Interesting Development but which was  Quashed  immediately by the UMB SPDP is that the Director of Operations for Baram is YB Sylvester Entri of BN Club while Tiki Laffe of BN Club is contesting as Independant in Mas Gading. Baram candidate Anyi Ngau is heading the operations with his election team.

The rumour is as malicious as it gets as this will disrupt the unity of SPDP going into the elections. Rumours also of Jelaing Mersat and Jacob Sagan (former deputy ministers and vice presidents of the party) standing was unfounded on nomination day.

Working Together in Baram Constituency

The message is very clear as audie61 and crew sat down with Jacob Sagan Senior Vice President and Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry at his home today.

These are his words,”We have to settle all our differences,we have a common enemy, this is a winnable seat”

Many will say we are polishing him up for the sake of the party to win the seat. Why not? Why shouldn’t we? He is afterall our SVP of the party and a loss in this constituency will affect the party badly. The party have named him and chosen him to defend the seat and we need to be realistic about his chances and see a solution to all the accusations, allegations and defamatory statements hurled towards him and his family.

You and I know that facts and statistics dont lie and if you Jacob Sagan sorry is not a working MP would the following be uploaded here:-( We would also join forces to pull him down. That we will do and Jacob knows that.. )

Total Voters: 24,425 Race Percentage: M: 6% C: 11% I: % B/Sab: % B/Swk: 83% L: %
1. Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan (BN) (7,996) 2. Kebing Wan (Bebas) (3,952)
Majority: 4,044 Total Votes: 12,115 Percentage of voters: 49.6% Spoilt Votes: 167
Incumbent: Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan (BN) (Majority: 3,310 undi)

Furthermore unknowing to him we also did some homework on the man himself.According to his family members the MP himself has dedicated his time and efforts mostly to the constituency as this area is so complex and large. He has hardly have time for us and accusations of ‘not being around” “not on the ground“ are the work of the opposition and those who have ‘personal vendetta” against the party he represents and not BN as a whole.

There are Two ADUNS( Dennis Ngau from PBB and Sylvester Entri “BN Club”) in this Parliamentary seat of Baram. There are around 13000 voters in Dennis Ngau’s area in Telang Usan while Sylvester Entri 11000 voters.

Jacob said,”Dennis is working very closely with me and he is putting in a lot of effort to ensure BN retains this seat. He is keeping his fingers crossed that the other assemblyman who was sacked from SPDP for insubordination will work closely too with him. Jacob told us,’I have never ever uttered anything bad about the ADUN in question and this is what should be posted.

The Ibans in the area appreciate that and he told us to post this,

“How can a BN man claim he is a BN Man but on the samebreadth want to destroy a candidate sanctioned by BN”

I have kept very quiet and you know i do my work without much fanfare but recently we have received taped ceramahs from the ADUN that he will go all out against SPDP candidate in the area as they have sacked him. Jacob said this personal vengence or “anger” against the party is not in the spirit of BN. Didn’t the Deputy Prime Minister Muhyddin said that “traitors” will be dealt with accordingly? This must stop and it is no good for BN unity.

The Deputy Minister was puzzled as why there is so much focus on him eventhough he won so much as 4000 over votes while his MP neighbour in Limbang who scrapped through by 676 votes is not even mentioned on the same breadth? Why is there so much scrutiny on him and not the others?

We told him all his opponents are using not only Perception to run him down but he must do something to rebutt all the accusations. He knows some websites  have carried articles against him and he said dont worry audie61 “The Truth will prevail.”

Moreover he was also informed that there are certain forces within the State BN family who have even suggested the name of Anyi Ngau to be nominated. In this he said,Who are they to dictate who the party nominates? We do not want to have another Ba’Kalalan where we losts the State seat to PKR Baru Bian. There must not be anymore of this helicoptered candidate in the last minute or BN will suffer losses.

This has to stop now he said.

Jacob also showed us all his projects completed under his jurisdiction and he said there are so many lies out there which have hurt him and his family greatly. The mention of the “watertanks” which he applied from federal for the state in which Sylvester Entri implemented says so much for the deputy minister. This are all done for the people of Sarawak and when we do good we get accuse.

