Malaysiakini Rahmah Ghazali and P.Tarani http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/85966  just a few days ago filed this report. In it Anwar Ibrahim demanded that Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar retract, publicly apologise and pay RM100 million for calling him a ‘tukang lapor’ (snitch) for the United States.

I did mention that in my earlier piece’ http://audie61.wordpress.com/2008/07/12/anwar-rat-racedawning-of-new-era-malaysiakini/“Rat Race,Dawning of an Era.”If someone brings a lawsuit against you and take you to court,do your best to settle the dispute before you get to court.“ It was reported that today the IGP will be filing through his lawyers a legal suit against Anwar for bringing his name into disrepute as IGP. This was first reported in a local Chinese daily that Musa had asked Anwar to apologise to him within 40 hours or face a RM5 million legal suit. Great… don’t you think.?

I was watching KJ the MP for Rembau in TV1 when he was interviewed and I picked up this. “Consistency” He must have mentioned it at least 10 times. Why, to me the time of politiking is over and the MPs must get down and serve the rakyat who are the “MASTERS”. Fair,I’m a fair person to and if both sides of the house, deliberate, compromise and find amicable solutions and move Malaysia’s economy forward I will be shouting hoarse their names and unveil a big banner at the top of Petronas Towers.

The world will be envious as Malaysia’s economic policies will be consistently ahead. KJ represents what Malaysia will be past the year 2020 and we cannot ignore his vision of legislators practising “Consistent” Politics. Our young people are watching your every step KJ. I do not in any way try to “apple polish” anyone but if its for the good of Malaysia I will “buy” that. The truth prevails….

Going back to the IGP who said”It is my right whether to sue him or not,”. Malaysia everyone loves to go to court especially when it involves ”defamation of character.” and this was echoed long time ago. Allow me to finish the verse before you get to court.” If you don’t you will be dragged before the judge, who will hand over you to the police, and you will be put in jail. There you will stay,I tell you, until you pay the last penny of your time”

Or yea, going back to KJ’s “consistency“, Anwar said to Syed in 48 hours while IGP said 40 hours to Anwar. Never ending….The latest sms I received  before I post this article though is Anwar will not go to KL Police hqs for questioning over the sodomy allegation. Its getting tastier. You and I are watching the “Malaysiabolehland’ intrigues unfolding… keep the popcorn coming..

Unanswered questions over the police bashing of Malaysia’s Anwar Ibrahim
By Peter Symonds, 6 March 1999

Last Sunday former inspector general of police Abdul Rahim Noor admitted for the first time that he had personally assaulted Anwar on September 20, the night of Anwar’s arrest. Rahim repeatedly hit Anwar on the head, neck and arm so hard that bruising and a black eye were still evident nine days later when he appeared in court.

Anwar was then whisked away to an unknown destination and no one heard from him or could get access to him until he appeared in public, nine days later, with a badly bruised face. While in police custody, Anwar was badly beaten – while handcuffed and blindfolded – and left unconscious on the floor where he was discovered the following morning – still unconscious – by a police officer who had just come on duty.

Four days after Anwar’s detention, Malaysia’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) falsely declared to the media that Anwar was “safe and sound”. After Anwar’s first public appearance, Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad brushed aside talk of police brutality and said that the injuries must have been self-inflicted to gain public sympathy.

On 5 January 1999, the Attorney-General (AG) said, “Based on the medical reports and the investigation file of the Special Investigation Team as a whole, I am satisfied that several injuries alleged by the Complainant are not true, while there are injuries on certain parts of his body proved to have been accused by police officers whilst he was in police custody.”

The AG added, “I am also of the opinion that the Royal Malaysian Police is fully responsible for the injuries to the Complainant whilst he was in the legal custody of the Police. Nevertheless, the investigations which have been carried out so far have not identified the person or persons responsible for such injuries.

The above cost RM5 million, some jokers !
