Muhyiddin “Elimination Process” PM is Boss-
July 6, 2008
Malaysiakini portal carries a report where it is headlined as “Muhyiddin blames Anwar for political crisis” Full texts: – http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/85633
He went on to say,” happenings related to the Anwar sodomy police report were causing unease in the country at a time when the people were having to put up with an increase in the prices of goods following the rise in the global price of oil. Why is he not defending the DPM in his hour of need ? Is he the “Knight in Shining Armour” about to take his place as the Tag Team No.3 with Tengku as a stop gap at the helm. Tag team (1) Abdullah/Anwar versus Tag team (2) Mahathir/Najib
It was a week that was filled with high political drama in “Malaysiaboleh” land with the stunning Statutory Declarations and it brought two pretenders to the coveted throne Anwar and Najib to their knees. Even Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) in his blog in an article said and I quote,”Yes,it looks like Abdullah will still be UMNO President and Prime Minister come Christmas.” Is it a change of heart from RPK..?
Well, in my earlier articles I did say PM Abdullah knows what he is doing and he is going on with his reforms as spelt out in his election manifesto of 2004. Our first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj will always be known as the prince who won “Independence” for our nation in August 1957. The following PMs from 1971-2003 were known as Razak (Father of Development) Hussein(Father of Unity) Mahathir(Father of Modernisation). As like the following PMs before who had their era and achievements “Pak Lah” we know is very sincere with his reforms. There is indeed a “Phobia” for the DPMs in waiting that if they do not hurry up they will be cast aside and thrown to the wolves.
Abdullah, according to a protem member of ( JPUNS) Jawatan Kuasa Penaja UMNO Negeri Sarawak is not losing his touch as many has said to the extend that he has also lost his administration skills needed to move the country forward. The ship he has steered is moving away from the stormy waters and moving to berth as he prepares for the UMNO General Assembly in December 16th-20th. They say if ,”Tears were laughter,Nights were day,” Abdullah’s prayers are about to be answered. He will not be known now as “Father of BN” - “Father of Barang Naik” and according to the member the ordinary folks will term him as “Pak Lah Bagus Nya.”
Whoever is behind all Pak Lahs strategy should be commended for a job well done. PM though is not taking all these sitting down and he goes about his reforms more with ease as Najib and Anwar are going at each other tit-for-tat. Both these pretenders were given “Icecream sticks” and it is melting rapidly due to the extreme heat.
The Battles have begun for the UMNO positions as Abdullah has secured the 13 nominations from his home state of Penang. PM knows that those who do not secure enough nominationsfor the upcoming elections will have the doors shut on them for another term. Najib will have a tough time as he battles to keep himself afloat with all the allegations and accusations thrown at him by Anwar. The smears campaign and the dramas that has followed has quietly put Muhyddin in the forefront though he has not sided with Abdullah,Najib or Tengku.I still maintain that December would be the “Battle of Waterloo for PM and Tengku”

Muhyiddin is slowly building up his support base and he knows it starts with the branch annual general meetings which will be held between July 17 and Aug 24 while the divisional meetings will be held between Oct 9 and Nov 9. The elimination process will be known by then and he will know who is the boss and for him Muhyddin knows that he will still have to take a step back but in a more prominent role of a “Kingmaker”
The pawns are on the move and the elimination process will not be a battle for the faint hearted. This whole process has me turning to an article which appeared in the Singapore Straits Times dated 23rd of June 2008.In it the senior writer says that the CM of Sarawak who has served 25years at the helm and agrees to let go. However there is talk of Taib handing over to his long standing deputy,Jabu. But many see Jabu as a place-holder at bests. Muhyddin be warned that its an ‘elimination process” and do not forget who is “Boss”.
PM has learnt from the bests and he has taken all this into consideration and he will not relinquish his throne yet as he moves Malaysia with his reforms. The fourth floor boys and the master stategist who has given the icecream sticks has made PM a very happy man. Come January 2009 the Prime Minister of Malaysia will still be Abdullah Ahmad Badawi affectionately and sincerely known an “Pak Lah Bagus Nya” or “Father of Reforms.”

Ya we know Pak Lah is good. Let him get rid of all the roques in UMNO first. Some just think so arrogantly.

Muhyddin is very quiet but he needs to up his ante if he wants to remain useful or of value. Or as the writer says thrown to the wolves. Good, interesting writeup.

Muhyiddin is one of the most corrupt UMNO members. For your information, he was transferred to the Federal Level after his corruption in Johor hit the high heavens. He is another Daim.

if “sab” is correct re muhydin (transfer to federal after corruption in johor) then this is an entrenched practice in umno/bn. a slap on the wrist. like this, malaysia die lah. rampant corruption and you get rewarded with a federal ministership.

I personally believe most Rakyat will not care so much of politic if their basic needs have been taken care of. Eg. efficient & effective integrated transport system, safe environment, well-paid job which take care of room and board. I always analyse from the cause and effect point of view. Why BN lost 5 states in recent PRU12 ? Why Anwar able to get thousands Rakyat to hear him speak and protest ? This certainly show something wrong with this gomen. It means most Rakyat are not benefiting from the implemetation of gomen policies. Who are benefiting at the end of the day ? In conclusion the fund/money has not reach Rakyat Jelata and disappear in thin air. It’s time for them to take a break and let PR do it differently. You can come back to prove yourself again in PRU13.

Yes, very interesting article indeed. It is a chess-game after all – politics and pawns have to be sacrificed. And the way you check-mate must not be seen to be obvious at all; so it is all clever moves – I thought I once heard of a story about the great apes fighting in the jungle and all the animals scurried away because of the great effects of fall-out from their fight. In the end it is the jungle inhabitants that lose out not the great apes.
Well as for Putera Kinabalu, you haven’t seen the light of day yet – as Immuned says – nothing is wrong with Islam as it teaches good things but something is wrong with the followers – mind you Najib goes to the mosque and so does Mahathir, Muhy and the rest of them. Who does Allah hear? None of them. He hears the call of the righteous whose heart is not evil and whose hands are not tainted with blood and ill-gotten money.

Najib vs Anwar…
Muhyiddin Wins!

So many things are involved here and we have to consider everything when making our comments. However, Islam is a respectable religion and should not be included in any of our political problems.
Having said that, I am really getting sick of the political scandals, mudslingings, lies, and abusive nature of our politicians (both sides I mean). Enough is enough, let’s find a way to work out problems in Malaysia and get back on track to resolve the immediate concerns of our citizen.
Imagine, if and when Malaysia become a place difficult for us to live together. We will be the one paying for the huge price. Better start thinking clearly now since there’s only one place we call home.