On another note he said,”many have even given Baram a grey/black area. However Jacob reminded us that he has received tremendous support from the likes of Temonggong Pahang Ding Anyie,Penghulu Herbert Lawai Epoi, Penghulu Patrick Jeliman,Pemanca Joseph Ngau Lian,Pemanca Philip Lakia and many others in PBB,SUPP and PRS to continue his work as MP for the area. They will go all out to defend the seat with him  and for BN/SPDP and he is encouraged.

He knows who have been pushing for him to be removed from the candidacy and he was even told that some agencies have written not so ‘favourable reports” against him. Jacob said”We need to work together and not do it justs for SELFISH and  GREEDY MEANS”

Jacob would be a very happy man if both YBS are working side by side with him. He does not want to name names as who else is involved in the charge against him and if he does it now it opens an opportunity for the Pakatan group to run him down.

Obviously we are also privy to the information and Jacob hopes that there are comparative fairness and hopes thatBN does focus too on other seats besides his and also to put a stop to the witchhunt on the party. BN needs to be united and if not the Pakatan group will capitalise on our weaknesses.

There have been too many uncalled reports and accusations hurled at MP Jacob Sagan. BN must know he won the seat successfully each time due to his time and efforts put into the constituency and not by ‘remote control”

SPDP will stand by Jacob as he prepares for his most challenging and toughest election campaign.

PBB “All for BN/SPDP Nogeh”

PBB-SPDP-300x202Tiki’s days are numbered. Of course, he is still the incumbent MP but he has been sacked from the party SPDP.

By virtue of the Sarawak BN coalition understanding the party SPDP will lay claim to the seat. The MP/YB can leave or be sacked by the party but the seat remains the party’s. This was reemphasised to me by a strong supporter of BN/SPDP whose family are mostly voters for the constituency.

Moreover, he said Tiki is still going round telling everyone practically he will still be the BN Chosen candidate. This voter even said this,” The newspapers should limit his coverage/publication of Tiki’s news and by doing so his wings will be clipped.”

This morning’s article where PBB branches in MAS GADING are throwing their weight behind Nogeh and headlines”Shot in the arm for Nogeh”is sending the CLEAREST SIGNAL to Tiki. (see below the article). Earlier articles written on Anthony Nogeh P192 :-

BAU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB)  branches in Mas Gading have cast doubts over the winning chances of incumbent  member of parliament Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe if he were to defend his seat in the  coming general election.

The chairmen of the party’s Opar and Tasik Biru branches Datuk Peter Minos  and John Nyigor respectively said Dr Tiki would find it very difficult to win  again following political events affecting him.

They believed the new face recommended by Sarawak Progressive Democratic  Party (SPDP) namely Anthony Nogeh Gumbek was the best person to represent  Barisan Nasional (BN) to defend the Mas Gading seat in the coming general  election.

They stated their stand in response to the reluctance by Prime Minister and  BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to rule out the possibility of fielding  direct BN candidates in the general election when asked by reporters during his  recent visit to the state.

Minos, who is also PBB deputy information chief, said there is no doubt that  Nogeh would be the BN candidate if the BN principle and constitution are adhered  to.

To our BN friends in Mas Gading, do not worry about PBB. We will help each  other to ensure victory,” he said, adding both PBB Opar and PBB Tasik Biru have  set up operations rooms at Kampung Stuum Muda and Bau town respectively to  assist SPDP.

Minos added that the chances of Dr Tiki winning was dented after being  dropped from the federal deputy minister’s post in 2008 and his sacking from  SPDP in 2011.

“He has been going around saying he is still winnable candidate. That is just  his propaganda.

“Just think of the reasons why he was dropped from the federal cabinet and  why he was sacked from his own party. Do you still think he is winnable? He is  not,” he told a gathering at the house of SPDP Tasik Biru vice chairman Majen  Minos at Kampung Grogo near here, last Saturday night.

