I’m Coming..”Perpaduan Melalui Kebudayaan”-Sarawak

PM in Kelantan said there would be more incentives for the people”Tax Rebates.” I want to move on,we should move on, the country needs to be back on track with our human capacity policies and we need to make sure that no one is left behind in mainstream development. Obviously looking more relax and relieved after a tumultuous week with the oil hike, the threat of BN defections and the on going calls for him to step down. Yesterday Najib put the “icing on the cake” In London and said that he will not challenge Abdullah for the UMNO Presidency scheduled to be held from 16 tho 20th December 2008.

What’s more…? Malaysiakini carried a breakingnews report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/84432  on his No.2 has “agreed on the succession plan.” Abdullah was all smiles as he raised the issue of people having second doubts about their relationship. We have no problems and we have a good working abdullah ahmad badawi election annoucement 130208 seriousrelations. The leadership change will take place at the right time and this was in direct response to Najibs “True Party Man” spirit. The signals are looking positive for Abdulah and he will visit Sarawak on Saturday for “National Gawai Open House 2008” with new renewed enthusiasm and his “Customary Pak Lah Smiles”

This event is also being held  as a prelude to the 45th anniversary of Sarawak in Malaysia celebration  from July 22 until July 21 2009. The PM will be accompanied by his wife Jeanne,Minister of Unity,Culture Arts and Heritage Shafie Apdal and other Federal ministers.

How appropriate for Abdullah to mention “disappointment terminology should not be in the warriors dictionary.” as he heads for the State where the rallying cries in most sporting events are “Agi Hidup Agi Ngelaban” meaning “If I still live I’ll fight” PM is fighting back at all the detractors and he has set his mind to work hard for the country, party and the people. He added that the present BN government must think of the majority support for BN and this majority wants them to soldier on. An UMNO party member was quick to point out that the tide has changed back in favour towards PM. Would you have given Abdullah any chance at all to come out of all this………..?

Friday 13th “In Sabah?..In KL”..!!

Friday The 13th  usually has everyones heart pumping faster and hoping that no untoward actions happens as it is a very superstitious day. In Sabah though MP (Sepanggar) Majimbun and MP( Tawau) Datuk Chua Soon Bui both of SAPP were subjected to “hot topics”in the conversations of joining PKR so says Bugi Wijaya ( see report.)
A phone call was made to Jeffrey who is also Sabah PKR deputy chief and he said that nothing will happen yet but he only spoke on the upcoming 21st June “Kaamatan Closing” programme in Tuaran to be attended by Anwar.

Meanwhile in KL today saw about 2000 people attempting to march from Kampung Baru mosque after Friday prayers to the iconic Twin Towers to protest against last week’s sharp rise in petrol prices. . Did it work…?  Apparently the  police thwarted their attempt by blocking Jalan Raja Abdullah – the main road leading to the crowd’s destination – Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), about 3km away. The full coverage of todays events are reported by the ( Malaysiakini ) team that was present. http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/84420.

I went to the HQ of SAPP and I could’nt help wondering on the sudden appearance of the SAPP Mobile Service Caravan which is parked there.  Normally it is seen at the weekly mobile services in the various places for their elected representatives mobile service centre.t was last seen at the SAPP HQ during the last general elections and as a matter of fact, it is parked there during every general elections. You can see their video clip in you tube sapp tv “WE ARE READY PART 1”

Is this a signal that there is some political happening in the immediate pipeline?  When asked a senior leader just remarked that anything can happen. Changes can be at any moment. We must be prepared for anything.
It is noted that the Progressive Institute Public Policy Analysis (PIPPA) a think-tank of SAPP has organized a talk topic “ECONOMY IN JEOPARDY?” at the Sabah Trade Centre in Likas on 14 June 2008 from 9am to 12.30 noon.  PIPPA is headed by Datuk Tham Nyip Shen a former Deputy  Chief Minister and Deputy President of SAPP, who has been very vocal in recent time. It must also be noted that SAPP has been under the eagle eye of the BN as there has been one too many “outbursts of emotions” from the party leaders. Will there be any announcement from the Talk tomorrow…? Please read this article to:- https://audie61.wordpress.com/2008/06/08/crossoverwe-shall-see-and-lets-waitsept-16th/

A political party member of PBS says that all this defections will only happen if Sarawak shows the way..! Why….? It was because when PBS joined Tengku Razaleigh, Sarawak was supposed to follow suit but they decided otherwise.Sabahs legislators has grown more matured it seems together with Sarawak and Anwar might just be “outfoxed“…!!   Anwars defections ,”sounds good, looks good but nothing comes out of it.” says a Liberal party member from Sabah.

UPKO President Bernard Dompok is very happy and he says PM “Cares for Sabah” and the  PMs allocations on his recent visit to Sabah is a testimony. For now BN can sleep very well and PM can continue with his human capital policies and mainstream rural development.
