If  its a ‘FEEL GOOD FACTOR“ Why Not..?? The ruling PM and his political inner circles will of course consider  the countrys economy, the mood of the people whether it is one of disenchantment or are still controllable. When Tian Chua the information chief of PKR said in this Malaysiakini report  http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/96253 ,” Pakatan Rakyat leadership had already alerted its leaders and members across the country to be prepared for the snap election

Obviously, the political strategies within the Pakatan coalition are looking at these two main reasons

  1. Najib would be left with no choice but to seek a fresh mandate from Malaysians and clear out parliamentarians linked closely to outgoing premier, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi
  2. SNAP Polls will also be used to reduce Pakatans Strength in Parliament.

Even DAP national election preparatory committee chairperson Tan Kok Wai also conveyed a similar message to all party leaders in a letter dated Dec 16, 2008.He called on DAP leaders and members at all levels to be prepared to face an early parliamentary election because the new premier would seek a fresh mandate.

One of the strong man of SUPP N12 Kota Sentosa and N13 Batu Kawa even said SUPP in these constituencies are ready anytime. We lost N12 Kota Sentosa (new seat) and we are working very hard to win this seat this time round.N13 we will face strong opposition but the incumbent ADUN is seen to be working well with the constituency.  The mood of the people is seen going with DAP and PKR but he still feels confident enough to say,” That was then ,This will be Now.” The voters will know who to vote and they will not just CHANGE a  good wakil rakyat (peoples representative) just for the sake of CHANGING. Will Sarawak face the parliamentary and state elections together with the whole country..? That certainly will be very interesting and  the state BN will not take any thing forgranted this time round.

He also concurs that Najib will have his plans laid down for him and he will also get his feedback from his inner circles,KEMAS Officers,Information,Military,Special Branch Officers and Component parties before he embarks on ‘THIS SNAP POLLS CONCEPT”. Najib will also not want to be known as the ‘SHORTEST PM OF MALAYSIA”.  The SUPP man also said,”If Najib is ready,we are too..!!”

When Tian Chua said this in Malaysiakini,”"If the new prime minister thinks BN can better its results than the last polls, he has got it wrong,” To even contemplate to say the above, Tian is and will only be asking for BN to come charging at him, attack him and open an avenue for a political warfare. It remains to be seen whether Najib will bite the carrot and go for SNAP polls like all the previous PMs. They call it ,”The Honeymoon Period” Ada chance BN..? But will the WIND OF CHANGE be greater than 308..?

    I could be wrong.

“He also concurs that Najib will have his plans laid down for him and he will also get his feedback from his inner circles,KEMAS Officers,Information,Military,Special Branch Officers and Component parties before he embarks on ‘THIS SNAP POLLS CONCEPT”.

KEMAS, Information, Military, Special Branch belong to the government and not political parties.

If Najib were to call for a snap election, it should be in his capacity as Chairman of the governing party. Probably we are have been brainwashed that we dont recognise the 3 independent branches of democracy.

Even then Najib’s ascendency is littered with booby traps. There is a petition to call for his rejection as PM.

  2. asri Says:

I do agree with frozenthots that kemas ,military etc do not belong to political parties but they are used to gauge the sentiments too. That is also used by opposition parties. we also have friends in SB hehehe

Hurry i cannot wait anymore.times are bad and we need to revitalise our economy by getting this political problem out of the way. BN or Pakatan as long as the Economy improves who cares..???

  4. Mata Kuching Says:

With one big thorny issue solved, the issue of Hudud has been killed and buried forever with the PAKATAN’s historic agreement that a consensus is required before any policy decisions can be made was reached yesterday. Non muslims will long longer be intimidated and made to fear for infrindgement on freedom of religious practise an d that PAS in PAKATAN will press on for Hudud to be implemented if PAKATAN forms the Federal government. Such maturity in PAKATAN is applauded and Malaysians can see for themselves what direction the PAKATAN coalition is leading us.

BN Sarawak cannot put fear in Christians and non muslims in Sarawak and Sabah anymore and the coastal areas with predominently Malay/melanau and about 10% non muslim voters will give their support to even PAS candidates. Hidup PAKATAN!

  5. chris chong Says:

    I don’t think so.

najis has no plan. he is only good at womanising, taking commission and c4ing the trouble.

he is the PM in waiting because he is basically doing nothing.

  6. bangsa Cina Malaysia Says:

pakatan MPs who are still sleeping please wake up
before the next tsunami sweep you guys away.

especially MPs from the DAP who cant even speak proper Bahasa let alone communicate with the Malays please work harder and liase more with the Malays.

you are where you are today becoz of their votes.

  7. hostage88 Says:

    BN buried in KT man.

Look at their bankrupt of ideas, closing down DAP Operations Center.

Go on. The more you do the better.

Same for Sarawak. I just pray Houdini change the contents of the replaced ballot boxes favouring the opposition and how i wish i can be at all counting centers to look at the anguish of BN Candidates and Taib face getting pale in fear of what is in store for him once his Gangster Government fall.

  8. KEN Says:

Great desperate BN works in KT. Good continegency plans:

    1. Lucky draws for F contractors ( 1st of its kind in the world human history)
    2. “Promised” return of oil royalty to T’ganu ( the robber returns the loot)
    3. Karoke signing competition – 1st prize color TV ( extra ordinary and stupid MCA )
    4. Millions allocation for Chinese majority areas ( why not during those years before?)
    5. Order DAP operation office to close and move ( why other cannot have office?)
    6. Send “SOS” – Help, Help, Help message to Gerakan + MCA ( now you need them ?)
    7. Ang Pao …and some more ( all these are clean and rightful, no bribing ya..)

May I add some suggestions to you BN:

    * Put all roads going into KT under repair and new tar surfacing work, close them so that all young Malays/Indians/Chinese cannot come back to vote

    * Cease all public transportation and make Police to create traffic jams to KT for the same purpose ( road-blocking for security reasons lahhhhh)

    * In the morning of voting day, shower RM50 notes by helicopter all over KT ( because you still think these Chinese are ” Money Face ” ( Lui Mian )

    * With helicopter also, please shower down some 4D tickets – lucky numbers may be 8787, etc…( dont forget to throw down some roti / gula gula also…

And when you win, Don’t Forget To Remember KT Ya!!! If the tactic works, please copy for use in Swk next election….

  9. tun perak Says:

You are wrong, he can disolve parliment but not state leglistors, that means federal elections not state elections. have you forgotten the states have 5 years more to run before elections. Please correct me if i am wrong.

  10. Fully agree with Tun Perak. The States under Pakatan will not dissolve their respective States. That will be a disadvantaged to BN because all the State ADUNs and resources will be attacking BN MPs areas. Its sucidal for Najib. If Najib wants a snap election its only parlimentary elections.
Dont see Lim Guan Eng will dissolve the Penang DUN just to follow Najib whims and fancies. Before the BN can call any elections becos the were ruling all the states except Kelantan, but its tenure with Kelantan is the same.