‘Dr Tiki not appreciative, reciprocal to support given’

John who also spoke disputed Dr Tiki’s claim that he is winnable candidate,  pointing out that the candidate representing BN must have support of all the  four BN components in Mas Gading.

He claimed that Dr Tiki had not been appreciative and reciprocal to the  support rendered by PBB in assisting him in the past three elections.

“If he thinks he is winnable, why not stand as independent to prove it? As  far as PBB Tasik Biru is concerned, we respect SPDP’s decision to field Anthony  Nogeh as the candidate and we will help him to win by big majority,” he  said.

Also present at the gathering were SPDP vice president Rayan Narong, SPDP  supreme council member Michael Sitien and Nogeh himself.

Nogeh, who is the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority  (Salcra) deputy general manager, thanked those who assisted him in the past one  year covering the ground and pledged to do his best for the constituency.

Mawan “Whitens Saratok..!!”

SPDP/BN got it faults…but here ‘s the news,so have PKR/Pakatan. Let us remind ourselves that NO ONE ???????????????????????????????IS INVULNERABLE.

The ground and written reports have painted this SPDP seat as Greyish/Black and some whispers put it worse than Charcoal Black. That is bad for the morale of the party after going through an internal cleaning up process where the “traitors” have been sacked and new leaders have emerged from within.

There seems to be a hive of activity of leaders lobbying to be chosen to replace the “incumbent Jelaing Mersat” and be the BN candidate eventhough they know it’s an uphill struggle. Why? This is politics some say and Perception plays an important factor more than facts.

Amongst the new leaders who have put their names in the hat are Chambai Lindong, Enturan Luta, Jasmy Sadan Sagi, Dr James Chela, and Barbara Mawan. ( However ground sources have even said that none are throwing their own time FULLY and resources i.e. money to lobby hard unlike the PKR likely candidate Ali Biju.

How true the team of lobbyists they themselves need to ask themselves in the mirror. Have I done enough to deserve the seat? No Need to pint the INDEX FINGERS at me again…

Mawan as an experienced leader needs to make a swift and decisive move and he needs to take the measures which will ensure that the seat remains an SPDP/BN seat come what may.

His trump card will fall back on PKR and Pakatan cannot afford any slip ups as they will feel the rebounds would be greater than just mere words.

This which was written on 17th August 2011,”Word has got to the ears of an aide close to the PKR assemblyman. He said,”any other persons nominated by SPDP our YB will not stand in the parliamentary seat but if SPDP was to renominate Jelaing or put in Nyarok, there is every chance that he will seriously have to reconsider.”

Two of them are are on the way out Ali , and today this for good measure from BorneoPosts on line”There is also talk that Ali, who is from neighbouring Nanga Budu, might withdraw if Mawan is fielded in Saratok.

Ali Biju the Krian ADUN can deny all he can till the cows come home but his words and his ‘gentlemanly political image“ would be swept away in an instant. Let PKR tell him that and you must stand for the party or the coalition will not be able to go to Putrajaya..!!

Mawan himself needs to lead from the front and to stop the lobbyists from “spoiling the party’s chances” he needs to make that Tough decision.

There is a reason that leaders are given that name. It’s because they lead and Mawan Leads his party members and this will Inspire All to drop the negativeness of Saratok P205 as a greyish/black area.

Mawan will ultimately Whiten the Area and Deliver it to BN come GE13 when the results are announced

SPDP “All Because of You..!”

Anthony Nogeh(a)BN hopeful P192 Candidate has to thank the party and its loyal members for the undivided stand in supporting him to be on the party ticket to represent BN in the upcoming General Elections.

Of course Tiki Lafe and the so-called BNClub members will go all out to lobby till the last minute to ensure he stands a chance to be renominated.

PBB deputy information chief Peter Minos has thrown its weight behind SPDP’s choice. This was his the statement,” it was public knowledge that SPDP had decided that Nogeh would be its candidate  for Mas Gading and that they in PBB would respect that decision.

Anthony Nogeh would on Nomination day be thankful and say,”ALL BECAUSE OF YOU SPDP”..

