Awang Tengah’s Men ” Oh My..Sarawak Report ..??”

The blame game started as soon as our first article on the subject matter hit the cyberworld. It does seem now that there is something more sinister which we did not want to address as it concerns”Black Magic or Bomohism“

There have been many phone calls plus some not so nice words exchanged to us. We were informed that the plot and evil plans have been in motion for sometime and it will surface soon. Awang Tengah’s men are now in denial and shifting gears to repair Collateral Damage. Little did they know this appeared today in the notoriously widely read http://www.sarawakreport.org and we extract the following for Awang Tengah’s men to ponder on.

By the way, we did not speak or call the portal sarawakreport. Awang Tengah’s men have a tendency to push the blame to others.

It’s high time they own up and pay for their over enthusiasm and instigating those around them.

The innocent must not take the fall for them no more as YAB Taib have been too kind to them and this is what they call GRATITUDE.

{  Which brings us back to the rivalries between the would-be successors to Taib himself. Currently, the man who is most feared and on the top of the heap is Awang Tengah, Assemblyman for Bukit Sari.

The old man had earlier rewarded Tengah’s apparent loyalty by giving him the position of Second Planning Minister, which has made the young minister astoundingly rich in a very short period.

To onlookers it seems that Taib no longer exerts any restraint over the greed of his family and followers. Such people are snatching what they can while they can, be it contracts, NCR land or remaining timber concessions.

Tengah is acknowledged to be one of the most rapacious of these operators and with wealth comes power.

Now members of Taib’s own inner circle are warning that Awang Tengah has bought control over enough of the Chief Minister’s followers to be in poll position to topple the old man and take power for himself:

“Taib is realising what is actually happening. But, at this moment he cannot move Tengah because he already has less influence to get rid Tengah. This is because Tengah is getting stronger and even more stronger than Abang Jo and Adenan [Satem]. With his wealth, power and the big number of state assemblymen that he control, he can topple Taib anytime and be the next CM of Sarawak…. Tengah is actually a thug. I don’t want Sarawak in the situation of out from the tiger’s mouth, into the crocodile’s mouth” [insider speaking to Sarawak Report].

What is certain is that although Taib is clinging on to power, he will soon be gone. Both his sons, whom the old man had hoped would succeed him, have been ruled out of position (Abu Bekir because of his messy and scandalous divorce, which is still unresolved and Sulaiman because he has run away).

The situation leaves little comfort for the people of Sarawak unless they can rid themselves of BN and its in-fighting at the next election.

The Tiger was bad enough, but the Crocodile strikes fear even amongst the rich and powerful in Sarawak.}

Atishoo “Knocked out”

If an incumbent YB and MP is dropped from the lists to contest in GE13 there will be all sorts of reasons handed to him/her. But when it involves health there is no choice but to step aside to someone who is capable and has the energy to serve the people of the constituency.

Our team of Natasha,Cindy and Ramesh are at the moment at home and unable to bring up to date stories/articles as they are suffering from influenza and cough. Could it be the Haze? A pharmacist said many people are sick and we should drink more water and stay indoors. Well even the boss is “KNOCKED OUT”

There were stories of the R.A.P Team (original or new)and also the Petra Jaya Incumbent who will not be renominated? We will get to that with insights when they are all well and giving “juicy stories”

 

Taib “Leap of Faith”

The succession to Sarawak’s CM glittering throne is again up for grabs. Many are questioning the CM for his ‘waiting game’Justs when is the appropriate time for him to let go?

WHY DOESN’T HE IS JUSTS RELINQUISH WHEN HE IS VERY MUCH IN CONTROL..??

He won the State elections handsomely especially with his party PBB with a 100% return out of 35 seats. 13 seats which fell to the opposition are the semi/urban Chinese seats of SUPP while rural seats two in SPDP and one PRS can be attibuted mainly to infighting and wrong choice of candidates.

One school of thought said,’Why should he go when he has the mandate of the rakyat for another 5 years term.?” He has delivered for Barisan National but there are ”some” overzealous leaders who are working overtime to see an end to Taibs  rule. They certainly have been plotting daily and making Taib not only feeling “angry” on a number of occasions already” but also purposely revealing chunks of unbelievable mayhem of articles which seriously are ’disturbing his peace of mind”

When the ‘shit first hit the fan” many legislators and strong link business partners took amongst themselves to rally and fight for their dear leader. Some when even as far as getting the right messages across which we just need to remind them with words as,”Hidup Taib” etc etc.

