“Brave and Brilliant Political Statement PM”
July 9, 2008
In this Malaysiakini portal report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/85866 and headlined “GLCs need not be led by UMNO Members” I thought it was a brave and brilliant political manoeuvre by our PM.
I have said that the PM knows what he is doing and to rub it in RPK also said that he might not like Abdullah but I must certainly admire his skills. He looks stupid,he talks stupid,he acts stupid, but a man who can make you think he is stupid is actually cleverer than you.
This is certainly a way of telling you know who…that I will not easily fall for it and also this is too small a matter to even politicise the issue. On this issue, well done PM.. The Lone Ranger rides again!” “Hi-yo, Silver, away!”

Way to go PM!

Good One and thats the way to deal with the rests of them in UMNO! Pacify them first then slit them off.

We know he looks stupid and we also know he is very clever but he needs to move faster or else it will all catch up on him!grrrrrr

With one caution…
If you recall most of Abdullah’s formal statements on prevailing issues or policies, you would realize he makes almost a perfect speech. But as we know most of them remain speeches and nothing more.
In the recent time he spoke of judicial reforms, he spoke of reforms in police; he also spoke on religious issues between Muslims and non-Muslims. But what has happened is obvious opposite. Are we saying this is effective? Are we saying Abdullah doing a good job?
Until he walks his talk he will be continued to be seen as ineffective PM

Good suggestion..but we wait and see either the PM will name it from other parties. Cakap saja orang tak percaya..kadang-kala cakap tapi bohong.

KYB: Good to meet you here! Somehow, I think you are sadly mistaken and wrong this time. PM is on the roll and watch out for more to come … I think.
PM has given Anwar and the rest of the fear mongers the rope to hang themselves. I think he is on the come back trail, and believe me it is never too late for the sake of our homeland. We all share a stake in Malaysia’s future and it is time we support our PM to achieve his goal.

How clever of him.
How brilliant of him.
Or should I say, how stupid are we?
It was a non-issue in the 1st place, and by capitalizing on a non-issue, he made people think he’s all well and good.
It’s about competence, not rhetorics.

I have to disagree with your statement. There is no logic to this kind of statement. “He looks stupid,he talks stupid,he acts stupid, but a man who can make you think he is stupid is actually cleverer than you.” I am really surprise that you are impressed with his stupidity. Mind you, there another dimension to his stupidity…..he tell lies plain lies. This is proven. A stupid liar don’t impressed me at all.

The intellectuals amongst the group always pays the price my friend. At least I got all of you going. PM does not rule with an “IRON FIST” he could have and be worst than Dr M. Everyone has their weaknesses but give him until Dec 21st………judge him then

Audie61: You are right! Give PM until Dec 21st, but what kind of measurements are you using to judge him then?

Simple. He has yet to be elected into office. So when he does not have full UMNO mandate he will still feel a sense of insecurity. I would too as nothing beats being elected into the party hierarchy. As when I was a JCI member it was thrilling, exciting, stressful to even go for an NGO election. After that you feel that you BELONG. Thats how Pak Lah feels though Im not a psycologist..he does have the feel and heartbeat for the people of Malaysia. (I havent had any government contracts from him huh!!Wish he will remember me haha)