This will be a new chapter for the party.

1BN Unity in Mas Gading P192

January 17th 2013 when DSG Paul Igai said this some are saying wait till the dissolution of Parliament and nomination day. The quote”

SPDP is BN and BN in Mas Gading is SPDP and any other claim is nonsensical. My advice to all the people spreading lies about dwindling support for SPDP and BN to immediately stop their act lest we give credence to our common opponent.

“Concentrate on defending the seat (Mas Gading) for BN.

Do we need further leverage than this with what PBB Deputy Information Chiefs statement today that he too is throwing his weight behind SPDP’s chosen candidate.

Isn’t this 1BN unity which BN Sarawak SG Dr.Rundi have been preaching.?

Well done and SPDP and PBB are truly showing the spirit for 1BN for GE13.

HIDUP 1BN! HIDUP SPDP! HIDUP PBB!

Mas Gading SPDP&PBB

DPM Is this Not Sabatoging?

They are In.No questions Asked. This is how it Works.

Lets look deeper and not just point the finger at the organisers and the Organising Chairman Abang Johari who seems to be getting the blame. He has no choice but its coined in such a way that his deputies in Rosey and Entri are calling the shots.

Why? They both are YBs who are in the northern part of Sarawak and they are both backed by hidden hands who are more powerful and their whispers are enough to send shivers down Abang Johari’s spine.

Moreover,Abang Johari outside Kuching is easily manipulated and many have even termed him as Tourism and Housing Minister for Kuching Division and not Sarawak. He did try to put his foot down and defuse the situation but ‘the internal infighting of PBB succession plan” is rearing its head (follow up indepth on this in the next article.soon)

SPDP and G5 are still locked in bitterness and going by what has happen it involves a very much bigger picture than what we can see openly says a senior PBB member. It does seem that there is a struggle to get ahead of each other and the tussle of the northern boss versus the southern boss is nearing its final stages.

Mawan looks to be being pushed to the limit and the partymachinery though very much with him is being attacked from outside forces who feels that YBs and MPs on their side will mean a stronger base for pushing ones candidacy to the top.

Eventhough DPM Muhyddin has strongly made his statements on sabotaging and Mawan also especially when he worded it as an “insult and ridicule” not only to SPDP but to Barisan Nasional as a whole with the participation of an “illegal entity in the TYTs parade in Miri. Mawan went on to say it is an”act of sabotage to the Barisan spirit of solidarity to happen is perplexing, very disturbing and intolerable.”

Najib and Muhyddin have too much on their plates and the MPs who will be standing in Ge13 is very much on their minds and SPDP having 4 seats will need to deliver if the party needs to survive after the GE13. The party needs to make a stand and Najib have to openly put a stop to this infighting or else what Azmin Ali Deputy President of PKR says will come true. If there are infighting the party will loose and its a fact.

CM Taib is watching with hawks eyes and call what you may “Act of sabotaging or indisciplined by G5″ the fact remains if Sarawak BN delivers CM Taib will be rests assured that his time will not be up.

There have one too may calls for his tenure to come to an end says an Assistant Minister and its nothing new but the fact remains PBB delivers as one can see 36 out of 36 seats contested and if PBB delivers 14 out of 14  who says he is not needed.

Can one blame Abang Johari for having a part in in sabotaging Barisan National Unity and solidarity? Surely, you have looked at the crystal bowl and have seen the faces who are very much responsible. Will tell you more very soon….

For now lets see whether Najib or Muhyddin will say G5 is illegal or very much part of the system of being a BN friendly entity.

A word”STOP THIS G5” will be music to the ears of BN SPDP.

Mawans BFF and Interview with Borneo Posts…..

SPDP President Tan Sri William Mawan knows who his BFF(Best Friends Forever) are especially when all the ADUNS have left him. 3 MPs are still with him while the other 1MP was sacked from the party.Mawan does not need to worry as he will still have the loyalists and the party machinery with him to fight the battle to retain the 4 SPDP allocated seats.

