( Joseph BBC1-Any dream will do Astro Channel 713 Sundays) Scott Matthewman wrote-we’re on to the loincloths. None of the boys look bad without their clothes — one or two look very good indeed, although I think I’d better keep my opinions to myself on that score)
The following below were posted by audie 61 on July 28th and we thought that this very sensitive issue should be put to rests. We also wrote an article on July 27th https://audie61.wordpress.com/2009/07/27/cawat-issue-stay-clear-wanitas/ to try to bring some senses and maturity to the highly volatile and sensitive issue.
A very good friend of mine let’s just called him Azman telephoned me from Semanjung Malaysia this morning and told me about a blogsite which is very instigative in nature and trying to pour oil in the already burning fire. He was not amused as his PAS friends took offence.
The observations from the writer in the blog,’Borneo-Warrior” in his observation was,”1. Pas supporters also worn the cawat during the Manek by-election. Instead of wearing the cawat in the pelvic area (as the so-called natives in Sarawak do), they wore the cawat in their heads.( cawat in their heads please, my friend he said and can you please tell him )
We know two wrongs don’t make a right and we have said our part by virtue these updates to our article:-
Updated 28th July :- Sms sent to Secretary General of PRS– Wilfred Nissom.Thank God and Glad there is no burning of PAS Flags. We are better than that.( A flag is revered symbol and burning it is profoundly offensive gesture towards the country/party/institution-Wikipedia)
Updated 28th July 9.30am- Headlines “Gathering to burn PAS flags put off, says PRS man. The full story can be seen in Todays Borneo Post Article page 12. Was this our timely intervention with our article and thus someone politically connected with the Prime Minister’s department raised the ALARM BELLS. Thank God or else all Hell would have broken loose.
We also know according to the blog that Politics is about twisting, carrying on..and on.. but this issue is more than that as it will aggravate it into a RACIAL ISSUE. DO we need that..??
We say as always,”There are many ways to generate political mileage and also playing politics but further aggravation of race, culture.colour, religion and sensitive issues shold be dealt accordingly with the right way and methods.
Great Picture ! Absolutely adore this programme. As for the sensitiveness there must be a STOP somewhere.
Suddenly it seems Sarawak is the focal point,Rulers conference and also ‘CAWAT” issue. Tomorrow i am attending the ISA rally any takers on just wearing you know…hmm
Sensitive lah Borneo Warrior. The less said the better even its your observation. Dont start a racial slur and worse case scenario “Racial hatred”
I detests those who play racial undertones to get ahead in politics. I do not even respect such people. The authorities concern should look into this blog and bring the person up for questioning.Maybe they wouldn’t as he is PRO-BN..??
Time to put a full stop to this “cawat” issue.
