Zaid,”What a Wonderful World” ~ Malaysiakini

It was breaking news that Malaysiakini portal report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/89728 carried that Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim has tendered his resignation at 2pm. However the resignation letter was not accepted by the Prime minister. It is learnt that PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi urged Zaid to stay on and continue with the judicial reforms and also advised him to take two weeks’ leave to re-consider his resignation during their 30 minute meeting at Seri Perdana today.

Zaid to us you have made your point and we hope that this song will accompany you while you take leave.

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see em bloom, for me and for you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue, clouds of white
Bright blessed days, dark sacred nights
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

The colors of a rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin, i love you.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
Theyll learn much more than Ill never know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colors of a rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are there on the faces, of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin… I love you.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
you know their gonna learn
A whole lot more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

Zaid,”Calm before the Storm” ~ Malaysiakini

Usually they say there it’s all too “QUIET” on the Western Front or  “Calm before the storm”. When word reached me that Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim has tendered his resignation I said it cannot be. How could he.? That’s a very drastic step to take and the message is very clear. My fears were realised as I saw the Malaysiakini breaking news report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/89728  which says,”De facto Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim has tendered his resignation over the government’s use of the Internal Security Act, which allows detention without trial.”

Just then another sms arrived from my friend in KL saying that what Sarawak CM Taib said was very true. He said BN situation in KL very worrying in one of the local dailies which he had read online. My friend who is a dentist said which is just his opinion,” He must have sensed it or have been well informed.”

The day before 916 this happens. What can we expect in the next couple of days. MALAYSIABOLEHLAND script is getting more tastier and giving us more intriques. The coke slogan “IT’S THE REAL THING” is at our doorstep. Pakatan and BN will be at each other’s throats. We will just have our popcorns and start occupying our seats……..