The other State seats and ADUNs the party have also sacked them and it will mean that there will be 7 available places to be filled up by NEW PARTY LEADERS from SPDP ranks. It was a crisis where it surely did open up opportunities which the previous ADUNS and MPS left a void. New leaders have emerge and SPDP have been garnering strength through the various activities, programmes and membership drive which have caught the imagination of many political leaders in and outside of BN.

If Mawan was weak he would have caved in and would even have retired with exhaustion but as a fighter and a leader he has shown tremendous capabilites and sustainability. SPDP knows and Mawan in particular knows who his BFF are and he has valued their help tremendously.

Below please find the excerpts from  his Chit Chat with Borneo Posts….

SARAWAK Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) president Tan Sri William Mawan  had a bumpy start in politics.

He contested three times and lost three times — each time by a small majority  of less than 500. The setback did not ‘kill’ him but instead made him  stronger.

Now, some 20 years after his first electoral victory, he is facing one of the  worst nightmares for a political leader — a mutiny from within.

But the seasoned Social Development Minister does not blink or flinch,  believing he can weather the storm by turning the internal crisis into a golden  opportunity to revamp and breathe new life into the party.

Incidentally, SPDP has been reduced to a mosquito party with just four  elected representatives after six of its YBs (the Group of Five (G5) and Meluan  assemblyman Wong Judat) left due to differences of opinion and other party  disputes.

In an interview with thesundaypost, the SPDP president spoke frankly about  his involvement in politics, how he is handling the crisis in the party and how  the party will see a new beginning after emerging stronger from its internal  problems.

Q: Please tell us a bit about how you started in politics.

A: I first contested in Pakan in the 1983 state elections where I lost by 261  votes. I stood in the same constituency in 1987 and lost again by 258 votes. In  the 1990 general elections (parliamentary), I stood as an independent in Julau  and came out 425 votes short. And in 1991 state elections, I stood again in  Pakan. This time round, I won by 595 votes.

Q: What motivated you to join politics?

A: I’m not sure. I was just around — always there with the people. I was  chosen three times and defeated again and again but I stayed on to be with the  people. Some people may just talk about politics or profess to be politicians,  yet they are seldom there with the people. For me, I’m just there with the  people. And if that makes me a politician, then I’m a politician.

Q: In other words, you have your own way of doing politics?

A: My way of doing politics is not the art of politics. It’s just the way of  my involvement. The art of doing politics involves organising people and  managing resources which has a much wider scope. I’m just describing my  natural way of getting involved with the people. I’m not trying to define the  art of managing politics.

Q: It has been perceived all this while that your weak leadership is the main  reason for the party crisis you are facing now. However, your past record of  replacing the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) with SPDP shows otherwise. Your  comments.

A: Yes, the way I am judged now and what my past record shows do not tally.  So whether my leadership is weak or strong, it has yet to be seen. A lot of  people said I am weak, some commented I am too soft. But as you have said, if I  could face a giant like SNAP before, would I be such a cowardy person now?   Many, after just one defeat, slipped into oblivion. I contested three times and  lost three times, yet I’m still around today. Do you think a weak person can do  that? I rely on my instincts on when to make a move, when to respond or how  to be reactive to things. There are always implications to what we do. And in  face of the recent happenings within the party, I try to look beyond them. I  never want to be drawn into them until I feel hopeless. I want to stand above  all these happenings so that I can have a clear view, and thus, be able to make  the right decision. And when a decision needed to be made, I made it. If  anyone needed to be sacked, we sacked them. We are not happy or excited to see  any BN representatives leaving. This, as the whole, is weakening BN. Even  though SPDP had sacked people, we didn’t do it hastily. It took almost two years  before the G5 were sacked. Along the way, we never stopped trying to win them  back. So was it with Wong Judat. There were two or three attempts to win him  back.

Q: So how do you see what your party is going through now? Within a year, six  of your YBs had either resigned or been sacked, reducing your party (which had  10 elected representatives — six assemblymen and four MPs) to a mosquito party  of only four elected representatives?

