Taibs Successor…”Hold On”..State Elections 1st!!

Brunch” this morning with various party members threw up yet the subject “Succession to CM Taibs throne” As early as 1994 this subject which has interested the party members still remains a mystery even  though the PBB Convention has just concluded on the 5th of March 2010.

Taib will not be drawn into rumours of personalities being groomed for take-over but instead he will look forward to leading a team of dedicated, disciplined and united PBB together with the other BN coalition partners in going fr a FRESH MANDATE  from the rakyat. The succession speculations can be left to another day which Taib  has held it close to his chests.

There has been many reports on WHO and WHEN he hands over the baton says a party member who wishes to stay anonymous from the northern region. The guessing game does not augur well as there seems to be an alignment of various leaders as they look forward to the day Taib calls it a day.

The main political reason,’They fear that they will be LEFT OUT COMPLETEDLY. He pointed out an article which was posted in Bintulu.org some time ago. audie61 checked it out and we have the posts below.

What is Taib Mahmud, Melanau Muslim strongman and Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) president Samy Vellu has in common? In one word ‘long‘.

Tan Sri Taib Mahmud was appointed Sarawak chief minister in 1981. Thus he has been in power for the past 28 years and counting.”My position as PBB president is for the party members to decide and I am leaving it to them to decide. I have openly said I am ever willing to step down as president any time now but party interest has the final say,” Taib said  in Betong.

Last month MIC’s supremo Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu announced that he will only step down in 2015.

“No one should doubt that he will keep his word. This means, wait for it… by 2015, Samy Vellu would be the winner of the “longest” time in power.”

“He was elected president of MIC in 1979 and by 2015, he would have held the MIC presidency for 36 years!!!”, says Prof James Chin an expert in Sarawak politics.

The State Elections will be called very soon as in two months time the present STATE Government will go into its fourth term. Taib has until July 2011 to go for a FRESH Mandate and its up to him to have the INSPIRATION to pick the dates.

  2. apaijabu says:

Taib is not dead yet so why talk about succession? You know it’s not going to happen unless he kicked the bucket. Unless you guys know something that we don’t eh?

  3. Incredible says:

Whoever become CM or PM. be it pakatan or BN.. They will still put $$$ in their pocket somehow…Afterall, we are not angels…

  4. kangtao says:

You take, you share, that’s common la, but don’t take too much and don’t share, that’s daylight robbery which unfortunately made legal by the same bunch!

  5. kangtao says:

When you have taken too much, it spills over and becomes smelly like when you fry Kangkong with belacan, the aroma turns disgusting!
This is what is happening in Sarawak. Time we change and head for a new era, a new beginning. But it requires YOUR VOTE!!!!!

Dirty and money politics really makes all politicians more and more greedy until they forget to step down for younger generations to lead as they have lost their conscious mind and soul as well..

i think it is better both of them to step down…give other people to rule the country/ party..i not gonna say that the new “GUY” will be better than the old 1 but at least they willing to do improvement…….

For as long as his son is out of the equation which he shall be for good, there shall be no succession. Somehow someday he will be found cold and dead without any succession plan and without saying goodbye and all hells will break loose with PBB and BN Sarawak.

PR must start campaigning and working on the ground now and work harder than ever before especially in the most unaccessible remote areas. It is undoubtedly many of these areas are turning grey with urban and suburban areas already black.

Batang Ai which has seen their folks been cheated yet again in the last bi-election will fall and Betong is no longer safe. PBB will have lots of post-mortem to do after this coming state election. Those of us who felt guilty for not making BN lost its grip at Putra Jaya shall make no mistake this time and lay the foundation for PR to take over Putra Jaya by defeating Taib and BN Sarawak this election.

    To: Chua Soi Lek
    From: Yeoh Leei Eng Hock
Agenda: Please bring MCA to Sarawak to save the good people from organised chinese criminals.
Subject: Ever since there were Chinese people on this earth there were gangsters who enforce their rules by an iron fist in the criminal business world. They made their fortunes from prostituition, gambling, illegal 4 Digits, loan sharking, smuggling, psychotropic drugs and others.By and large they do not touch the law abiding common people.
In Sarawak it is totally different. They collect one ringgit frpm every tray of egg that the people consumed. They collected 50 cents from every gas tank that the populace used in their house. The victims can be a single mother with five kids or a poor mountain man.The gangsters do not show any mercy. All the old homeless people collecting scraps from the dustbins have to sell their materials to these gangsters at half price. If any of these people shows any resistence molotov cocktails would be thrown at either their million dollar house or card board shacks. They show no fear, favor or mercy to anybody other than their own big bosses.
I have been to chinatowns around the world. There is no group of chinese gangsters that terrorise their own people in the same ways.
Only a evil chinese emperor will tax their own chinese population in those methods. We, Chinese in Sarawak are in the hands of an evil chineses.
    Come and save us.,

Criminal intimidation of any nature and by any group or individual must be nibbed at its bud. Obviously the police are not doing a good job or either they are been controlled by a third or fourth force because they have accepted corruption money before.

I have read two newspaper reports of a few out of so many illegal 4d numbers betting shops associated with Telelink been raided and supposedly sealed up by police but only to see these illegal outlets opening again after a few days.

Why does the police bother to showcase a few raids now and then knowing full well that the public who are monitoring their job and performance are not stupid as they think.

The police force in Malaysia is obviously wasting taxpayers money and abusing its authority by working in cohort with UMNO led government to antagonise and harass Pakatan lawmakers and ministers. They should be totally professional and go after criminals and ensuring our streets are safe. There are so many incidents of extortion and snatch thieves along the Kuching waterfront vicinity where there is a permanent police pondok which has been oblivious to the crimes committed in the area.

There are so many so called associations which have been formed to supposedly help members of certain trade to improve their business but instead these associations are often controlled by a certain few people with vested interests and who are self serving. It is high time these association members armed themselves with parangs and defend themselves from organised traides who have been terrorising them.
