The Chronicles of “N” in Perak

One must have seen or at least read the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S.Lewis in which present the adventures of children who play central roles in the unfolding history of the fictional realm of Narnia, a place where animals talk, magic is common, and good battles evil.

In todays Perak crisis in which Malaysiakini has the full report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/97619 Sultan Azlan Shah has decided there will no dissolution of the Perak state assembly. He told Mohd Nizar to step down as MB to pave way for power transfer to BN.

Yesterday we waited for the decision and the report was ,” This Malaysiakini report  http://www1.malaysiakini.com/news/97607  headlines Perak turmoil:Sultan has the final say in which it had.” Following Barisan Nasional’s announcement that it has the necessary members in the state assembly to form government, the ball is now in Sultan Azlan Shah’s court to put an end to the ongoing political turmoil in Perak.

It was going to be a tough day for many Pakatan members to accept and of course even as we report there are many versions to the whole saga. There is also the talk of a ‘constitutional crisis is brewing” http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/97688.

In this light hearted report we hope to diffuse the tensions and stress all round, one has to see the similarities to the Chronicles of Narnia to the Perak saga in the Lion,Witch and Wardrobe and it tells the story of four ordinary children: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie. The 4 in this Perak crisis are Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi,Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu, Hee Yit Fong and Nasarudin Hashim.

Besides Nasaruddin being the main player,Nizar and Najib conveniently fits in together with the Kingmaker Azlan. Sultan Azlan has already said no to the dissolution to Nizar and No to Snap polls to Najib and Nasaruddin was the  Oh No! Trojan Virus. Exactly 11 days it took him to turnaround and see to the end of the Pakatan Government in Perak. So the “N” Nizar,Nasaruddin,Najib and we would say too no,no,no has been settled by Sultan Azlan with NO TO DISSOLUTION.

In the fantasy story of Narnia the four children fulfill an ancient, mysterious prophecy while in Narnia. The Pevensie children help Aslan (Aslan is the Turkish word for lion) and his army save Narnia from the evil White Witch, who has reigned over the kingdom of Narnia in winter for 100 years.

In the chronicles of the ‘N” in Perak, Nizar remains defiant and refused to resign on the orders of Sultan Azlan Shah, describing the situation as a coup by Barisan Nasional, while the Umno-led coalition prepares to be sworn in as the new government. He said the Sultan had asked him to resign, and he told the ruler he would not.

They always say a day in politics is very torturous and a long time and will 3pm tomorrow end the whole saga. It seems many in the Pakatan fold in Perak will remember the witch in this whole episode. The chronicles of “N” in Perak is not meant to defame or belittle anyone but its just so coincidental. You draw your own conclusions and lets just hope for an end in this Perak crisis.