A: To me, this is just a passing shower. It comes and goes. It is a political  hazard but just temporary. For all you know, whether I make noise or keep  quiet, I have been handling the situation behind the scene. I have to evaluate  the situation and re-think the next move over and over again after all these  things happened. I have to keep my cool. I cannot be merely reactive to what  is happening. Yes, instant reaction might satisfy my emotions and ego but it  will be my nightmare the next day, especially in the present context of BN  politics and culture. As party president, I cannot say anything that  contradicts myself and be caught in my own cobwebs later on. As a politician — and quite a senior one — who has been around for over 20 year, I think I have  learnt to be much more patient. In politics, what you see today may not be there  tomorrow. I guess there are times when we have to lie low. In a troubled  time like this, even if I have to make a move, I won’t want to tell the world  about it. In the face of my enemies out there trying to destablise or  destroy our party, I need to be really cautious with everything, including the  nature and manner of our responses. In any case, we won’t tell people where we  hide our weapons.

Q: As a leader of one of the state BN components, have you been given any  assurance of support when you need it?

A: The saving grace is we are in BN. This is a BN government and this is BN  politics. We are a coalition and SPDP is part of it. Within BN, it is always  understood we are always part and parcel of one another. But no one will not  be able to help or sympathise with you if you get out of line. The BN system  will not be beneficial to you if you deviate. On the other hand, BN leaders  should stick to BN principles or rules and regulations governing BN. Then I  believe disputes within any component parties will finally be settled by  themselves. But if BN leaders were to deviate from BN principles, then they  would be setting a precedence. This is dangerous for everyone in the  coalition. If SPDP were to settle its affairs within the ambit of the BN  system, I think the party is safe. People come and go — quarrels will always  erupt here and there. After all, we are democratic. People are more educated and  versatile. Today they may jump there but tomorrow, they may come back again.   But as long as BN does not discard its system and principles as well as rules  and regulations governing the structure of the coalition that has been there for  a long time, all component parties will be safe. To me, there is no  compromise in this regard. As far as possible and up till now, I think SPDP has  managed to keep in line.

Q: How do you feel about the party crisis and what are the reactions of  the leaders in SPDP?

A: As human beings, we tend to be emotional and think we are always right.  This is the problem with ego. I have a lot of ego but it’s probably much more  controlled or submerged. It is not manifested much. And just like anybody  else, I may be tough and uncompromising but the situation demands that I should  take a few steps back in order to go forward. I’m very grateful to all SPDP  leaders. They never lose sight of their responsibilities. They know what we have  been doing and what the future holds for the party. And true enough, as I  have said, what happens today is just a temporary phenomenon. We look forward to  the future. That’s why we emphasise on recruitment and membership drive. We  have been recruiting many new and young professionals from colleges and  universities. To us, this bad time is a blessing in disguise. There are many  seats to be contested and many candidates to be fielded. To the present leaders,  this is a new beginning.

Q: What has SPDP been doing to overcome its crisis?

A: I think the party needs a lot of restructuring and political  re-engineering. And once the next state elections come round, the whole  situation will change. Now people tend to focus on the number of elected  representatives we have sacked and how many have resigned but in the next state  elections, there will be a totally new SPDP. We are in process of  re-positioning ourselves for bigger things and tougher challenges and I have  suggested that some very concrete steps be taken before the next state  elections. As for the coming parliamentary election, I think we are on  course with the four seats. We probably need to review and strengthen the  progress in these areas where we have been campaigning and working in close  collaboration with the BN machinery. Most people will see the glaring  absence of elected representatives in SPDP — except for William Mawan himself.  But SPDP people know there are many of us and we know right infront of us are  bright sunny days. Elected representatives are important to us. For a  political organisation, you must have elected representatives. We do have seats  but in an election, any party can lose seats. But this is just temporary.  People just swing away now but they will swing back. Some may leave the party,  others return. But the party is still there.

Q: How do you plan to move forward from here?