 Do not need to be reminded do we.?

Taib doesn’t need to be forced out which would be rather humiliating. Frank Sinatra would be very proud of him if Taib justs do it his own way. The song lyrics are very clear ,”And Now the end is near and I face the final curtain…”

Don’t worry Taib needs only to take the leap of faith and wink his eyes to the RIGHT and there will be others who would be joining him to retire gracefully. More would certainly just exit at the right time as a New Successor in place would have mean ’replacements” are certainly in place.

Taib has said that he will live in good time and knowing the character of the man many are justs using all methods and ways to try to oust him out. The top leaders might not be in directly involved in the scheming and hatching of the plans for succession but indirectly the trail does lead back.

Do you recall this article in September,”Zaini Hassan who wrote in Utusan where he made a “ subtle call to Abdul Taib Mahmud today to step down in order to save Sarawak BN, telling him to heed the lesson the Terengganu BN learnt in 1999.” Justs lasts weekend another Utusan Malaysia reporter played the same kind of music but disguised to provoke CM Taib.

WE ALL KNOW where its coming from. Clear isn’t it?

Politics is all about Power and given Power to some of them they will try to take out the next person who they see as a threat for their survival. They will derail,deprive and disband the forces surrounding the leader and will remove him when the minutest of opening presents itself. Taib is already seen as having absolute control over the affairs in the State and will not ‘bow’ easily to threats,intimidation and fear tactics which he has mastered nearly 50 yers in service for State and Federal.

He is buying time to ensure that his pet project” the SCORE is not been shelved but carried out soonest before he calls time. His closest aides are telling him to take his time eventhough he himself feels that all is in place for him to justs take the Leap of Faith.

Certainly there are many names (see below Sarawak Trilogy Part 1,2 and Final) and calibre persons who will step in to see to the smooth transitional and move forward Sarawak State. Whoever takes over from Taib will not have it easy as he has used his political astuteness and manouverings to helm the State for well over 30 years.

You will have your own favourite Son of Sarawak to take over but do you know who is the anointed one yet…??  Wait..Taib has yet to take the LEAP OF FAITH

Sarawak “PEACE” Party registered.?”

It seems that the credibility of new Sarawak political parties being formed are not justs ‘mere rumours” The ROS Sarawak director has recently said,”that there are at least 4 parties that  have submitted their details and one has already received its registration.”

Even the date of the launching was planned but it was aborted at the last minute due to interferences and certain glitches. Prominent political figures are behind the mushrooming of the parties. The modus operandi has the makings of the infighting suffered during the PBS era in Sabah and also ‘goodies” that came along with the return of BN government.

The first steps needs to be engineered and the rests would fall into place when the succession of power comes into play.

WOULD YOU DARE TO BET THAT THIS IS NOT HAPPENING?

The present political situation is so fluid and with the SPDP5 and G7 assemblyman in direct insubordination plus boycotting the TDC recently more will surface in due time. The BN MPs and YBs are not exactly at PEACE with each other and maybe the PEACE party which was earlier reported in June 14th 2010 would be a good platform to house all the so called -”Political REBELS”.

JPJ amongst the local fraternity from Kampung Sagah in Bau must be supported by a Powerful Hidden Hand with connections to the ruling BN government.

SPDP 5 “Disciplinary Actions….?”

There has been so much written about the SPDP 5,Gang of 5, Separatists 5 and whatever names we have for them they are still 5YBs who are elected by the people and standing on the party SPDP’ticket”. But one thing is certain there have sat out in the sun defying whatever approaches the Party President and his aides have come out with.

There have been also many calls by all the top leaders in the Prime Minister to Deputy PM to the Chief Minister and many others in BN SG and Sarawak BN SG to their own President but still the 5 remains defiant to stay away.

We pick up this to remind them of the very first statement that Mawan said in a PC in which audie61 were present.

No, he did not and during that time the party set up the disciplinary committee too on 28th February 2010.

As a matter of fact the Supreme Council has to thanked them Separatists 5 for ensuring SPDP will have all the bureaus in place. Thats why we are revamping and making sure this episode is not repeated an we have put in place an independant group to oversee the DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE. They are the following and they will be taking the neceessary actions if and when necessary against Party members who crossed the line.

Our privilege source told us after the Ulu Teru function last weekend and all the debacle of security threats and sabotage the time is ripe to take the necessary action. The disciplinary committee have already met up and they would look no further than one of them going all out to derail the Presidents visit.

