“HABIS WAYANG”-WHATS NEXT…? ~ Malaysiakini

Like a ‘Blink of an Eye” there would not be any more indecision from the anointed one by Mahathir and Abdullah come March. This Malaysiakini report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/90926 which under the power transition plan agreed between Abdullah and his deputy Najib, the latter will take over as soon as Abdullah steps down, which will then give way for the deputy president post to be contested .
Its on everyones lips. Bugi Wijaya is in Tawau and the the topic during breakfast this morning was no different.Front page news in all the local dailies “The news of PM Pak Lah not contesting the UMNO President post in the coming March 2009 congress”.  “Habis wayang”, exclaimed the laksa stall owner joining in our conversation. He meant its game over for those from PM critics to DSAI Pakatan Alliances.  Now they would have to find a  new punching bag.
So the song by Skeeter Davis titled “End Of The World” sums it all up for those who are now left with no more punching bag to vent off their frustrations…………..
This song is for you folks out there now. looking, aiming for a new target, so while waiting to get a new life enjoy the song……
Why does the sun go on shining
Why does the sea rush to shore
Don’t they know it’s the end of the world
‘Cause you don’t love me any more

Why do the birds go on singing
Why do the stars glow above
Don’t they know it’s the end of the world
It ended when I lost your love

I wake up in the morning and I wonder
Why everything’s the same as it was
I can’t understand, no, I can’t understand
How life goes on the way it does

Why does my heart go on beating
Why do these eyes of mine cry
Don’t they know it’s the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye

Why does my heart go on beating
Why do these eyes of mine cry
Don’t they know it’s the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye

As the Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sarawak Abdul Karim Hamzah puts it this morning,” I really look up to Pak Lah for what he has done for the country.Under him we have LIBERALISATION and efforts to eradicate CORRUPTION and TRANSPARENCY in government. So he said NEXT..we hope that the new leadership will continue with what has been introduced by PAK LAH.
In another news report from our audie 61 corresondent in Sabah ‘Cindy Basilan”
Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Hj Aman had asked all quarters to stop questioning his decision to retain SAPP Independent BN, Datuk Raymond Tan as his deputy and state Infrastructure Minister. This was in response to the WAR OF THE WORDS between MCA, PBS, LDP and even his former science advisor Datuk Tham Nyip Shen which was spiralling into the WAR OF THE POSITION.
The road ahead is also not rosy for Datuk Raymond Tan.  In the event he form a new political party, its unlikely to be admitted into BN as LDP and PBS had said that there is no need for a new party and those who left SAPP should just join another component as long as they subcribe to the BN beliefs.  MCA had openly demanded to be the CHOSEN one to replace him.
SAPP will have their EXCO meeting on the 12 October 2008 at the party HQ before their Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations at the Dewan Kg. Unggun, Menggatal, Sepangar, KK.  Whatever decision made on the fate of Tan will only be known after the SAPP supreme council meeting to be held on 25 October 2008.
Meanwhile, a lot of people are asking what happen to political secretary to the Chief Minister Jimmy Wong.  Why had he not quit his political appointed post since he had quit SAPP.  A Dr. Wong said that Jimmy was Datuk Seri Musa Hj Aman accountant in the early days and had been a faithful employee of CM in building up his business prior to joining politics. This is the basic reason why Musa did not replace Jimmy Wong.
Even so, as a matter of principle Jimmy Wong should have quit his political secretary post like the rest who resigned their post when they quit SAPP.  Some say he is needed to be the one rounding up members to quit SAPP to join the new party of Tan.
Is it true?  Like CSI series, we wait for the next episode of Macam macam Ada in Sabah.

  1. sarawak says:

Bagaimana Seorang Pembunuh Altantuya Boleh Jadi PM??Mungkin Lepas ini pembunuhan dibenarkan di Malaysia.Seseorang yang ada kes dan rasuah tidak patut jadi PM

  2. alrawa says:

It was during Pak Lah’s time that Malaysians were given breathing space as far as ‘thinking aloud ‘ is concern. For this, and this alone, I salute Pak Lah.
Another trait in Pak Lah’s leadership that is worth mentioning is there were no tears shed when he gave up ‘power’ unlike the other FELLA.