A: SPDP will continue its good partnership with the other state BN  components. As for the party’s future, we are now providing a platform for young  professionals to play active roles in leadership and social activities which  include welfare. With many vacancies in terms of BN allocated seats, SPDP is  now an attractive platform for young professionals to come in and prove their  worth and leadership qualities. We started our revamp two years ago by first  creating the puteri wing, followed by the putera wing last year. For the puteri  wing, more than 2,000 members on average are recruited monthly since the  beginning of this year. The total membership of the party is now about  100,000-strong. This is the new begining. We have gone through the worst and  are now thinking of how we will rise from this. We need to reorganise and  re-engineer and we also need new and young people. This is a golden  opportunity to revamp because some leaders have already displaced themselves.  Out of necessity, I have to bring in new people to replace them. In the next  elections, you will see SPDP winning back all its eight state and four  parliamentary seats. We will come back to be more energetic, more poised, more  focused and above all, much more relevant. What the future holds is not what  we can foresee. But I’m optimistic the new system and structure of the party  will allow it to survive for next 50 years.

Wong Judat ..Make Your Stand.!!!

If the Olympic Council Committee of Great Britain can make a decision on who should light up the Olympic flame the decision on Wong Judat is not to difficult a choice to make. We have already made our stand in our earlier posting”SPDP Wong Judat Hedging Choice over” which is reposted below.

There are at least 36 decision makers in the SPDP Supreme council and their decision will have an effect on the Barisan National Team which will make its presence felt in the 31 constituencies in the General elections. The grassroots of 1BN which is now being used as the war cry by PM Najib are getting angrier with all the “indecisiveness and selfishness ‘ of some of the socalled YBs who won on BN tickets who are making life difficult for BN in totality. The GE13 is upon us and we need to be united as one and if we can only put our differences aside and fight as a unified and solidified TEAM BN dont rule out the MANY SHOCKS of losses in the BN camp when the votes are counted.

It seems that Wong Judat,Lajim Okim and  Wilfred Bamburing amongst others of late are testing the patience of the grassroots and the BN leaders. There will be a time when the iron fists will clamp down on them and it is not a loss to BN or a gain to Pakatan. The grassroots will be more than happy to see the lasts of them and their so called hedging adventures and say”good riddance to them’

One losts means there will be 1 more new face

This article which appeared in todays Borneo Posts extracted and reposted below does make a mockery of the whole situation. The party have losts 5 assemblyman and up comes another who feels that he is bigger than the party and throws his weight to make himself all the more important and of course hedge his own reputation so that his bidding price will not be lowered.

A Vice President of the party said to audie61,”yeah, its about the numbers in the party in terms of assemblyman but with 5 gone 1 more to follow it does create a vacuum TEMPORARILY but 6 new faces will emerge and they will take the opportunity to be chosen or picked. The BNSarawak SG  has already mentioned that clearly the person can go but the seat is with the party and Larry Sngs case has all the more shown a clear example.”

The days ahead will be not be any easier for SPDP but with friends in BN who will guide the party through the stormy waters the party will be able to solidify and come up stronger. Its up to the new faces and the youth to carry the torch further and light up a new beginning for SPDP and BN in totality. The Olympics showed the world what it needs a Youthful TEAM to who will in turn spur a whole new generation of LEADERS.

On May 1st this appeared in Borneo Post which we quote” “How can I quit BN and SPDP? I am a strongman of SPDP. I am a strong BN supporter. I brought the seat of Meluan to SPDP and therefore to BN.”

Today Wong Judat has more than ruffled up a few feathers and his Hedging with SWP,SPDP.PRS and also to boosts his personal value is very much coming to an end. He has indeed put the party SPDP in the back burner and wants to project himself as a champion of the truth.

His personal ego and battle against Joseph Salang Vice President of PRS is due mainly to the “stalled RM3 million Nanga Entabai-Rantau Limau road project.” Salang had explained on the reasons for the divertion of funds but Judat just cannot accept the fact that the funds were stolen right under his noses.