The Disciplinary committee has still to follow the RULE OF LAW which is the party constitution. The reading public would like to be thrown some light into the procedures of the SPDP constitution. We simplify for easy understanding of the processes

Article 24 which is first step taken by the supreme Council has been adhered to.

• 24 -1 disciplinary board established from time to time as and when necessary
• 24-2 The composition 5 members appointed by the Supreme Council and not Supreme Council members.
• 24-3  they can choose any of the 5 listed censure,suspend,expe,lbar or take any other necessary action in the constitution and make recommendation to the Supreme council.
• 24-4  They will hold inquiry a) given notice b) given right to explain c) option to defend
• 24-5  Decision by a vote of simple majority
•  24-6 Deliberations to be tabled at Supreme Council on recommendations/findings from disciplinary committee.

The Supreme Council will be tasked to take the necessary actions and it is not the President who sets the judgement. Lets be very CLEAR ON THIS MATTER and President William Mawan has been very tolerant and he knows the rule of the Law of the party constitution.

The SC will deliberate and they will

a)  expel without hesitation

b)  deliberate further with considerations of disciplinary actions such as

• 1) censure
• 2)suspend the membership
• 3)any other disciplinary actions which they see fit.

The SC after going through their deliberations within the confines of the SUprem Council meeting will act and inform the Disciplinary committee to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the member who has violated the party rules. They musts state the exact and specific nature of the charge preferred against the member.

The Constitution also clearly states,”Any decision of the Supreme Council under the article 24 shall be arrived at by 2/3 majority of the votes of the Supreme Council present and attending and such decision of the Supreme Council shall be final and shall not be appealed from and questioned in any Tribunal or Court of Law.

The court of law defines as any court established under the provision of the Fedral Constitution and includes the Sessions Courts and Magistrates established under the Provisions of Subordinate Courts act 1948.

Just for the information of the Separatists 5 this might happen when they try to bring the party to court:-

“The judge might just rule that under the relevant provision of the societies act ‘no court shall have jurisdiction to entertain or determine any suit,appliocation,question or proceeding on any ground regarding the validity of a decision of a political party or any matter relating to the affairs of the party.”

SPDP needs to clear this little irritant/misunderstanding and the CM Taib has already spelt it out clearly,”I must tell you one thing,SPDP is still a very united party on the ground.But probably there is some rivalry at the leadership level.People have got to learn to adjust“

NO one is wrong justs yet until the SC meets again. 

audie61 called DSG Paul Igai this morning to find out when the next SC meeting and he said we are working to accomodate everyone. We see it very clearly that in the party SPDP that even when the last rites are to be delivered and sentencing that goes with it there is still room for FORGIVENESS and REPENTANCE.

Eversince CM Sarawak mentioned all will be well within BN/SPDP the dirty linens went missing. The disciplinary committee of SPDP went about their business of putting the report with findings and recommendations ready for SPDP Supreme Council meeting.

Mawan the President finds no urgency in this matter,gives the Separatists 5 further”extra time“ for them to seek “an olive branch”before he blows the final whistle. According to insider sources the next SC will be held towards the end of October and definitely justs before the next DUN sitting on 12th November 2011. 

3 questions however needs to be answered and hopefully you will be as good as our lawyer friend.

• 1. Who submitted the name of Rosey to be elevated to be Assistant Minister? Answer….

Wah! you are as good as VK Lingam the senior lawyer who brokered the appointment of friendly judges to senior positions in the judiciary and is well connected and powerful.

 Oooh! I forgot you must be one of those closely connected with PBB who has the final say. Don’t look around as the walls are closing in. We wrote this on March 30th 2010 in which even then CM Taib was even implicated.

Adenan..Logging No..!!”

It’s crystal clear what Adenan Satem Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office and Special Functions Minister has said in a Press Conference to the media at his Office. However there are many out there who still have their own interpretation on his tasks. Adenan a trained lawyer would only say what he knows is right and will not try to hookwinked the people into believing him.

One must know that he is not in the chambers to be challenged says a staunch supporter. Adenan would silently do his required tasks eventhough there are some disgruntled voices and whispers in the corridors who are justs willing him to fail. He is doing to serve the rakyat to the bests of his abilities and will let the POLITICAL SIDE meander its own course.

Of course, Adenan being quick witted knows that some are using the media to corner him and he stressed on the particular subject of logging licences but reminded them that ,”I’ve got no power” 

It will be a testing time for Adenan and his colleaques in the new cabinet lineup but he knows all will gell like Clockwork in no time.
