My first reactions were ,”Finally the local Sarawak government has given bloggers FRONT PAGE NEWS” Not too long ago a number of BN Assemblyman did not even bother to check what is happening in the blogsphere but now the trend is changing as the new voters are are mostly young and intellectuals and the hunger and accessibilty to alternative news means they want to know “WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEIR SURROUNDINGS POLITICALLY”

Malaysiakini TV had Beginda Minda (former PRS Baleh Publicity Chief) who is now a PKR member speaking in this exclusive report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/92289 in which he spoke “On the matter of Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Salcra) which maintains land development and social-economic wealth of the state, Beginda said: “Salcra could do a much better job but it is not doing that.

Today Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu has hit out in this local tabloid that bloggers whom he accused of discrediting him and SALCRA. He said the state government recognised Salcra’s efforts in improving the livelihood of rural people, but the critics chose to instigate the people to go against it and hamper its efforts by abusing and misusing the internet.

They blog every day and night but they have done nothing for the people. They only TALK” he said without getting into specifics such as bloggers names(or pseudonyms) website adresses, and actual quotes from any of the blogs.

As soon as he landed back at Kuching International Airport PKR spokesman Beginda Minda gave a call to audie 61 at 3.35pm and said that  what is $3.72 for the dayaks that Jabu is saying. We asked him how he derived at that and he went on to say Salcra started in 1976 and it has benefitted 14000 people and paid out about RM20 million  in dividends to landowners whose land it developed into oil palm plantations. Is this meagre $$ enough to help the dayaks.

Its high time he STEPS DOWN referring to Jabu and we are not JEALOUS of him says Beginda. He went on to say that Others are not given the chance to RUN SALCRA and who knows the person can generate maybe 200 million. Salcra will obviously improve further. My message is still very simple,”Step down before you are replaced.Bagi, bagi ,bagi chance untuk orang lain”

The state BN must take notice of the large turnout of the young Dayak Intellectuals at the party’s annual congress in Shah Alam on November 29th,as well as the slight drop in Malay support in percentage of the state BN is an indication PKR has made substancial inroads into the state. The word is now to deny 2/3rds majority for the Sarawak state BN government something.DAP used to harp on in the early 80s’Let us have one rocket in the State house. Today they have 6 while PKR has 2.

What lies ahead must be a stormy and turbulent times for the BN component parties but many poltical analysts says Sarawak BN will still form the State Government of the day. Its a tough call for the Pakatan group to wrestle this state BUT we know NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. After all the voters are the MASTERS of CHANGE………

KT-Anwar vs Najib (PMs in Waiting)

Say what you like, write whatever you want, the fact remains this upcoming Kuala Terengganu will see the battle of PMs in waiting. This Malaysiakini report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/94500 headlined “All eyes on Battle of KT'” in which Political pundits view the upcoming Kuala Terengganu by-election as crucial in determining the current and future support for both Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat.

Or is it that simple.? The underlying currents has it that Badawi has already packed it in and is ready even to move from his official residence of Seri Perdana and move into a kampung-style house in Sungai Penchala, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur after his retirement. Its obviously Najibs call now and he has to prove it by retaining KT or else it will be another BLOT in his Credentials.

Anwar will do well to make inroads with the Pakatan machinery as Permatang Pauh was the “mother of all battles” and it was also Anwars and PKRs stronghold. KT will see BN taking on PAS in a straight fight provided that AKim (Angkatan Keadilan Insan Malaysia) as it was reported will also field a candidate in the upcoming Kuala Terengganu by-election.

In this Malaysiakini report,”PKR information chief Tian Chua said that the opposition will adopt “a sophisticated way of campaigning” which would be based on a multiracial platform. On another note an UMNO committee member who did not wish to be identified, denied that they was any internal bickering within UMNO Terengganu and this notion is only politicised by the opposition. Even PAS party secretary-general Kamaruddin Jaafar said internal squabbles are a normal phenomenon in any political party, “I would be lying if I said there is no struggle between the moderates and conservatives.

Its all up to the Two men in question (Najib and Anwar) work out how their coalition work out their stategies and win this by elections. After all whatever elections manifestoes or election tactics the parties used its up to the Voters to Vote for the candidate of their choice to represent them in Parliament. It must be noted that the ruling coalition won in 1986,1990,2004 and 2008 while the opposition in Semangat 46 won it in 1995 and PAS won in 1999. It is not a safe seat for any party as it has changed hands a few times. The Voters will have the FINAL SAY as in any elections………