We received from an informed source that Salang is only too happy to await for Wong Judat to challenge him as the incumbent for Julau. The source says “let him come as our personal differences or his vendetta is making him Wong losing sleep. I am ready for whatever eventualities says Salang

Wong Judats outpouring of emotions and going for broke only if Salang is chosen as candidate for GE13 has put a dampener on his hedging stances. It does appear that noises from within SWP in that the President is not too happy with Wong Judats “fast and furious ways and also over enthusiastic TEMPER. The Party SWP is going for 6 seats and if Salang is not chosen Wong Judat will not stand.

WHERE DOES THIS PUT SWP SURELY IN A DILEMMA? It will indeed throw a spanner in the works of SWP and it will benefit PRS is the voice from within.

Wong Judat needs to make his own choices very soon. He either forgos his Vice Presidents posts in SPDP (failing which it will fall to the hands of the disciplinary committee) or he resigns gentlemanly in which SPDP will have one less ADUN and left with 1 ADUN and 3 MPs.

His HEDGING DAYS are nearing the end but its also up to him to make a choice as the party SPDP will not want to get into loggerheads with PRS.

The BN component parties needs to stay united and in solidarity as it faces its toughest yet General Elections which will be called by the PM very soon.

: Is Meluan assemblyman Wong Judat having second thoughts?

Following the hoo-hah over his announcement on July 21 that he would quit SPDP on July 31, Wong came out yesterday to say that news reports about his quit decision are “inaccurate”.

“As far as I am concerned, news reports on my decision to quit SPDP at the end of this month are inaccurate. I have yet to make an official announcement on the matter.

“It is common knowledge that such an important decision can only be confirmed in black and white or through an official letter,” he said when met by The Borneo Post yesterday.

Unlike his firm stand last Saturday, Wong played sly yesterday when he declined to rule out the possibility of him resigning from SPDP by reiterating “only an official letter can confirm this”.

After a `Pentas Rakyat’ gathering organised by Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) in Kanowit on July 21, Wong told reporters that he would quit SPDP, in which he is one of its vice president, to enable him to contest in Julau in the coming general election.

He had said then that he would be meeting party president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom and deputy president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing in Kuala Lumpur on July 30 to explain his move, and then quit the following day.

But yesterday, Wong said until such time that he made his decision official he hoped political leaders from both sides of the political divide would not rush to make comments about his move.

“Nothing real has happened yet, so there is no basis or issue for anyone to comment on,” he remarked when asked to comment on statements issued by various quarters the last few days.

He described those who had opened their mouth as being “over anxious” and lacked patience when being confronted by such an unusual situation.

He singled out comments by PBB Bintulu Youth vice chairman Pandi Suhaili and State Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Datuk Roland Sagah in particular.

The three-term Meluan assemblyman said it was unfair for Pandi to request him to vacate Meluan when he (Wong) had not made his decision official.

He said Pandi had pre-empted his decision, adding he (Pandi) might as well call on the five elected representatives who were sacked from SPDP more than six months ago to vacate their seats as well.

The elected representatives shown the door by SPDP for gross insubordination were Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie (Tasik Biru), Datuk Sylvester Entri (Marudi), Paulus Gumbang (Batu Danau), Rosey Yunus (Bekenu) and Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe (Mas Gading).

Wong said Sagah was being over anxious when he said he (Wong) would be seated with members of the opposition should he resign from the Barisan Nasional (BN), of which SPDP is a coalition partner.

“If Sagah feels he is making the right decision on my anticipated case, he should accord the five sacked SPDP assemblymen similar treatment by asking them to sit with the opposition members as well.”

Wong said like the sacked five, he could also form a BN Club to enable him to remain in BN should he decide to go through with his quit decision.

SPDP “Supreme Council Meeting”

This Sunday the SPDP (Sarawak Progreesive Democratic Party} supreme Council will see some interesting and “hot” issues  which will be brought up. According to insider sources the agenda will be normal but of course in any other business the members will bring to the attention of the party of what needs to be addressed.

All eyes will be on Sunday and many journalists will make a beeline for first hand information as SPDP never fails to disapppoint.
