote out BN and vote for Pakatan. Bring the wind of chnage to the heartland of Borneo. Getting the innocent students to shout “1Malaysia” when receiving election goodies will not bring the much needed reforms expected of BN government.

Say YES to Change. Say YES to Pakatan Rakyat.
